My name is Belen and I’m from Uruguay. I’ve always…

My name is Belen and I’m from Uruguay. I’ve always wanted to go to a Justin Bieber concert and I always said that when Justin came to Argentina I would go to his show. I saved money to get front row tickets, I saved for over 1 year. I was planning on going with a friend of mine that is a huge fan too. I became a member of BieberFever so I could buy pre-sale tickets and maybe try to win meets & greets, but when they announced when tickets would go on sale, my friend said she wouldn’t come with me, so I ended up with no tickets. I was honestly devastated, it was my dream to go to one of his concerts and I even had saved enough money to buy front row tickets. One day my friend (that was coming to the show with me but cancelled) called me and told me she was going to see Justin with her mother, she had family in Argentina and they had bought those 2 tickets. I couldnt believe it, she was going with her mum and I wasn’t going, I felt so betrayed. So I didn’t know I was going to his concert until a few days before the show! I saw that a company was selling tickets for the 2nd date in Argentina. They were expensive but I really wanted to get them, it was my chance! I asked my mum but again I didn’t have anyone to come with me. I asked my cousin (30 years old) and she said she would ask her boss. I had written a rap with a friend for Justin a few months before, so I decided I would record myself rapping it and send it to BieberFever to try to win meets & greets. My cousin called me and told me she would come with me to the show! I started crying, I called my dad to tell him to buy the tickets as soon as possible, I called my brothers, my mum my friends, everyone! The show was in less than a week! My parents book a hotel room (the cheapest of course, just for 1 night), the buquebus and the tickets. All of this 3 days before the show.. it was crazy! I then saw I had an email from BieberFever. I opened it and it said that I HAD WON MEETS & GREETS to meet Justin! The next day I woke up at 6am to take the ship to go to Argentina with my cousin. When we were waiting in line for the m&g, everyone was freaking out and crying before getting in, but I was relaxed. I couldn’t believe I was going to meet my idol in a few minutes. I then saw ALFREDO FLORES walking past us and everyone said hi but didn’t pay him much attention. I wanted to actually talk to him, so I waited for him to come back and I walked up to him and told him I was from Uruguay. I asked him for a picture he said of course. Then it was time.  THERE HE WAS, MY IDOL, JUSTIN BIEBER, TOUCHING HIS HAIR AND LOOKING HOT. I hugged him and he kissed my cheek. I told him I had written a rap for him and he looked at me and said, “REALLY? THANK YOU SO MUCH”. I gave it to him and a letter I had written for him and he put it in his back pocket of his jeans. Kenny told us to look to the camera and smile (I was already smiling obviously) Then Justin told us, “THANK YOU SO MUCH, ENJOY THE SHOW!” I hugged him and we had to leave , as soon as I left the room I started shaking and crying. I couldn’t believe that had just happened. I waited ousite for the rest of the girls to finish and Alfredo was filming/taking pictures of me while I was crying . I hid my face cause it was embarrassing so he HUGGED me, he was so cute! The show was AMAZING, Justin killed it! To conclude, October 13th 2011 was the best day of my life.  More: My name is Belen and I’m from Uruguay. I’ve always…

Lana Del Rey and Axl Rose: New Couple Alert?

Guns & Video Games? Singing sensation Lana Del Rey, 25, has sparked speculation about her love life again after leaving Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont hotel with Axl Rose, 50. The singer has sent celebrity gossip publications into a frenzy, or at least a state of confusion, after leaving the hotel and driving off in an SUV with Rose: The sighting came just two weeks after Del Rey was romantically linked to Marilyn Manson after they were seen together in a hotel in Berlin, Germany. Yeah, apparently that happened. She has a type, for better or for worse. Del Rey is believed to be a big time fan of Guns N’ Roses, Axl’s band. The singer perhaps best known for her SNL “Video Games” performance attended two of their concerts last month and even recorded a track called “Axl Rose Husband” before attaining fame. So it’s like life imitating art or something. [Photo: Pacific Coast News]

