He might not really believe that filming a movie is akin to fighting in a war , but Tom Cruise will definitely be coming to a theater near you on Christmas Day. 2015, that is. Paramount Pictures announced this week that Mission: Impossible 5 will be released on December 25 of next year. Mission: Impossible 5 Confirmed! Cruise will return to the franchise as Ethan Hunt, while Christopher McQuarrie will direct the film and Drew Pearce will write it. The previous movie in this franchise, 2011’s Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol , earned very positive reviews, along with $694 million around the globe. Cyrus went on to talk about her unlikely friendship with Snoop Lion, with whom she recorded the song “Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,” telling Kimmel, “We’re more alike than you think … we’re very similar.” “That’s because he ‘s so high he doesn’t know what his name is,” joked the talk show host. “Me too, so it’s fine! Whitney Houston threw a “diva” tantrum by refusing to buckle up on a Delta flight in Atlanta yesterday. According to TMZ , Whitney pretty much flipped the bird to the flight attendant when she asked the singer to fasten her seat belt before departure. When Houston ignored the request, another flight attendant stepped in and told Whit that if she didn’t comply with FAA rules she would have to deplane the flight. Whitney’s rep said the singer “overreacted a little bit after missing an earlier flight but she’s still 100% sober and was on the way to Detroit for her first day of shooting a new movie.” And did you know that Ray J also moved to the ATL this weekend??? Hmmm…. The star received drug and alcohol treatment earlier this year in a bid to clean up her life.
