According to NY Daily News: A Georgia woman found out her boyfriend was cheating on her — so she stabbed him. Randi Marie Houser, 30, of Athens, was charged with aggravated assault by the Athens-Clarke County police for allegedly stabbing her 30-year-old boyfriend, according to OnlineAthens.com. The stabbing occurred after the boyfriend, who was not identified, asked Houser for a ride to work, but Houser did not want to get out of bed. He then pulled the blanket back and Houser attacked him, saying he could call “one of his other women,” the outlet reported. She then drove him to the hospital instead to treat internal injuries. The victim told medical staff he was injured by a piece of glass on the floor, but after Houser admitted to the stabbing to police he said she had recently caught him cheating. The boyfriend suffered internal injuries near his lung, the website reported. You know you’re crazy when you stab a person with one hand and use the other to drive them to the hospital. O.J. Simpson made his request for a new trial today, claiming the lawyer who represented him in his kidnapping and robbery case screwed him over. Guy will seriously never go away it seems. Simpson appeared in court wearing a blue jail uniform; his hair was shorter and grayer than it was during a previous court appearance in 2008. He’s also not wasting away in jail. Just saying. Guy must have the premium meal plan in there or something, because wow. Letting himself go. Anyway, he entered the courtroom in handcuffs, flanked by security guards and nodded and raised his eyebrows to acknowledge people he recognized. A marshal warned people in the audience not to try to communicate with Simpson, who’s doing 9-to-33 years in prison. No words were exchanged. Simpson, who never testified in his 1994-95 murder trial or in the 2007 robbery case that sent him to the big house, is due to testify Wednesday. His former attorney, Yale Galanter, is scheduled to testify Friday. Simpson says Galanter knew about his plan to retrieve what he thought were personal items from two sports memorabilia dealers in a casino hotel room. O.J. also said Yale never told him a plea deal was on the table. Galanter was paid nearly $700,000 for his defense but had a personal interest in preventing himself from being identified as a witness to the crimes, O.J. says. As a result, he misled Simpson so much that the former football star deserves a new trial, new lawyers for the NFL great claimed today in court. “To me, the claims are solid. I don’t know how the court can’t grant relief,” said Patricia Palm, the appeals lawyer who is spearheading this effort. Of the 22 allegations of conflict-of-interest and ineffective counsel that Palm raised, Clark County (Nev.) District Court Judge Linda Marie Bell agreed to hear 19. The five-day proceedings are technically neither a trial nor appeal. There won’t be any opening statements from either side. The judge will listen to testimony before deciding whether Simpson deserves a new trial. It’s not clear whether Bell will rule immediately. Simpson maintains the plan was to take back family photos and personal belongings stolen from him after his 1995 “trial of the century” murder acquittal. He was soon convicted of recruiting some goons to “get some heat” and robbing the memorabilia dealers, however, and was sent to state prison. O.J. was also found liable for damages in a civil wrongful death lawsuit and ordered to pay $33.5 million to the families of the two people he probably killed.

Retired NFL baller and habitual woman beater Larry Johnson has been arrested yet again for “unnecessary roughness” with the fairer sex. Ex-baller boo thang to Julissa Bermudez and former BFF and “roommate” to Hov — was accused of trying to choke a beyotch out in Vegas today. According to TMZ reports : Former NFL running back Larry Johnson was arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada this morning for domestic violence … TMZ has learned. According to Clark County Jail records, Johnson has been accused of strangling someone. It’s unclear who the alleged victim is. Johnson — who once signed a $45 million contract with the Kansas City Chiefs — is being held until he can see a judge tomorrow morning. 32-year-old Johnson has been arrested 4 other times since 2003 — each time he was accused of assaulting a woman. In 2008, he was sued for allegedly spitting on a woman in a nightclub. He paid $100k to settle that case. In 2011, LJ was sued for allegedly beating up a man in Miami Beach. Attempted strangling? This ninja ain’t isht. And Julissa knows she’s better off without him. After being tweeted about her past love, the reality star had this to say: Welp. We’re glad Julissa has moved on. Hands off the refs. And hands off the ladies! Houston Rockets guard Kyle Lowry has been charged with one count of misdemeanor battery by the Clark County District Attorney’s office in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Las Vegas Justice Court issued a summons for Lowry to appear before it on Feb 2. If convicted, Lowry faces up to six months in the Clark County Detention Center and/or a fine of not more than $1,000. “We have confirmed a criminal complaint charging Kyle Lowry with one count of misdemeanor battery has been filed with the Las Vegas Justice Court,” said Tess Driver, DA’s office spokeswoman, in an interview with FOX 26 Sports. According to the charges, the allegations stem from a basketball game Lowry was playing in between NBA players on Sept. 22, 2011 in Las Vegas. The female victim, Infini Robinson, was one of the referees in the game. The declaration of warrant/summons said, “At the end of the game, Lowry approached the victim and threw a basketball at her striking her in her torso. The victim picked up the basketball and tossed it back at Lowry. Lowry became upset and stated, ‘B****, meet me outside. I will kick you’re a**’.” The warrant goes on to allege that after Lowry walked away, Robinson went to the designated area for officials to change shoes and clothing, and she was hit with a basketball at a high rate of speed. Also according to the warrant, Charlotte Bobcats forward Corey Maggette apologized to Robinson on behalf of Lowry and that Lowry also approached Robinson and said, “I’m sorry. I truly apologize for what I did. I let my emotions get the best of me.” Damn, ballers were acting an a$$ during the lockout. But assaulting referees is just too much. Lowry’s actually been having a decent season with the Rockets so far, and this might derail the whole thing. Oh well, those actions are horrible and he’s gotta pay the price if he did it. LAS VEGAS — Pop singer Bruno Mars is taking a plea deal in Las Vegas to be allowed to pay a fine, serve probation and have a felony cocaine possession charge against him dismissed, authorities said. The 25-year-old Grammy nominee is due before a Las Vegas judge Feb. 4 to waive an evidentiary hearing so he can plead guilty and be sentenced in state court, his attorneys and Clark County District Attorney David Roger said. Mars’ real name is Peter Hernandez. Defense lawyers David Chesnoff and Blair Berk said that if he pays a $2,000 fine, performs 200 hours of community service, completes drug counseling and stays out of trouble for a year, no conviction will remain on his record. “Bruno is very appreciative he is being given this opportunity as a first offender not to suffer any conviction and instead to have his charge dismissed,” Berk told The Associated Press. “He is taking all of this quite seriously.” …An arrest report said a Hard Rock Hotel & Casino bathroom attendant noticed a man taking a long time in a stall with a bag of a white, powdered substance just before 2 a.m., and summoned security. The hotel-casino is separate from the restaurant chain with the same name. Police said Mars handed over a bag containing 2.6 grams of cocaine, and told the arresting officer he’d never used drugs before. We don’t believe any of that “he’d never used drugs before” sh*t, but we understand. Get it how you live, pimp.
