Chandler, with reporting by Audrey Kim Nicki Minaj on the set of “Super Bass” Photo: MTV News While Nicki Minaj is supposedly on a recording hiatus, that isn’t stopping the chart-topping rap diva from creating steamy visuals for a track featured on the deluxe edition of her platinum-selling debut, Pink Friday. MTV News caught up with the fashion-forward diva on the set of her new video for “Super Bass.” Dazzling in a skintight pink bodysuit emblazoned with giraffe prints, Nicki completed the look with a half-blond and half-pink wig, gold eye shadow and bright pink lipstick matching the outfit. Nicki revealed the theme behind the song during a break in shooting. ” ‘Super Bass’ is about the boy that you are crushing over,” Nicki said. “And you kind of want to get your mack on, but you’re taking the playful approach.” Gyrating atop a crystal-clear motorcycle, Nicki is clearly upping the sex appeal. The Young Money diva explained the focus behind the video: “I just wanted to do something real colorful and cutesy. This is an icy world, it’s a sexy world, it’s a playful world. Of course I have lots of eye candy for my girls and my boys,” she teased. The teasing doesn’t stop there. “We have a lot of little surprises in store for this particular video,” Nicki promised. “I would like to put out 50 videos. The videos really tell the story a lot more elaborately than just the song does.” Nicki also talked about her smash hit “Moment 4 Life” and its incredible staying power. “It’s been #1 on the rap Billboard charts and then it’s been #1 on the R&B and hip-hop charts,” marveled the 26-year-old starlet. Pink Friday continues to break records as well, with the album achieving a milestone of the most consecutive weeks in the top 10 by a female rapper. The hip-hop beauty summed up neatly her approach to the video in a few brief words. “I felt like ‘Moment 4 Life’ was like letting my hair down, but ‘Super Bass’ is letting it all hang out,” Nicki said with a playful chuckle. Breaking News!: Charlie Sheen Has Officially Been Fired From ’2 And A Half Men’!!

As if we didnt already know THIS was coming. According to TMZ reports : TMZ has obtained a letter Warner Bros. sent to Charlie Sheen’s lawyer, stating Charlie was being terminated because he committed a felony involving “moral turpitude.” In the 11-page letter, obtained from sources connected to Charlie, Warner Bros. states, “Your client has been engaged in dangerously self-destructive conduct and appears to be very ill.” The letter then goes on to describe Charlie’s hijinks, including trashing the Plaza Hotel in NYC, coke binges, on-set failures because of drug fatigue, and diatribes against “Two and a Half Men” creator Chuck Lorre. The letter also notes that Charlie derailed production when he went into rehab, and then he fired his sobriety coach. In fact, Warner Bros. claims it was so concerned about Charlie’s well-being, “Warner Bros. had an airplane waiting” to take him to a treatment facility … but Charlie would have none of it. As for why Charlie got fired, the letter says there is a clause in his contract saying they can fire a performer who commits “a felony offense involving moral turpitude.” The letter says, “There is ample evidence supporting Warner Bros. reasonable good faith opinion that Mr. Sheen has committed felony offenses involving moral turpitude (including but not limited to furnishing of cocaine to others as part of the self-destructive lifestyle he has described publicly) that have ‘interfere[d] with his ability to fully and completely render all material services required’ under the agreement.” In short, that’s why Charlie was fired. Charlie’s lawyer, Marty Singer, has demanded Warner Bros. pay Charlie for the eight canceled episodes — or else. For what it’s worth, all the attention he’s gained over the last month he’ll get an amazing show deal somewhere else. Only people that lose in this deal is CBS.

The Charlie Sheen Rundown: Custody, Apology, Legal Demands…

In the latest edition of As Charlie Sheen’s Hilariously Troubled World Turns… Brooke Mueller has responded to the video that depicts her young twins hanging around Sheen’s “goddesses” and taken action to wrestle physical custody of them from her ex-husband. One problem, according to TMZ? She went to the wrong police station to do so. Sheen’s lawyer, Marty Singer, has fired off a letter to Warner Bros. and CBS that demands Sheen gets paid for the full season of Two and a Half Men , lest these companies face legal action. It reads: “Warner Bros. made it clear they wanted Charlie back for two more years, even with the prospect that he could go to jail. They made a deal with him while the charges were pending. But now that Charlie made some disparaging comments about the show runner who had refused to work… they made a decision not to proceed with the show this year. It’s outrageous.” On its own, that statement actually makes a solid argument. Following the uproar over how Sheen referred to creator Chuck Lorre as “Chaim,” the actor has asked for an apology from the Anti-Defamation League for saying the actor exhibited “borderline anti-Semitism” via that comment. Singer has also sent that organization a letter that demands a retraction because his clien’s only intention was to “address the man rather than his television persona.” In what he claims will be his final new interview, Sheen called in to the Howard Stern radio show today. Among the tidbits shared: He’s never made a sex tape. He isn’t worried about returning to Two and a Half Men : “I don’t believe in panicking – panicking is for amateurs and morons.” He thinks CBS President Les Moonves ought to fire Lorre: “Chuck wants out, because he’s burned out. He’s got three shows, and he has forgotten that ours was the one who launched the other two… And he’s trying to make me the fall guy, and he’s not going to do it because his tactics are silly and juvenile, and the work of an amateur. I think the real solution is that Les should just fire him and put me back on, and everybody wins.” But isn’t Sheen already WINNING? Listen to the Stern interview below. Brooke Mueller Files Restraining Order Against Charlie Sheen

Charlie Sheen may be granting time to every media outlet in the country (Chuck, call us!), but there’s one person the crazed actor won’t be speaking to: Brooke Mueller. She has been granted a restraining order, TMZ reports . Los Angeles Superior Court has banned the star from going within 100 yards away of his ex-wife. He also cannot have any contact with her. Why the sudden filing, considering Mueller was just on vacation with Sheen, Bree Olson and Natalie Kenley in the Bahamas ? A “Lil Positivity” After Suicide: Former Chicago Bears Player Dave Duerson’s Brain Donated For Research

Dave Duerson’s death has been ruled a suicide and despite the tragedy, his family has decided to donate his brain for research: The family of former Bears safety Dave Duerson has agreed to donate his brain for research into chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a condition linked to athletes who have sustained repeated concussions. Chris Nowinski at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Encephalopathy at Boston University School of Medicine told The Associated Press he was contacted by a representative of the NFL Players Association on Friday, then worked with a representative of Duerson’s family. “I can confirm that Mr. Duerson’s family has agreed to donate his brain to the CSTE at BU School of Medicine,” Nowinski said in an e-mail. Duerson died Thursday in Sunny Isles Beach, Fla. The Miami-Dade medical examiner ruled the death a suicide, Miami-Dade police spokesman Roy Rutland said Sunday. He confirmed that a gun was used but did not specify where Duerson shot himself. It’s unclear why Duerson killed himself, although his company had been forced into receivership several years ago and he had lost his home to foreclosure, former Bears coach Mike Ditka told the AP in a phone interview Sunday. “I knew he had some problems, I knew he lost the business, I knew all that,” said Ditka, whose Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund works to help provide for retired players, which includes funding research into health-related issues such as brain injuries. “It’s just a tragedy,” Ditka said. “It really is.” A native of Muncie, Ind., Duerson was a third-round draft pick by the Bears in 1983 out of Notre Dame and played 11 seasons in the NFL. He won Super Bowls with the 1985 Bears and 1990 Giants and played in four Pro Bowls. Ditka said he isn’t sure whether Duerson was having any issues connected with his playing career, but he acknowledged that it has become common among former players. Source

Two and a Half Men Creator Challenges Charlie Sheen to a Live-Off

At the conclusion of last night’s Two and a Half Men episode, the final installment filmed prior to Charlie Sheen’s quasi trip to rehab, creator Chuck Lorre posted a message that ran in the show’s credits. Likely in response to the actor’s hilarious threat that CBS better let him work or else he’ll go back to boozing, Lorre made a reference to Sheen dying young. The on-screen card read: What do you think? Is Chuck Lorre calling out Charlie Sheen in such a public, personal matter fair or foul? UPDATE: In response, Sheen says: “Chuck, I will outlive you. I will piss you off… I miss you, man.”