Katy Perry To Join Ranks Of Pop Stars Turned Big-Screen Stars

Before ‘Part Of Me’ is released, MTV News takes a look back at recent concert flicks from fellow pop stars like Justin Bieber. By Jocelyn Vena Katy Perry Photo: Getty Images This summer, Katy Perry will be taking fans on a candy-coated, 3-D adventure when she drops her first-ever 3-D concert flick , “Part Of Me.” After rumors hit the Web earlier this year that the pop singer was in talks to bring her brand of cotton-candy eye candy to a theater near you, on Wednesday, MTV News confirmed that the flick, named after her current Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection single, will be the latest spectacle to hit the cineplex. Over the last few years, it has become quite popular for pop stars to film their concerts and bring them to theaters in 3-D. Perry now joins the ranks of “Glee,” Miley Cyrus (and her alter-ego Hannah Montana), the Jonas Brothers, Michael Jackson, and, of course, Justin Bieber. So, in the end, did those movies live up to the hype? Glee: The 3D Concert Movie Released in August 2011, the “Glee” concert movie opened to lots of promotion and hype. Given all the buzz and fandom around the TV show, it seemed poised for big-screen success. However, after a disappointing first week at the box office, which grossed just $5.7 million and landed it 11th place that week. In the end, the flick earned just under $12 million domestically. Justin Bieber: Never Say Never Justin Bieber hit box-office gold with his part biopic/ part concert flick. The Jon Chu-directed film serves as the gold standard of 3-D concert film releases busting records and raking in tons of dough. Opening over Valentine’s Day weekend in 2011, in its opening day it made $12.4 million and nabbed $29.5 million in its opening weekend. Currently it holds several U.S. records by the end of its theater run, including being the highest-grossing concert movie since 1984 and the third-highest-grossing documentary since 1982. It probably didn’t hurt that weeks after the first release, Paramount also dropped “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never – Director’s Fan Cut” to give fans even more Bieber for their pleasure. Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert The film, released at the height of Hannah Montana fandom, grossed a whopping $31.1 million in its one-week, limited-engagement run in February 2008. With a budget of $7 million, it eventually went on to gross $70 million worldwide. As if that wasn’t enough success surrounding it, months later, when it premiered on Disney in July, it averaged 5.9 million viewers, and another viewing later that month averaged 20.6 million viewers. Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience In early 2009, the Jonas Brothers went on the road , flying around the country to special screenings of their 3-D flick to get fans hyped for the release. Filmed during their 2008 tour, it also featured cameos from their superstar pals Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato, as well as eye-catching renditions of their biggest hits. However, in the end, while it didn’t do terribly (it made $19.1 million domestically), it also didn’t live up to expectations. Michael Jackson: This Is It Released posthumously in 2009, “This Is It” documents the rehearsals that went into what would have been Jackson’s great return to the stage. Directed by Kenny Ortega, it was released in October 2009 and gave Jackson’s fans a final glimpse at the star, just days before he passed away in June 2009. The flick raked in $72 million domestically and $261 million worldwide. Are you planning on seeing “Part of Me” in theaters? Let us know in the comments section! Dancing With the Stars Spring 2012 Cast: Revealed!

Jack Wagner, Sherri Shepherd, Maria Menounos, Gavin DeGraw and Melissa Gilbert are among those competing on Dancing With the Stars this spring. A pair of sports stars – Green Bay Packers wideout Donald Driver and tennis legend Martina Navratilova – will also be lacing up their dancing shoes. Perhaps more importantly, Maksim Chmerkovskiy says he’ll be back! DeGraw is up for some serious double duty, as he will also continue his current U.S. tour for the first few weeks of the season, if he can last that long. Gavin’s pro partner, Karina Smirnoff, will most likely join him on tour so they can practice, but none of his concerts conflict with DWTS air dates. Wagner, Heather Locklear’s ex, will compete amid a minor scandal, while Menounos and Shepherd represent the entertainment show contingent. Here’s the full Dancing With the Stars cast for this spring: Jack Wagner, Melrose Place/Bold and the Beautiful star (Partner: TBA) Melissa Gilbert, Little House on the Prairie actress (Partner: Maksim Chmerkovisky) Donald Driver, NFL star (Partner: TBA) William Levy, telenova actor (Partner: TBA) Gladys Knight, music legend (Partner: TBA) Jaleel White, Family Matters child star (Partner: Kym Johnson) Martina Navratilova, tennis legend (Partner: TBA) Roshon Fegan, Disney Channel star (Professional partner: TBA) Maria Menounos, Extra co-host (Partner: Derek Hough) Sherri Shepherd, View co-host (Partner: TBA) Katherine Jenkins, opera singer (Partner: TBA) Gavin Degraw, rock singer (Partner: Karina Smirnoff)

