Eric Trump Tweets Illegal Photo of Ballot

LOCK HIM UP! LOCK HIM UP! LOCK HIM UP! Early on Tuesday, little known Donald Trump son Eric went into a voting booth and cast a vote for his father as President of the United States. No matter what you may think of the candidate, you can understand why his offspring would be proud to take this step. But Eric Trump then took another step, snapping a photo of his ballot and sharing it on Twitter. “It is an incredible honor to vote for my father!” he captioned the social media photo, adding: “He will do such a great job for the U.S.A! #MakeAmericaGreatAgain.” Again, folks can debate whether or not they believe this to be true and we’ll know in a few hours on which side a majority of the country falls… … but one thing cannot be debated: What Eric Trump did was illegal. A federal judge recently upheld New York’s ban on ballot selfies. As NY1 reported on Friday, voters who are caught taking selfies inside of the voting booth can face a fine of up to $1,000 and one year in jail. Likely made aware that he had violated the law, Eric deleted the above Tweet after just a short while. But this is the Internet. It will live forever. “A last-minute, judicially-imposed change in the protocol at 5,300 polling places would be a recipe for delays and a disorderly election, as well-intentioned voters either took the perfectly posed selfie or struggled with their rarely-used smartphone camera,” the judge’s decision read. It concluded: “This would not be in the public interest, a hurdle that all preliminary injunctions must cross.” Justin Timberlake committed the same offense last week when he voted early in Tennessee and snapped a selfie of himself doing so. So perhaps Eric Trump just wanted to be compared to Justin Timberlake for the first time in his life. “I recently voted,” the singer joked to Jimmy Fallon after this incident went viral. “Super quiet, under the radar. Went home to Tennessee and voted. Super quiet, in and out. No one even knew.” We doubt Eric Trump will go to jail, but it’s ironic, isn’t it? His dad has spent months trying to make the case that Hillary Clinton is corrupt… and then here comes his very own son, committing an illegal action on the very say Donald hopes to be voted into office. So very ironic. At least we know who Eric Trump voted for. But who will YOU be voting for? Let us know below: And the Winner is? Presidential Election Results 2016: Who Will Win?!

November 8, 2016.  A campaign that spanned the better part of two years all came down to Tuesday evening, with the 45th occupant of the Oval Office to be determined. Will Hillary Clinton eke this one out? Will Donald Trump pull off an upset? Soon enough, we will know who will be president come January. We’ve had months to digest what each candidate brings to the table, their strengths and flaws, in what has become a political bloodbath. You’ve had months to profess your not-actually-profound views on Facebook in hopes of influencing people who blocked you weeks ago. Now it’s time to get it done. Go exercise your civic duty. If you’re on the west coast and wondering where do I vote , there’s still time.  Go make it happen. Then sit back and watch the results roll in as this insane roller coaster takes its final turn toward the finish line. Either way, history will be made in a presidential election like no other … and either way, the deluge of absurd ads will be over at least.  Earlier this morning in Chappaqua, N.Y., Hillary Clinton became the first woman to cast a presidential vote for herself as a major party candidate. She’s all but certain to win the Empire State’s 29 Electoral Votes against Donald J. Trump, who also voted for himself today in Manhattan. While N.Y. State is not up for grabs, plenty of other states are, and national polls show a very tight race, with a modest Clinton advantage. Will it be enough to carry her over the top? Slightly more likely than not … but if we’ve learned anything this year, it’s not to count Trump and his galvanized movement of supporters out. Seriously. Who would’ve guessed he’d make it this far – or that he’d rally from one campaign calamity after another to make this close? UPDATE, 3:45 p.m. : The final projection of Five Thirty Eight, a leading political poll aggregator, suggests the following win probabilities: As you can see, the site gives Clinton a 71.4% chance of prevailing tonight, based on state-by-state probabilities as indicated by color. Other forecasters such as the N.Y. Times put Hillary’s odds closer to 85% … while the Huffington Post gives her a ludicrous 98% chance. Our opinion is that 538’s percentages are more in line with Trump’s chances tonight. While he trails in the polls, he has reason for hope: 1. Polls are sometimes wrong. Usually, they’re pretty accurate, but if Clinton leads by only 2-4 points, that’s within the margin of error. 2. A relatively large number of voters still remain undecided. A 46-42% Clinton lead is more uncertain than a 51-47% lead, for example. 3. The bulk of Clinton’s lead may come from states she has no chance of losing (California, Illinois, N.Y.) and won’t help in the Electoral College. They’ll help, of course; 270 is the number needed to win, and those three count for a lot. But many other battlegrounds are perilously close. Anyway, just a few hours until the first precincts close! We’ll be updating this post with the numbers as they become available. For now, and throughout the day/night, sound off on this historic event! Tell us in the comments: Who will prevail, and who are you voting for ? Is the system rigged? Will she (or he) be an effective president? And the Winner is? Trump Still Says FBI Investigation Is Rigged

After the FBI investigation of Hillary Clinton’s emails was reopened, it closed just as fast. Donald Trump is still leading his campaign on Clinton’s FBI investigation with hopes of winning over more votes. Check out what he had to say and let us know what you think!

