They’re not quite Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar , but Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have quite the sizable brood. Brad and Angie are already parents to six kids – ranging in age from 6 to 13 – and they’re reportedly planning to expand their clan by adopting a 2-year-old Syrian boy named Moussa. Several media outlets are reporting that Moussa is living in a refugee camp in Turkey, waiting for his adoption into the Jolie-Pitt family to be finalized. Jolie reportedly met the child while visiting the camp as part of her humanitarian work for UNICEF. Jolie and Pitt got married in August, but have been together for over a decade. They adopted their first child together in 2005. Both known for hard partying in their youths, Pitt and Jolie have now fully devoted themselves to parenting, and have been applauded for their selfless commitment to their children’s happiness. Brad and Angie’s kids most recently made headlines when it was rumored that 8-year-old Shiloh Jolie-Pitt had decided to identify as a boy and asked family members to refer to her as John. That report has yet to be confirmed, but the couple has spoken openly about allowing their children the freedom to dress and identify themselves as they please. The Jolie-Pitts also have yet to confirm that little Moussa is soon to join their family, but insiders have indicated that an announcement will be made within the next week. CBS This Morning documented a surprise reunion in North Carolina, where Marine Sgt. Kyle Street came home early after his fourth deployment in six years. When his wife opened the door, her reaction was priceless … as was her response when asked about the first thing the couple wanted to do upon being reunited. The Real Housewives of New Jersey brought us “Everything Is Coming Up Rosie” but is an intervention led by the hot headed cousin really what they need? We recap both the good advice and the asinine in our THG +/- review. Joe Gorga drives home from the gym still muttering curses at Teresa under his breath. I’m not sure what he’s more upset about, being told he’s pussy whipped or finding out that Melissa tweeted something unkind about his sister. Maybe Melissa isn’t the angel he thinks she is. Melissa’s still working on her book, because who doesn’t need advice on marriage from a Real Housewife? Plus 10 for talking to her family beforehand about putting her father’s philandering past in the book but I wonder if she would have done it anyway even if they objected. Teresa and Joe Giudice head out to watch Milania play soccer and Plus 12 because there is nothing cuter than a little kid soccer game. Of course the other parents can probably do without Joe’s colorful description of sister-in-law Melissa. “She definitely straps one on and sticks it in his ***.” Minus 20 . You can always count on Joe Giudice to keep it classy, even at a children’s event. I’m not sure what was funnier…or more painful. Watching Teresa hunt and peck on her keyboard trying to write her blog, hearing her husband try and explain to her who Napoleon was, or listening to her rendition of people who live in glass houses should throw stones. In Teresa-speak it comes out, “When you throw dust, dust comes back in. Something about stones.” Plus 30 because without Teresa this show wouldn’t be nearly as comical. And what’s up with the holistic healing and meditation retreat? Who stuck that idea in Teresa’s head? I certainly don’t see her coming up with it on her own but Plus 15 because it’s bound to be either hysterical, an epic failure, or both. The rest of the cast can’t seem to stop talking about Teresa who calls Caroline to let her know about the debacle with Joe at the gym. Caroline decides it’s time to take a step back…which lasts not even five minutes when she blabs all to Kathy and Jacqueline and tries once again to encourage a reconciliation. Minus 13. Jacqueline’s not thrilled and the second Caroline brings up Teresa’s name she huffs, “You killed my boner.” Really Caroline, just leave it alone already. Of course Caroline still has her own grown children to fuss over. Apparently Lauren’s still keeping CafFace afloat. Plus 11. She’s focusing on her business and not nearly as interested in marrying Vito. Albie and Chris are still excited about their restaurant venture. When momma Caroline pushes the marriage issue, Albie says he’s just got to find a woman who’s willing to never see him because he’ll be working all the time. Good luck with that. And Chris, oh he’s got some interesting views on starting a family. He says he never wants a girl because from ages 0 to 10 he just needs to “keep the thing alive” and from 10 to 25 he needs to make sure “it’s not