Mac Miller Takes Us Backstage For Pittsburgh Homecoming

‘Last night was like my first real Pittsburgh show where I’m somebody now,’ MC told MTV News back in December. By Rob Markman Mac Miller Photo: MTV News Mac Miller wasn’t always this popular, and his concerts weren’t always quite so packed. “I performed for five people at a ‘hood-ass club, and no one looked at me,” Mac recalled of one of his earliest shows as a teen in Pittsburgh. “They were like, ‘Who’s this little-ass white kid?’ ” How times have changed. On December 9, the Blue Slide Park MC returned to his hometown to perform a pair of sold-out shows at Stage AE, with a gang of hits and a #1 album under his belt and a legion of new fans. A year prior, in December 2010, he opened for Rostrum Records labelmate and buddy Wiz Khalifa at the same venue, but for Mac, things didn’t go so well. “I was opening for Wiz at Stage AE, like, the same exact show, his homecoming,” Mac remembered. “I actually had just came off my first little tour. I did, like, a two-week run, and I lost my voice on it. So I did both those Pittsburgh shows with no voice, and I sounded like sh–.” Mac Miller returns to Pittsburgh’s Blue Slide Park. Mac’s voice wasn’t a problem during his concerts in December. Before the first show, anxious concertgoers chanted, “We want Mac, we want Mac,” as the now 20-year old MC made his way from his backstage dressing room to the stage, where he led a prayer circle with his Most Dope crew right before the curtains opened. Miller ran through crowd favorites like “Best Day Ever,” “Knock, Knock,” “Donald Trump” and “Party on Fifth Ave.” The crowd jumped-up, pumped their fists and sang along all night throughout both shows — then again that’s the standard for a Mac Miller concert. But even the slow and personal “Missed Calls” from his BSP album got a nice reaction, which to the young MC proved that his music is really connecting with his audience. “I’m like the fun rapper, right? Me, Mac Miller, the symbol of fun, but when I do ‘Missed Calls,’ it’s like cool, good music,” he told MTV News backstage after his December 9 show. “It’s dope to see that vibe in the room of people just enjoying a song that’s not about fun, that’s not a party anthem, that’s just a song about some real sh– that I made about a relationship.” It’s his favorite song on the album, by the way. Wiz Khalifa motivates Pittsburgh’s up-and-coming artists. For Mac, going back to the ‘Burgh was a high like no other. “Last night was like my first real Pittsburgh show where I’m somebody now,” he said December 10 as he took MTV News on a tour through his beloved Blue Slide Park. “I just wanted to say ‘Pittsburgh’ over and over again — not to get the crowd hyped, but to able to say that, man. I was home. I’m home, and there’s 3,000 people rockin’ with me.” Stick with MTV News all week as Mac Miller takes us back to the ‘Burgh and spotlights the city’s vibrant hip-hop scene. Then tune into RapFix Live” today at 4 p.m. on MTV.com for exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from Mac’s hometown shows. Related Videos Back To The ‘Burgh With Mac Miller And Wiz Khalifa

Best Live MTV Performances Of 2011

You — the fans — voted for your favorite performances of the year, from VMA spectacles to Buzzworthy sets. By MTV News staff Beyonce performs at the 2011 VMAs Photo: Getty Images As we continue our weeklong look back on the year in music — MTV kicked things off on Monday with a list of the Best EDM Artists of 2011 — it was hard not to notice that the biggest stars in pop, rock and hip-hop put on some of their most buzzed-about performances — right on our stages. From Adele’s spine-tingling ballad at the VMAs to Two Door Cinema Club’s rendition of the rollicking “What You Know” at Webster Hall, we culled 16 of the best performances of the last 12 months and you, the fans, voted for your favorites. Here, we present #10 to #3. Stay with us as we reveal who walked away with the top spots at 4:59 p.m. ET on MTV! 10. Odd Future, “Sandwitches,” mtvU Woodie Awards Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All Loiter Squad, or Odd Future, for short, were one of this year’s breakthrough acts. And when they hit the stage for this year’s mtvU Woodie Awards, it was clear why. The performance started out tame enough. Tyler, the Creator’s “Yonkers” kicked in and a little person impersonating Tyler approached the stage. The calm didn’t last long, though, as the real Wolf Haley emerged and confronted the pint-size imposter. From that moment on, the raw, rambunctious, rabid energy that got OF noticed took over as Tyler, Hodgy Beats and the rest of the group launched into an unforgettable performance of “Sandwitches.” — Steven Roberts 9. Adele, “Someone Like You,” VMAs Some artists surround themselves with dozens of dancers, seizure-inducing banks of flashing lights and other tricks when they take the stage. But when it comes to Adele’s take on the heartbreaking second single from 21 at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, all it took was a grand piano, a single spotlight and some emotive hand gestures. Perfect. — Gil Kaufman 8. Jack’s Mannequin, “Release Me,” Buzzworthy Live It doesn’t get much more epic than a stripped-down performance right above Times Square. Andrew McMahon of Jack’s Mannequin did exactly that with his ode to growing up and settling down, “Release Me,” for Buzzworthy ‘s special live series. It’s just McMahon, his shades and a piano, and we don’t need much else. — Kevin P. Sullivan 7. Chris Brown, “Yeah 3X/ Beautiful People,” VMAs The white suit, the swagger, the strobing VMA stage and some gravity-defying aerial tricks are what defined Breezy’s jaw-dropping dance clinic at this year’s VMAs. His high-stepping kung fu waltz through Wu-Tang Clan, head-banging ode to Nirvana and mid-air flips again showed that Brown is at his best on an awards-show stage. — G.K. 6. Lil Wayne, “Nightmares of the Bottom,” MTV2 “Unplugged” For his MTV2 “Unplugged” debut in June, Birdman Jr. took the stage wearing a black sweatshirt, black sunglasses and a red fitted baseball cap. Backed by a full band, Wayne launched into his catalog of hits, taking the crowd to musical heights. But one highlight in particular was the MC’s premiere of “Nightmares of the Bottom,” an instant smash-in-the-making that details Wayne’s rise to the top and unwillingness to fail. — Rob Markman 5. Two Door Cinema Club, “What You Know,” New York To say it was a big year for Two Door Cinema Club, the indie-rock group out of Northern Ireland, would be an enormous understatement. The band toured the U.S. for the first time, opening for Tokyo Police Club, and debuted on the American alternative charts with “What You Know.” Two Door Cinema played the song at an MTV Hive -hosted performance at the Studio at Webster Hall. The screaming NYC fans seemed to approve. — K.S. 4. Beyonc