Trump Still Says FBI Investigation Is Rigged

Hillary Clinton to the FBI: WTH is Going On?!?

With just over a week until American citizens elect a new President, leading nominee Hillary Clinton has a question for the FBI. And it basically goes like this: What the heck, people?!? On Friday afternoon, FBI Director James Comey possibly shook up the election by releasing a statement that new information has surfaced that may be “pertinent” to his organization’s investigation into Clinton’s emails. The statement reads as follows: “In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear pertinent to the investigation. “I am writing to inform you that the investigative team briefed me on this yesterday, and I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation.” That is the extent of the information Comey has provided. Various outlets, however, have reported that the newly-discovered emails are part of an investigation into Anthony Weiner, the disgraced former congressman who recently separated from top Clinton aide Huma Abedin after a sexting incident. (Yes, this goes back to Anthony Weiner allegeding sending lewd photos to a 15-year old girl.) It is not believed that Clinton even sent these emails or that they emanated from her private server. They simply make references to the Democratic front-runner in exchanges discovered on Abedin’s cellphone. Speaking to the press from Iowa in light of this revelation, Clinton sounded angry, surprised, irritated and simply confused. “I have now seen Director Comey’s letter to Congress. We are 11 days out from perhaps the most national election of our lifetimes. Voting is underway, so the American people deserve to get the full and complete facts immediately,” Clinton said in her opening remarks. She continued, in regard to a question about Abedin and Weiner: “We’ve heard these rumors. We don’t know what to believe. I’m sure there will be even more rumors. “That’s why it is incumbent upon on the FBI to tell us what they’re talking about, because right now your guess is as good as mine, and I don’t think that’s good enough… “So we’ve made it very clear that if they’re going to be sending this kind of letter, that is only going originally to Republican members of the House, that they need to share whatever facts they claim to have with the American people, and that’s what I expect to happen.” It is unclear just how long the FBI’s investigation into these new emails will take. Contrary to what some pundits have alleged, however, the investigation has not been re-opened. These kinds of investigations never close; when new information surfaces, as has happened now, that intel is examined. “We have not been contacted by anyone. First we knew about it is I assume when you knew about it when this letter sent to Republican members of the House was released,” Clinton said during the press conference. “We don’t know the facts, which is why we are calling on the FBI to release all the information that it has; even Director Comey noted that this new information may not be significant, so let’s get it out.” The FBI ended its initial investigation into Clinton’s private email server in July. At the time, Comey recommended to the Justice Department that “no charges were appropriate” in the case. However, Comey acknowledged that there was “evidence of potential violations” in Clinton’s “extremely careless” handling of classified information. And the Winner is? View Poll » “I’m confident whatever they are will not change the conclusion reached in July,” Clinton said on Friday, adding: “Therefore, it’s imperative that the Bureau explain this issue in question whatever it is without any delay. “I look forward to moving forward to focus on the important challenges facing the American people, winning on November 8 and working with all Americans to build a better future for our country.” This issue being raised once again may cause some voters to distrust Hillary, a charge she responded to as follows: “I think a long time ago people made up their minds about the emails, I think that’s factored in to what people think and now they’re choosing a President … “So I would urge everybody to get out and vote early and all the states that have early voting because I think Americans want a President who can lead our country, who can get the economy working for everyone not just those at the top and who can bring our country together. “I offer that, I can do that and I’m confident that the American people know that and we’re going to continue to discuss what’s at stake in this election because I believe this election is one of the  consequential elections ever.” View Slideshow: Hillary Clinton: 7 Ways She’s Just Like Daenerys Targaryen

Duggar Family: Supporting Donald Trump While Condemning His Lifestyle?