a whore.” That’s just too much pressure for him. Oh, he’s a keeper ladies. Don’t all rush at him at once… Minus 35! But wait, he’s not done. Apparently he also believes that, “Fat girls are blow job queens.” Well, except for his sister. Mom must be so proud. Speaking of men who are idiots, we’ll move on to Kathy and Rich. Rich whose wardrobe is straight out of 1991, is telling Kathy what the packaging of her cannoli should look like. Minus 27 . Kathy’s opinion can’t possibly be right because Rich, “married a housewife, not an entrepreneur.” Can you put husband is a jackass as a reason for divorce proceedings in New Jersey? As Kathy tries to assert a little independence, Rich puts her down and steamrolls her decisions. He really has little respect for his wife outside of the kitchen. Things aren’t looking good for these two. Finally we get to Rosie’s intervention. The loud mouthed, hot head decides to intervene with Teresa. First off, Teresa asks for a wine and Rosie brings a drink she’s certain she’ll like more. Isn’t that typical arrogant male behavior? No wonder Rosie hasn’t had sex in six years. Then within five minutes Rosie is screaming and pounding on the table. That didn’t take long. Minus 14. The funny thing is, for a little while Rosie actually makes Teresa look rational. Rosie reminds me of having a conversation with a drunk. They’re fine one minute, the next their screaming, then they’re apologizing before the cycle starts all over again. Just watching is exhausting. But Rosie offers to head to a holistic healing retreat…and suggests inviting the rest of the clan as welll. What could possibly go wrong? Episode total = -31! Left out of the Kardashian family Christmas card , Kanye West will not be left out of the clan’s annual holiday tradition. Speaking to E! News, Rob Kardashian detailed how he and his relatives handle December 25 every year, from a “really big party” on Christmas Even to everyone sleeping over at the house and waking up at 6 a.m. the next morning. “They all make breakfast, all the girls. We watch basketball. It’s a family day.” And will the man who may someday slip a ring on the finger of Kim Kardashian be included? “Christmas is home, so everyone will be home and we’ll all hang out together,” Rob confirmed. Guess that means Scott Disick will be there, too. Sorry, everyone else.
We always have Nelson Mandela in our prayers. Via NY Daily News : Former South African president Nelson Mandela was admitted to hospital on Saturday for medical tests, although the government said there was no cause for alarm. A statement from President Jacob Zuma’s office gave no details of the condition of the 94-year-old anti-apartheid leader. “Former President Mandela will receive medical attention from time to time which is consistent with his age,” the statement said. “President Zuma assures all that Madiba is doing well and there is no cause for alarm,” it added, referring to Mandela by his clan name. Mandela, who became South Africa’s first black president after the country’s first all-race elections in 1994, was admitted to hospital in February because of abdominal pain but released the following day after a keyhole examination showed there was nothing seriously wrong with him. He has since spent most of his time in his ancestral home in Qunu, a village in the impoverished Eastern Cape province. His frail health prevents him from making any public appearances in South Africa, although in the last few months he has continued to receive high-profile visitors, including former U.S. President Bill Clinton. Rob can’t take the stress of being the least successful Kardashian any longer. The youngest and only “Man” of the clan, Rob broke down during a group therapy session on the latest episode of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’. “Right now, there’s some issues between us,” Rob admitted when urging his family to attend therapy with Dr. Nicki Monti. Most of the brood was on board, but convincing Kim to go was a different story. “Therapy’s not for me. I’m a very logical person so if I’m acting crazy, I know why,” Kim said begrudgingly after being dragged along. “I don’t really want to talk to a stranger about my family problems.” In the end, it was Kim who was targeted by her siblings in the first of a two-part episode. “Kim is the most selfish person and doesn’t want to ever include me,” Rob admitted, after getting into a blowout fight with his sister, accusing her of hampering and interfering with his career. Jenner told the group she doesn’t “mean any harm” by favoring Kim, but Khloe and Kourtney felt otherwise, and told their mother as much during the explosive therapy session. “I don’t know why my mom finds it a