Baby, Baby, Baby?? Whoa! 20-Year-Old Woman Says Backstage Love Left Her With A Gut Full Of Bieber And They Now Have A Son

Yes, Justin Bieber. We KNEW that little boy was poking and stroking. Via RadarOnline : A 20-year-old California woman has filed a bombshell lawsuit against teen pop icon Justin Bieber alleging he is the father of her three-month-old baby boy, Star magazine is exclusively reporting in its new issue. Mariah Yeater is demanding the singer take a paternity test “to scientifically confirm” he is the father of the child, according to court papers obtained by Star. The papers were filed in late October and Yeater asks the court for Bieber “to provide adequate support for my baby.” In an affadavit signed under penalty of perjury Yeater says she was 19 years old when she had sex with the underage star backstage at one of his concerts in Los Angeles. Backstage? And you were more underage then her?? Dang, Bieber! Bieber’s reps have strenuously denied the accusations but a court hearing has been set for later this year. In a statement to RadarOnline.com, Bieber’s said: “While we haven’t yet seen the lawsuit, it’s sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations.” We’d like to think that this 20-year-old woman wouldn’t put herself out there like that if… Oh wait, Maury Povich has been making a living off of unsure women and their paternity tests for years, huh. Wonder how much she’s gonna get for the exclusive interview about her night (or nights) of getting that fever from Bieber. That should pay for at least one year of daycare.

Justin Bieber Leaves Tyler, The Creator ‘Starstruck’

Odd Future MC dreams of crafting a ’90s-R&B-style beat for JB. By Rob Markman Justin Bieber Photo: Kevin Mazur/ WireImage Justin Bieber fan. “I met Justin back in February. He’s a cool kid and sh–,” Tyler told MTV News. “When I got in there, he was talkin’ about the ‘Yonkers’ video and sh–. It was weird, because I was sitting here starstruck, like, ‘Oh, f—, it’s Bieber. He’s asking me questions.’ I’m like, ‘Shut the f— up so I can talk to you. ‘ ” The outspoken rapper/producer may not have been able to get a word in edgewise, but he isn’t deterred: He still has dreams of crafting a track for the Biebs. So is the OFWGKTA terror going pop? Not exactly. “I just want to make ’90s R&B, like break beats, hard drums with pretty chords and sh–,” Tyler said of the type of track he’d make for Justin. “I really want to do that. Like, I be listening to Brandy or the first three Mary J. [Blige] albums and sh– and Faith [Evans] and Zhan

Rihanna Gets Down A Dirty For Me

I love Rihanna as much as the next guy, she’s one of my hottest internet girlfriends, but I’m getting a little bored with shots of her shaking it during her concerts. Sure it’s nice to see her gyrating around in a sexual manner in flashy little costumes, but she’s becoming a one trick pony. I think it’s time she mixes it up a little, throw in a stripper pole or a couple of Thai prostitutes,…. Something along those lines. Maybe I’ve just become so desensitized to the whole thing that I don’t even notice it anymore, like homeless people or fat chicks.
