On August 8, ABC will kick off a new season of Bachelor in Paradise, gathering a handful of favorites (and villains) in the tropics for yet another shot at love. It’s only been eight months since Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney got married , but it seems the Teen Mom stars’ wedded bliss has already given way to the complexities of life in a blended family under the constant glare of the media magnifying glass. On last night’s episode of Teen Mom: OG , we learned that Maci and Taylor have entered marriage counseling. While that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re having serious relationship troubles, many fans have pointed out that there’s ample reason to believe that Maci and Taylor’s home life is less than ideal. For starters, there’s the revelation that it’s not unusual for Maci and Taylor to engage in drunken fights off camera . “Obviously, having three kids is catching up to us,” Maci told her friend Keelie in a scene from last night’s installment. “Eighty-five percent of the time, we’re good to go. The rest of the 15 percent, it’s hell. It’s like all of our stress and emotion and everything … we take it out on each other.” Bookout added: “When the cameras leave, we’ll drink and freak out. It’s always like, literally, the smallest things.” Maci didn’t go into specifics about what she meant by “freak out,” but the comment certainly didn’t paint a pretty picture. Fortunately, she and Taylor followed Keelie’s advice and sought counseling. Based on the comments she made to her therapist, it sounds like Maci allows the day-to-day pressures of her hectic life to build up , and then vents her frustrations after her tongue’s been loosened by a few Bud Lights: “All of the little things build up because neither of us ever communicate them,” Bookout told the couple’s counselor. “Then all of a sudden, we’re mad and we don’t even know why we’re mad.” She added: “To be honest with you, he could go the rest of our lives and never tell me ‘thank you’ or ‘you’re awesome.’ Just grab my ass every now and then and give me a kiss.” We’re sure the situation isn’t helped by recent issues involving Maci’s first baby daddy. Fans learned last week that Ryan Edwards has checked into rehab for unspecified substance abuse issues. Sources close to Maci say she’d been frequently breaking down in tears out of concern for her ex. So Ryan, Maci, and Taylor are all far from out of the woods, but the important thing is that they’re seeking the right kind of help, which considerably improves their chances of working through these issues. Amber Rose has a lot on her plate these days. She’s trying to end her feud with the Kardashians , but it looks like that may not be going so well thanks to rumors about Amber hooking up with James Harden …who happens to be dating Khloe Kardashian. On top of all that, she’s got the usual problems: career stress, coping with the fact that her ex-husband has a new girlfriend , being used as bait by an illegal prostitution ring that attempts to lure young women into sex work…Wait, what?! Yes, according to TMZ, the LAPD is investigating a case in which a company used this video of Amber to lure aspiring models to a paid photoshoot: Amber Rose FaceTime Video The video was edited in such a way as to make the women think that Amber was FaceTiming with them, but struggling with a bad connection. The company then encouraged the victims to come to a certain location, where they would meet Amber and pose for ads for her clothing line. Once they arrived, the women were allegedly coerced into participating in sex work. The women were even told that Amber would help them with their careers if they were willing to be “intimate” on “dates with rich guys.” Amber obviously had no idea that her name and likeness were being used in this way, and she’ll likely file suit once the criminal investigation is complete. As it turns out, Kim Kardashian does not always love being in the news. Not all publicity for this headline-generating reality star has been good publicity. Like the time Kim Kardashian lent her name to a line of cupcakes… and the time Kim Kardashian actually had her own credit card. 1. Kim’s Kupcakes Yes, Kardashian really did release her own line of cupcake mix in 2010 with the now-defunct brand Famous Cupcakes. One type was called “Va-Va-Va-Nilla,” which is really pretty awesome. We’re shocked this didn’t strike it big. 2. The Kardashian Kard This is what happens when alliteration goes too far. This prepaid debit card was slammed for its high fees and for the way it was marketed to young adults. 3. Kim Kan’t Sing It took a little while for Kim to understand her lane and to stay in it. It also took the release of this abysmal single. 4. She Tried to Act Kim won a Razzie due to her performance in Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor. It’s unclear whether Kardashian wants us to forget this more or Tyler Perry does. 5. She Played, and Lost, The Feud! In 2008, Kim and kompany competed on Celebrity Family Feud. They actually lost to Deion Sanders and his loved ones. 6. She Tried to Act, Vol. 2 Kim stopped by an episode of CSI: NY as Debbie, a woman whose fiance is accused of murder. Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner are currently in St. Bart’s with their famous family, enjoying the sun and the beach and doing what they do best: Taking inappropriate selfies! We know, we know: Kylie Jenner is now 18 years old, so how can any selfie be inappropriate? Just consider all Kylie can now legally do , right? Sure, kind of. Sort of. But just consider the message being sent here by Kylie and Kendall, who apparently don’t feel it’s important to even include their faces in this photo. “We woke up in paradise too,” Kylie captioned the image, although she might as well have just written: Hey! The Duggars have officially abandoned their attempt to bury the ugly details of the Josh Duggar molestation scandal . Instead, they’re now trying to cash in on it. First, the family announced its involvement in Breaking the Silence, a film about sex abuse victims starring Jill and Jessa Duggar . Now, the Duggars are reportedly hoping to return to television full-time with a series in which Michelle, Jim Bob, and their adult children would counsel victims of rape, molestation and incest. Insiders say that while all of the adult members of the family would be involved with the show, Jim Bob and Michelle would be doing the majority of the counseling. “They know they have to at least pretend to be sorry about what happened,” one source tells Star magazine. “Now they want a spin-off where Jim Bob and Michelle would give advice to abuse victims — even though they’re still in denial about their culpability in Josh’s crimes.” Thus far, no networks have expressed interest in the show. The insider says the Duggars are “kidding themselves” if they think TLC will give them another shot. Many execs who are no doubt enticed by the built-in audience that accompanies the Duggars wherever they go will likely be scared off by the fact that the new show sounds like a desperate, insincere cash grab. The Duggars have even taken asking fans for donations on a page promoting their YouTube channel.