It’s been a tough election season for voters of an evangelical stripe. Usually, the GOP serves up some Corinthians-quoting loaf of sentient Wonder Bread to ensure the support of non-millionaires who are kept up nights by the thought of married gay couples barging into their homes, confiscating their guns, and using the weapons to force pregnant women into abortion clinics. This year, however, Republicans threw their base a big orange curveball that wants to grope every part of your strike zone: Soon after it became apparent that he had a real chance to shock the world (and himself) by securing his party’s nomination, Donald Trump began to court evangelicals by paying lip service to traditional conservative Christian beliefs. It was a tough sell from the start, and it became even more difficult to convince voters that this foulmouthed, thrice-married billionaire is a champion of family values once his ” grab ’em by the p–sy ” policy became public knowledge. One family who seems a bit torn by the conflict between Trump’s campaign promises and every single other thing about the man is reality TV’s Duggar clan. You might know them from 19 Kids and Counting , the Josh Duggar sex scandals, or their ongoing post-scandal replacement series, the bafflingly-titled, Counting On . No one who has anything other than 1,700 versions of the Bible on their Kindle has ever had that many kids (fact, we looked it up), so needless to say, the Duggars are quite conservative on social matters. But Donald Trump has been accused of groping a porn star and he tweets about sex tapes at 3 am . Endorsing him isn’t exactly a great look for a family that’s still coping with the fallout of its own recent sex scandal. But if you thought that would stop the Dugz from throwing support behind the Cheeto-fingered predator their party nominated, you don’t know the American political climate in 2016. We already knew that Duggar son-in-law Derick Dillard would be voting for Trump . Now, it seems the rest of the family has also reluctantly decided to back the Donald – but they’ve decided to continue to let Der do the talking. The Duggars have close ties to both Mike Huckabee and Ted Cruz, both of whom previously opposed Trump’s run for office, but have since expressed their support for the human throbbing forehead vein of American politics. Insiders say the Duggars have followed suit, but will continue to have Derick do the talking, so as not to alienate members of their ever-shrinking audience who actually hold the beliefs that the Duggars adhere to when it’s convenient. “Voting for Trump doesn’t = condoning his lifestyle. It just means agreeing with more of his policies than Clinton’s,” Derick tweeted earlier this week… …as though we’ve suddenly been plunged into the heart of a bizarro land where evangelical voters suddenly don’t care about the perceived moral failings of their elected officials. Sources say the other Duggars have privately echoed Derick’s sentiments, but their beliefs have more to do with maintaining hard-earned political alliances than with their belief in Trump as a candidate. However, there’s one member of the extended Duggar clan who seems more than a bit troubled by the possibility of a Trump presidency: Jessa Duggar’s husband, Ben Seewald. In recent weeks, Seewald has expressed support for the Black Lives Matter movement , told white Christians to “wake up” with regard to racial injustice in America, and publicly shared his doubts about Trump’s fitness to hold the highest office in the land: “Trump’s 2005 remarks about women is completely contrary to everything that we believe in as Christians,” Seewald recently tweeted, demonstrating both a willingness to think for himself and a poor understanding of subject-verb agreement. He later added: “Evangelicals don’t trust Clinton with SCOTUS or executive orders and Trump with nuclear codes or our wives.” View Slideshow: 17 Celebrities Who Actually Support Donald Trump So it remains unclear who Seewald will vote for, but he’s clearly no great fan of Trump’s. Reached for comment, we imagine Trump would say that he’s happy to have the Duggars’ support. Not because they’re influential conservative Christians, but because Omarosa convinced him he had the reality star bloc locked up, but he has his doubts since losing the Kimye vote.

Megyn Kelly DESTROYS Newt Gingrich in Argument Over Donald Trump, Sex

There have been many losers to come out of the 2016 Presidential Election. Most specifically, Donald Trump and… well… anyone who continues to stand up for Donald Trump. But there’s been one clear winner from the past several months of campaigning; and we’re not even talking about Hillary Clinton, no matter what is likely to transpire on November 8. We’re talking about Megyn Kelly. Kelly called Trump out on his misogyny from the very beginning. All those people who acted shocked and appalled over what Trump said to Billy Bush in that notorious Access Hollywood video?  All those politicians who came out and castigated Trump for his demeaning words about women and his implied sexual assault? Please. Literally, the very first question asked of Trump at a Republican Primary Debate was over the way he has treated women and talked about women in the past. And that question was asked by Kelly. From there, of course, Trump slammed Kelly at every turn, even questioning at one point whether or not she was on her period at the debate. Really. He said that. So this brings us to Tuesday night and Kelly having Newt Gingrich on her Fox News program as a guest. The former Speaker of the House took issue with the way Kelly and other members of the media have been covering the campaign, arguing that too much time has been spent focusing on Trump’s sexual harassment allegations. The tension-filled segment started with Kelly explaining why Trump is behind in the polls, citing that 2005 Access Hollywood tape and Trump lashing out at nearly every woman who has made allegations about him. People have a right to hear those charges, she argues in the footage below. Megyn Kelly vs. Newt Gingrich “I’m sick and tired of people like you using language that’s inflammatory that’s not true!” Gingrich blew up, referring to the term sexual predator being applied to Trump. “When you use the words, you took a position. And I think it’s very unfair of you to do that, Megyn!” Gingrich said. To which Kelly calmly replied: “Your defensiveness on this may speak volumes, sir.” At one point, after Kelly acknowledged that Bill Clinton has an unsavory history with women and that her show has covered it in detail, Gingrich snapped as follows: “You wanna go back through the tapes of your show recently? You are fascinated with sex and you don’t care about public policy!” It’s worth watching the video above just to see Kelly’s priceless response to this accusation. After Gingrich continued to sound like a little child, challenging Kelly to say the words “Bill Clinton sexual predator,” the host somehow kept her chill demeanor and ended the segment by politely saying: “You can take your anger issues and spend some time working on them.” It. Was. AWESOME! Check out the clip above and weigh in: Who do you think won this faceoff? Kelly or Gingrich? Or, as has so often been the case throughout this election, are we all losers in the end?

Khloe Kardashian: Koncerned About Scott Disick!

Keeping Up with the Kardashians returns this Sunday. And it does so at a pretty strange time for the series. In case your Internet has been broken, your TV destroyed and your phone lost, Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris this month. She was forced to beg and scream for her life in a truly harrowing situation. As a result, there’s been talk that the show won’t actually go on. Kim is yet to make a public appearance or a public comment regarding this frightening incident, while multiple sources have wondered whether  Keeping Up with the Kardashians will be canceled in light of the crime and Kim’s understandable response. We highly doubt that will happen. But either way, it’s a bit off for the show to come back on October 23 with new episodes, none of which will mention the scary elephant in the room. Because the reality show films several weeks ahead of its air dates, Kardashian’s robbery hadn’t even taken place in the timeline of the program when viewers watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online or on TV next week. Like we said: it’s pretty strange. But that doesn’t mean we aren’t curious about what will transpire on air, with the first clip from Sunday’s return episode featuring Khloe and Scott Disick. Always close friends, Disick is opening up in the following scene about how much time he has until he sees Kourtney Kardashian and the kids again. “You know this is gonna be like the longest I’m away from Kourt and the kids…ever,” Scott tells Khloe, referring to a month-long excursion Kourtney has taken Mason, Penelope and Reign on. “How do you feel?” Khloe asks. Disick then shows some surprising vulnerability, admitting that he’s “kinda anxious” and saying he wants to “book” his time and possibly do some appearances so he doesn’t “think about missing the kids and Kourtney.” (We’re guessing the money he rakes in off those appearances don’t hurt, either.) “But are you gonna be on your best behavior?” Khloe inquires. “Worst,” Disick responds, in jest (we assume). CHECK OUT THE CLIP BELOW: Keeping Up with the Kardashians Clip: Concern for Scott “Just make sure you’re doing whatever you think is best,” Khloe ends up responding, which is a scary prospect. We don’t exactly trust the judgment of Scott Disick. Kardashian later confesses that she’s “worried” about Disicik, but we can calm her fears. We can talk to her from the future. Again, because this scene was actually taped a long time ago, we can assure Khloe that Scott ends up being just fine. There’s no cause for concern. Watch the scene above and then chime in below: With what Kim Kardashian has gone through, should the show continue? Or should E! just go ahead and pull the plug? Bigly or Big League? The True Debate Rages On

Donald Trump battled Hillary Clinton on stage at the third Presidential debate on Wednesday night. Among the many topics discussed? What each candidate looks for in a Supreme Court Justice… what each candidate will do about Syrian refugees… whether or not Donald Trump is a sexual predator… Clinton’s controversial emails… and, of course, the most important issue of them all: Whether or not Trump emphasizes certain plans or actions as “Bigly” or “Big League.” Okay, granted. This was not discussed on the debate stage last night. But it was discussed on Twitter. Bigly. Or big league. One or the other. It was discussed a lot, is what we’re saying. By the middle of the televised back-and-forth, in fact, the top Google trend was not immigration or tax cuts or Donald Trump claims to respect women more than anyone on the planet, LOL … it was bigly . There was amply of talk about the pronunciation of this term on social media. To wit: Is Trump raising the bar on a vocabulary that typically includes just the words huge , wrong and #MAGA ? Not according to a Trump spokesperson who spoke to People Magazine during the debate. This campaign source said that the Republican presidential nominee is, in fact, pronouncing “big league.” He’s just doing it in a weird way, we guess. Which wouldn’t exactly be a first for Trump. You have heard how he says the country “China,” right? Just ask Alec Baldwin to explain it to you if not. However, Trump’s very own Twitter account appears to back up this claim by the anonymous People source. As part of his barrage of post-debate Tweets following the ugly debate last night, he wrote the following: (For the record, “bigly” actually is a word. It means “with great force.”) So there we have it. Maybe. Trump hasn’t exactly made himself into a modicum of truth-telling over the past year or so. You may not believe this, but not everything he says on social media is based in fact. So we want YOU, the loyal THG reader, to chime in.