shock to think she favors Kim,” Khloe said. “We’re not just my mom’s clients, we’re her children!” Peep the vid. It looks like Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA has learned well from his masters — they being the Hong Kong grindhouse filmmakers of yesteryear whose slicing, dicing martial arts exports clearly influenced more than just the rapper-actor’s musical side, not to mention the reigning icon of modern exploitation cinema culture, Quentin Tarantino . Watch Russell Crowe , Lucy Liu , Pam Grier , Jamie Chung , and RZA himself chop, stab, kick, and fight their way through the bloody first redband trailer for The Man with the Iron Fists ! RZA stars in the film as the eponymous man with the iron fists, a small-town blacksmith in feudal China (the kind of fantasy “feudal China” where RZA can play a local and everyone speaks English) who jumps into action in defense of his village, though the trailer smartly glosses over anything resembling a plot and cuts right to the selling point: This cast, equipped with a plethora of weapons, fighting each other as if in a gloriously lush contemporary Shaw Brothers flick. In addition to earning a “Presented by Quentin Tarantino” credit, RZA’s kung fu actioner is co-written by Eli Roth, who also produced. But QT and Roth aren’t the only veterans RZA surrounded himself with for his feature directing debut: He’s got Corey Yuen onboard as fight choreographer and Chi Ying Chan ( Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame ) as DP, along with a host of supporting cast members plucked from the worlds of action and Chinese film, including Dave Bautista, Cung Le, Daniel Wu, Rick Yune, and Gordon Liu. CG blood squibs too-frequently come off as a silly workaround, so it’ll remain to be seen just how these fight sequences play within the film. But the glimpses we see here promise inventive framing and action choreography, not to mention some painful-looking bladed weapons and a studied eye for the genre. Verdict: Where can I sign up for Lucy Liu’s school of killing for girls?? O-Ren Ishii lives on! Sullivan and Josh Wigler Tom Hardy as Bane in ‘Dark Knight Rises’ Photo: With ” The Dark Knight Rises ” so close and scalpers asking for upwards of $150 for tickets , anticipation for the conclusion to Christopher Nolan ‘s Batman trilogy just reached a fever pitch, and now a new trailer has debuted on a Nokia mobile app, showing off new footage and effectively pushing us past our maximum capacity for excitement. Warning: The article contains minor spoilers. Here are five key scenes from the new “Dark Knight Rises” trailer: An Army Rising It was never a secret that Bane intended to amass an army once he reached Gotham City, since most of the ad campaigns have focused on the final, epic battle between the mercenaries and the police. The new shot featured in the trailer, however, showing a full-fledged army storming the streets of Gotham, gives a better sense of the scale of the uprising. This is going to be a war — not just a big fist fight. Bane actually does have an army at his command, and they’re sacking Gotham, as another villainous group had once discussed doing. ‘I’m Not Afraid. I’m Angry.’ In the last trailer, Selina Kyle suggested that John Blake should be as afraid of Bane as she is. Bruce, on the other hand, is not taking her advice. With so much of the promotional material focusing on what’s new to “The Dark Knight Rises,” Batman gets a little lost in the shuffle. This single line gives us an interesting insight into the mind of Bruce, something that has pretty much remained a mystery. Bane blows stuff up, and Selina Kyle steals things, but what’s going on with the Batman? ‘Mr. Wayne’ Given that Bane has been seen parading around with Batman’s shattered mask in his hands in numerous teasers and trailers gone by, it makes sense that the venom-fueled terrorist would eventually learn the Caped Crusader’s secret identity. Still, hearing Bane utter the words “Mr. Wayne” accomplishes the goal of sending shivers directly down the viewers’ spine. This monstrosity of a man knows Bruce’s greatest secret, and he’ll wield that information with the same painful precision we assume he’ll bring down upon our hero’s back later in the film. Catwoman Flips This might not be so relevant to the story, but Selina Kyle does a backflip … out of sight … in a maid’s outfit. In the battle to make Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman a more imposing and badass character, the backflip certainly helps her case. She’s come a long way since the day when the Internet openly mocked her costume design. Now she’s fighting alongside Batman, stealing Ferraris and backflipping in a maid’s outfit. Touch
