Expect those American Idol judging rumors to only grow louder now. Appearing this morning on The Today Show , Jennifer Lopez was asked about her status on the Fox smash and told Natalie Morales: “I love everybody, I love the guys [Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and host Ryan Seacrest], but I am thinking it’s time for me to go and do other things I love to do like films.” This isn’t the first time that J. Lo has hinted at a departure, though it was seen as a contract negotiation a year ago. However, following a disappointing ratings season, producers may want to go in a wholly different direction on Season 12. Potential replacement, according to recent chatter, include Adam Lambert , Miley Cyrus… and Charlie Sheen ? Do you want to see Jennifer Lopez as a judge next season?
Mike is not done working his magic by a long shot. With the web buzzing over a possible Magic Mike 2 , the hit film’s star Channing Tatum took to Twitter this week to address the rumors … and confirmed them! “Yes yes and yes! We’re working on the concept now. We want to flip the script and make it bigger,” he writes, possibly waiting for your obvious punchline. Because it’s ostensibly a male stripper movie, Magic Mike was something of a surprise hit with critics and fans alike, banking $39 million in one weekend. Tatum has received rave reviews, and there’s even been some Oscar talk – and not unwarranted – surrounding supporting actor Matthew McConaughey. Where would a sequel take the stripper and his cohorts? Have you seen the original, and would you be excited for a Magic Mike 2? Tell us below!

Actor Robert Blake accused CNN’s Piers Morgan of calling him a liar and much more in a combative, profanity-laced interview Wednesday night. Blake, 78, said he agreed to appear on Morgan’s program to promote his self-published memoir Tales Of A Rascal , but a different topic came up. Blake was acquitted in 2005 in connection with the murder of his wife Bonnie Lee Bakley, though he was found liable in a wrongful death lawsuit.

President Obama Buys Five Million Dollars In Olympic Campaign Ads via CNN While Mitt Romney is expected to be a spectator at this summer’s Olympic Games, those watching from home may see President Barack Obama, thanks to a large ad buy. Obama’s reelection campaign has bought $5.5 million of U.S. national advertising time for the London games, a Republican ad buying source told CNN. The time is on the networks of NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, Bravo, and NBC Sports Net, according to the source. The New York Times was first to report the buy and that it was $5.5 million. Obama and Sen. John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaigns each spent several million dollars advertizing during the 2008 Olympic games.
We heard it’s nice this time of year in hell Jerry Sandusky was put on suicide watch after being found guilty of 45 criminal charges related to the sexual assault of 10 boys over a 15 year period. Sandusky, 68, was put in protective custody in an area separate from other inmates as he waits for his sentencing, CNN reported. He will be under close watch until that hearing. In addition, Sandusky’s defense team announced plans to appeal the verdict that will likely put the former Penn State assistant football coach in jail for the rest of his life. Sandusky was convicted Friday of 45 of 48 counts related to the abuse, after two days of jury deliberation. Those close to him — even his attorney — were almost certain the man would be convicted. They should just release him into the general prison population. End of problem. Source
Oh, you thought he was some kind of punk??? Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeit Anderson Cooper Snaps At Picture Taking Fan On Airplane Note to fans: do not bother Anderson Cooper when he is trying to get some sleep. During an appearance on Kathy Griffin’s new Bravo talk show “Kathy” Thursday night, the silver-haired news anchor recalled a story about his recent run-in with a sneaky fan during a 6 a.m. flight this week. Cooper, 45, said he was trying to get some rest aboard the New York-to-Los Angeles flight when he noticed the man seated in front of him trying to snap some photos of Cooper using his iPhone’s front-facing camera. “I’m sitting there incredulous that he thinks I don’t see him … and he’s still taking the pictures,” Cooper said. “Normally I would just be like, ‘We’re not going to win this one,’ but I’ve lately become emboldened.” In a surprising twist, Cooper said Olympic figure skating champion Johnny Weir was coincidently sitting next to him on the flight. “I grab the guy on the shoulder, and I said something to the effect of, ‘B—h, what the f— are you doing?’” Cooper said to a shocked Griffin. Despite his burst of boldness, the CNN anchor seemed embarrassed by his surprising reaction. “It was one of those things, as soon as I said it, I was like, ‘I can’t believe I said this to this guy,’” he concluded. Wepa!!! President Obama Announces New Policy To Stop Deportation Of Illegal Immigrants In a scene unfolding in many Latino communities throughout the country, the graduation ceremony at Garcia High School in Chicago was especially celebratory Saturday: 20 percent of the graduating seniors are illegal immigrants who can now put their education to use with work permits authorized by President Obama’s new immigration rules. “What the president did this week was an amazing gift to me and other students who are undocumented,” graduating senior Andrea Labra, 18, told CNN. “It’s just an emotional thing to have the same opportunities that other students have and that we didn’t have just because we didn’t have papers,” added Labra, who was born in Mexico and came to the United States at age 5 with her family. For the class of 2012, the routine tossing of mortarboards in the air was more emotional than anticipated, said classmate Rodrigo Espinoza, 18, who’s also an undocumented immigrant from Mexico. His family brought him to the United States when he was 3 months old. “It’s so unexpected,” Espinoza said of Obama’s executive order, announced Friday. “It’s like a dream. I can finally do something with my life now.” Espinoza is going to study bio-engineering on a scholarship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He wants to find a cure for cancer, he said. “I’m determined to do it now that I have a chance to do it,” said Espinoza, who will be the first one in his family to go to college. As an honors graduate, a yellow sash topped his blue cap and gown. “This is going to change my life. It was a life-changing experience for all of us and for my family,” he added about the new immigration rules announced Friday. Juan Rangel, the leader of Chicago’s largest Hispanic advocacy organization that runs Hector P. Garcia High and 10 other city charter schools, said the White House announcement was “a high note for the graduating ceremony.” Ol’ Barry O is pushing the right buttons to get those votes as we get closer to the election. Your move “Money Makin” Mitt… Hit the flip to find out exactly what the POTUS’ new executive order means for these hard-working immigrant students. Source Image via AP
