Two and a Half Men Creator Challenges Charlie Sheen to a Live-Off

At the conclusion of last night’s Two and a Half Men episode, the final installment filmed prior to Charlie Sheen’s quasi trip to rehab, creator Chuck Lorre posted a message that ran in the show’s credits. Likely in response to the actor’s hilarious threat that CBS better let him work or else he’ll go back to boozing, Lorre made a reference to Sheen dying young. The on-screen card read: What do you think? Is Chuck Lorre calling out Charlie Sheen in such a public, personal matter fair or foul? UPDATE: In response, Sheen says: “Chuck, I will outlive you. I will piss you off… I miss you, man.”

Brooklyn Decker Recalls Telling Off A Teacher On ‘When I Was 17’

Supermodel remembers heated argument over yearbook in latest episode. By Mawuse Ziegbe Brooklyn Decker on “When I Was 17” Photo: MTV Brooklyn Decker is a catwalk-strutting supermodel who can induce whiplash with her swimsuit-clad curves, but in high school the siren had more of a passion for politics than fashion. On the latest episode of “When I Was 17” — which premieres Saturday at 11 a.m. ET on MTV — Decker recalls getting into a heated argument with her teacher over a yearbook layout that would have left her beloved student council out of the tome. “My friend Ashley and I were in this class. I was the senior class president and Ashley was student body president, and the yearbook teacher did not want to give student council a page in the yearbook,” she says, explaining, “We funded all these clubs and we support all these clubs through spirit week and so we thought we deserve a page in the yearbook.” However, their teacher, Ms. Smith, explains that since the student council was full of go-getting teens active in several clubs that would’ve gotten some shine elsewhere in the annual volume, perhaps preserving space for those other organizations would help spread the yearbook love. “We had one page left in the book,” the teacher recalls. “We were trying to decide what group would get that one last page, and I said, ‘Listen guys, the same people who are in student council are in lots of other things and so I think we should give the page to this less visible group in the school.’ ” But Decker wasn’t having it. Her friend Ashley says, “Brooke just like, lost it,” a reaction the model doesn’t deny. “We started yelling things at one another and by the end of the class Ashley took a trash can and just chucked it at a wall. And I walked out of the class and I went like this [makes a provocative gesture] and I yelled, ‘Suck it!’ to my teacher,” she says. Decker jokingly chalks up the outburst to an overload of heart-racing energy drinks. “I don’t know what came over me, I was crazy in high school,” she says. “I was like, all hopped up on Red Bull or something, I don’t know.” “When I Was 17” — this week featuring Kobe Bryant, Brooklyn Decker and Candice Accola — premieres Saturday at 11 a.m. ET on MTV. Charlie Sheen Checks into Rehab, Production Halted on Two and a Half Men

In a surprising, albeit necessary, turn of events, Charlie Sheen has checked himself into a rehab center. The news comes just hours after the actor was released from the hospital , following yet another crazy night that concluded with him being carted away in an ambulance. Kacey Jordan Interview Sources say the interview above – a detailed account of the raging, cocaine-fueled evening in question, given by porn star Kacey Jordan – played a key role in Sheen’s reps finally convincing him to enter the undisclosed facility. Production on Two and a Half Men will be placed on hold until Sheen is ready to work again. In a statement, producers from that show say: “Due to Charlie Sheen’s decision to enter a rehabilitation center, CBS, Warner Bros. Television and executive producer Chuck Lorre are placing Two and a Half Men on production hiatus. We are profoundly concerned for his health and well-being, and support his decision.” So do we. Critics’ Choice Movie Awards Fashion: Mila Kunis, Kim Kardashian, More

Little black dresses rule the red carpet, with Nicole Kidman, Keri Hilson and more going with darker hues. By Kara Warner Mila Kunis arrives at the 2011 Critics’ Choice Awards Photo: Jon Kopaloff/ FilmMagic There are many things to love about awards season, particularly for the pop-culture junkies and celebrity obsessed. There are fancy parties, pretty people, glitz, glamour, etc., with most of those things revolving around fashion. (Check out all of the hottest fashion from the 2011 Critics’ Choice Awards red carpet.) At Friday night’s(January 14) Critics’ Choice Movie Awards , there were plenty of fancy threads to appreciate — particularly for the few attendees who sported uniquely colored ensembles. Hailee Steinfeld’s peaches-and-cream Marchesa and Kim Kardashian’s form-fitting, fire-engine-red Vera Wang gown were prime examples. Not to mention Natalie Portman’s white number with black trim. But for the few splashes of color, there were far more folks sporting variations on one shade: black. Naturally, we expect to see most of the men in black, since they typically sport tuxedos, but plenty of ladies went with a darker wardrobe as well. Prime examples: Best Supporting Actress nominee Mila Kunis wore a short, black Nina Ricci; Eva Mendes rocked a flowy-yet-saucy black mini-dress embellished with a large bow; Nicole Kidman chose a long, drapey black number; and Keri Hilson selected a sparkly-bustier, silky black ensemble. And the list doesn’t end there: Funnywomen Joan Rivers and Sarah Silverman also joined the raven-adorned ranks. But everyone knows a good red carpet isn’t just about the ladies; we’d be remiss if we didn’t recognize a few gentlemen who stood out in the crowd. Justin Bieber looked suave, even though he attempted to fool everyone by wearing framed glasses and a mustache. The always dapper John Legend wore a charcoal Gucci suit, and “The Town” star Jeremy Renner and “Chuck”/”Tangled” actor Zachary Levi also got noticed. Is Eli Roth Co-Directing RZA’s Kung Fu Epic?

An air of mystery (and, understandably, confusion) has surrounded the awesome-in-theory directorial debut of Wu-Tang Clan rapper-turned-actor RZA, who began filming his period kung fu epic The Man with the Iron Fists last month in China. With the plot largely under wraps — it involves a weapons-forging blacksmith in feudal China to be played by RZA himself, because of course! — production details from the period film have been kept largely on the hush, aside from co-producer / co-writer Eli Roth’s colorful tweets from the set. That is, until a few cast members began posting (non-spoilery) reports from the set describing how things are going.

The Godfather Part IV Isn’t Happening, Says Talia Shire

It’s getting to be late in the day on Friday — at least here on the frigid East Coast — and that means silliness. So, Talia Shire, will there be a fourth Godfather film coming to theaters in the near future? “I doubt it,” she said on Thursday night at The New York Times ‘ Film Club event in Los Angeles. “It makes me sad; we are not making great movies anymore.” Dammit! That movie that isn’t real that no one even imagined would happen isn’t going to happen? Way to put a black cloud on my weekend. Nino Rota, take us out . [ THR ]
