Former White House pest and Bravo reality star Michaele Salahi claims that someone’s been stalking her and making death threats in recent weeks. Her husband, Tareq Salahi, even placed a frantic 911 call for her protection. Maybe the stalker just wanted to see Michaele Salahi in Playboy and is pissed that this is no longer in the cards? We kid. Although you never know. The Salahis say that the threat-maker called the Sheriff’s Dept. in Fauquier County, Va., falsely claiming Tareq broke into a winery co-owned by Tareq’s family. Deputies tell us they found no evidence of a break-in, but were called backwhen Tareq and Michaele found out the call came from the alleged stalker . The Salahis filed a police report and the case is now under investigation. The couple is also seeking to have a protective order put into place ASAP. According to the Salahis, the man has also been tailing Michaele, shooting photos and video and also sending death threats and obscene messages.
It’s really over for Leah Messer and Corey Simms . That much has been established at this point. It’s just a question of why, and what will happen to the couple’s poor little twin girls in the aftermath of the split. OK! reports that shaking hands, Leah Messer lit a cigarette to stop herself from crying as she read her husband Corey’s Facebook flirtation with another girl. “I haven’t been this happy in a long time,” the message read. The words broke Leah’s heart, and tears streamed down her face as her friend Kayla tried to comfort her – even though she had already filed for divorce days earlier. Just the same, the Teen Mom 2 star is having a hard time facing the fact that her six-month marriage to Corey, the father of her twins, Ali and Aleeah, is over. The battle between the young couple is about to get uglier, with Corey expected to ask for sole custody, and Corey’s parents prepared to help him financially. Apparently there are “explosive secrets” that will determine who gets the girls, and according to fellow celebrity news magazine In Touch , abuse allegations. Weird Al Yankovic, whose career comprised of parodying hit songs has lasted longer and been more lucrative than many of his subjects, has released a new gem. “Perform This Way” is Al’s take on Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way,” and includes plenty of the satirical lyrical wordplay that are Yankovic’s hilarious trademarks. Its release follows myriad reports that Gaga blocked the parody – which she can’t even do, legally, but Al always gets permission from the stars in good faith. In any case, Gaga’s manager nixed it without telling her. Word got back to Gaga, who was not pleased. The manager is sorry. Gaga loves it. Everyone is happy. Video of Michael Jackson’s last two rehearsals for his 2009 “This Is It” tour could be played in court during Dr. Conrad Murray’s manslaughter trial. The L.A. County District Attorney filed a motion today asking the judge to allow the rehearsal footage from June 23-24 to be entered as evidence. The D.A. believes the footage supports the testimony from “This Is It” director Kenny Ortega that Michael was “happy and excited for the future.” Michael Jackson Tour Rehearsal It also opposes the defense’s theory that after the last rehearsal, MJ became desperate and “took desperate measures that caused his own death .” The D.A. also filed a motion to allow limited photos from MJ’s autopsy, claiming the pictures are not gory or gruesome and won’t prejudice a jury.
Kendra Wilkinson failed to impress again on Dancing With the Stars, finishing tied for last Monday (albeit with two other couples, and a decent score). Decked out like a figure on a Fourth of July cake, the E! star looked less than inspired and more like she was simply trying to get through the foxtrot. She’s an amateur, of course, so no one expects her to be perfect. But you wonder if she’s still hurting from last week, after which she said she felt belittled and embarrassed by Carrie Ann Inaba. Pauly D is close to joining forces with G-Unit, 50 Cent’s label, as 50 desperately wants to sign the Jersey Shore star and has offered a three-album deal. In a sign of the apocalypse – but not one you can really get upset about ’cause c’mon, who doesn’t love Pauly D – the two sides are nearing a contract . The Jersey Shore pimp/DJ met with Fiddy and his people in NYC last week, where they discussed the lucrative record deal and a Pauly D merchandise line. Specifically, Pauly D-brand headphones, obviously. Nothing’s signed yet,but according to sources, 50 wants to hammer out the deal ASAP before Pauly jets off to shoot Jersey Shore Season 4 in Italy . Rihanna changed up her look yet again last night on American Idol, going back to long red curly locks after a week or so of wearing her hair much, much shorter. The 23-year-old singer showed her latest look as she performed her new single, “California King Bed” live. She started the song softly, tantalizing fans. As her dancers pulled down white draping onto the stage floor and into the crowd, Rihanna was eventually revealed and really ramped up the performance.
