It’s about dang time! Queen Latifah Keeps Sexuality Private King Latifah has always battled gay rumors for most of her long career in the entertainment business. The rugged actress/rapper/singer was even rumored be finally walking out the closet on her new CBS talk show this Fall. Via Hollywood Reporter : Specifically, she is not prepared to talk about her sexuality, which has been the topic of much debate. “I don’t feel the need to discuss my private life on this show or any other show,” she says somewhat wearily as she eats a sushi lunch at her desk. “There’s the part of my life that the public and I share together. And there’s the part that’s mine to keep for myself. And that’s mine. For me.” Privacy has become an archaic notion in an era of social media-enabled voyeurism. But executives at Sony support Latifah’s desire to keep her personal life off-limits. “It’s her choice what she chooses to talk about,” says Holly Jacobs, executive vp syndication and reality programming at Sony Pictures Television. “It doesn’t feel relevant to me because we’re just making a big, entertaining show and celebrating all of life. There’s a difference between talking about one’s personal life and one’s point of view and perception of the world and how they see it. Mynique apparently came to the attention of the producers through Ms. Leakes, who also reportedly introduced them to Phaedra Parks and Kenya Moore! Mynique’s husband told Access Atlanta he has know NeNe for “24 years growing up in Athens” and that NeNe and Mynique, a mother of three, have been friends for 12 years. She also knows She By SheBroke from her hubby’s football days. Chuck was quick to point out that Mynique isn’t confirmed as a castmember just yet and hasn’t “officially” joined the show. Both he and his wife recently attended NeNe’s re-wedding to Gregg, where she got friendly with some of the other ladies on the show. “She is just hanging out with friends, as a guest of NeNe but anything is possible,” Chuck revealed. Mynique is currently being considered with other ladies as a potential full-time cast member but could also sign on merely as a ‘Friend of the Housewives’. “I support my wife in all endeavors she is involved in. I believe in her,” Chuck said, giving his opinion of the show. Via US Weekly reports : Jay-Z has a lot of projects in the works these days, but one that hasn’t slipped his mind just yet is a bit more personal: Expanding his family with wife Beyonce. During a candid interview with Hot 97′s Angie Martinez on Tuesday, July 9, the Magna Carta Holy Grail rapper revealed that he would love to have more children one day to keep 18-month-old daughter Blue Ivy company. “Absolutely, God willing,” he replied when Martinez asked whether he’d like to have more kids, joking that he would ideally like “a little basketball team” worth of children. “Then you could be their agent and their dad at the same time,” Martinez said jokingly, referring to Jay-Z’s role as founder of new sports agency Roc Nation Sports. “The world would be a better place,” the rapper replied with a chuckle. During the course of the interview, the 43-year-old music mogul also spoke about getting more comfortable about sharing his personal life, something he had to get used to with the February release of Beyonce’s documentary, Beyonce: Life Is But a Dream — in which the “Love on Top” songstress, 31, revealed plenty about their much-discussed romance, their struggles to conceive and more. “It gave me a little anxiety, but it was something she had to do,” he said of the film. “I had a little bit of anxiety, but it’s all good. You feel weird just putting yourself out there, especially when you reveal so much of yourself in your music.” “You feel like, any more and I’m gonna be nekked out here!” he added. The rapper did reveal one little cute tidbit about their home life, however. Lamar Odom is having the worst week ever. Lamar Odom Goes Nuts On Paparazzi We can’t blame the guy. Khole kicked his dirty doggin’ azz to the curb and he decides to take his frustrations out on the paparazzi. He’s pulling a Kanye. According to TMZ Lamar Odom went absolutely nuts on 2 paparazzi in Hollywood this afternoon … smashing a car, a camera … and then fleeing the scene — apparently with some of the destroyed camera gear. The violent incident was captured on video … where Mr. Khloe Kardashian was seen going into the back of a car belonging to one of the paps, and chucking all of the guy’s equipment into the middle of a busy street. He then walked across the street and smashed another photog’s car with a metal bar, then picked up all the gear from the street and put it in his trunk. Curiously, right after raging against the paps, Lamar also had a run-in with a fan — and couldn’t have been nicer. Watch the video … it’s kinda bizarre. It’s unclear why Lamar was so angry … when the video starts he’s already digging through the pap’s car. So far, no one’s filed a police report. We haven’t heard back from Lamar’s reps.
