On early Friday morning, Reese Witherspoon was arrested for disorderly conduct after husband Jim Toth was stopped for drunk driving and she disobeyed officer directives to remain in her car. Soon afterward, the actress apologized , making it clear she was both remorseful and embarrassed over the incident. And a source now says Toth feels the same way. The CAA agent “feels awful that he involved Reese in the situation ,” an insider tells People . “He made a bad decision and it certainly made things worse that he dragged her into it. A second insider says the situation is “embarrassing” for Toth,” who will need to explain himself to his bosses at the country’s largest talent agency. The couple was pulled over after their Ford Fusion – with Toth behind the wheel – was spotted swerving between lanes. Toth then blew a .139 on his sobriety test, far above the legal limit in Georgia of .08. Does he have a drinking problem? “Jim has always been a big social drinker,” says one of these sources. “A lot of his job is being social. He’s out to lunch or dinner almost every day of the week, schmoozing clients and taking business meetings.” A third mole, meanwhile, says it’s conceivable Toth ends up in “rehab.” The couple is due in court on May 22.
Got H-Ron ? Macaulay Culkin has been over there acting up in the UK. Via Daily Mail reports : Actor and DJ Macaulay Culkin was reportedly ‘cursing and screaming’ as he left a Brighton night club in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The 32-year old had been attending a friend’s gig at The Haunt, but as he exited the venue he allegedly grew irate and launched himself at a waiting photographer. According to an eye-witness, the actor cursed at his target, telling him to ‘go to hell.’ Wearing the same outfit as the day earlier, Macaulay hid his face behind a pair of RayBan wayfarer sunglasses and a camouflage scarf. He could be seen grabbing a man while, the gentleman attempted to push the Richie Rich star back. Another man tried to restrain Culkin, but he continued to launch himself at the photographer. Onlookers then watched Culkin jump into a waiting van, transporting his friends Adam Green and Binki Shapiro. Those already in the vehicle did not react as their American companion aggressively made his way inside. At approximately 1.30am, Macaulay arrived at the Ibis hotel, covering his face with his scarf until he was safely inside the lobby. Mail Online have contacted Culkin’s representatives for comment. The reason for Macaulay’s outburst is unknown, and is the first of its kind since he arrived in the UK to join his friend Adam Green on tour. Coincidentally, his ex-girlfriend Mila Kunis is also in the country, filming Jupiter Ascending, although it is not known if any contact was made between the pair. The former child star has travelled to Manchester, London and Bristol already with the musicians, and even joined the band onstage at the latter to perform a Beach Boys cover. However in London, a fellow club-goer saw Culkin looking rather worse for wear, and even mistook him for a homeless man. Student Marley Spindler met Culkin outside The Village Undeground, in the early hours, telling Radar Online: ‘We chatted for about five minutes and he said he was in London seeing friends though he was vacant, speaking very quietly and mellow. He looked spaced out.’ ‘I didn’t recognize him at first — I thought it was some homeless guy who was scrounging a smoke.’ SMH. Jacko is probably rolling over in his grave right now. LeAnn Rimes may have lost a ton of weight but the country singer claims it’s not because of anorexia or any other eating disorder – just extreme tiredness. The 30-year-old, who checked into a treatment last August to deal with “stress and anxiety,” has opened up about her drastic weight loss since 2011. “People said I was [anorexic], but I didn’t have a problem with eating . I ate a ton all the time. I could eat my husband under the table!” she tells The Daily Mail . “But I was going through a time when I just wasn’t sleeping,” she adds. “My mind wouldn’t shut off and my heart was breaking.” LeAnn says she is feeling much healthier these days than at her worst, and has a new sense of self-confidence, which she owes in part to her husband. “But it’s nice to have a husband who tells you you’re beautiful all the time,” she says of Eddie Cibrian. “I’ll say, ‘I’ve gained a few pounds,’ and he’ll say, ‘Good!’ “It just gives you another level of confidence. Kim Kardashian had a small, pointless, and horribly-acted role in one of our least favorite movies this year (read our Temptation review to find out why we hated it so very much). But that doesn’t mean she still can’t present a movie award, right? As long as she doesn’t win one, we’re cool. Kim Kardashian has been added as a presenter at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, along with Brad Pitt and Peter Dinklage, according to the network. Other presenters include Steve Carell, Melissa McCarthy, Zac Efron, Kerry Washington, and Amanda Seyfried, as well as the casts of This Is the End , Grown Ups 2, and Star Trek Into Darkness . Rebel Wilson will host the ceremony, which will be televised live on April 14.
Suffice it to say, Shakira and Usher on The Voice works. NBC’s singing competition hit is pulling off a rare feat, increasing its ratings since the Season 4 premiere, with a switched-up judging panel to boot! Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are still holding it (and throwing it) down, but the show has not been dinged by the hiatus of Christina and Cee Lo. Three weeks in, The Voice is up 4 percent from the previous cycle, hitting a season high 13.7 million viewers and a 4.9 rating among adults 18-49 last night. The show still could tank as we head deeper into spring, but it certainly doesn’t look like it. In fact, Usher and Shakira are re-igniting the fire if anything. Fox is threatening to convert its entire operation to a pay-TV-only channel if Internet startup Aereo continues to “steal” its over-the-air television signal. News Corp., which owns Fox, said not being paid by Aereo threatens the economics of broadcast TV, which relies on both retransmission fees and advertising. Say what now? Anyone with an antenna can pick up a TV station’s signals for free. However, as we well know, cable and satellite companies typically pay stations and networks for the right to distribute their programming to subscribers. Industry-wide, those retransmission fees can add up to billions of dollars every year. Fees that Aereo is circumventing with its new business model: Aereo takes broadcast signals from the air with thousands of little antennas, recodes them for Internet use and feeds that to computers, tablets and phones. Subscriptions start at a mere $8 per month, which is much cheaper than a cable package, though the service is mostly limited to broadcast channels. Obviously, they were sued VERY fast, but last week, that industry was shaken after a federal appeals court issued a preliminary ruling siding with Aereo. The company contends that it doesn’t have to pay those fees because it uses thousands of tiny antennas to grab the signal, and a judge agreed. “This is not an ideal path we look to pursue, but we can’t sit idly by and let an entity steal our signal,” NewsCorp COO Chase Carey said in response. “But if we can’t do a fair deal, we could take the network to a subscription model.” While most people get Fox through a pay cable TV provider anyway, millions of other Americans rely on the free signal coming over their own antennas. If realized, Carey’s proposal would amount to a sea change in how Fox does business; currently, Fox sends its signal to TV stations across the country. Those stations, 27 of which it owns directly, relay Fox programming such as New Girl and Glee for free in local markets and add their own local news, etc. Carey didn’t explain how TV stations would be affected if Fox shut off the signals it sent to broadcasters and went straight over to a pay TV model. Later, the company said in a statement that any change due to the Aereo situation would occur “in collaboration with both our content partners and affiliates.” Last week, the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York said that Aereo could continue its service despite a legal challenge by Fox, ABC, NBC and CBS. In a split ruling, the court accepted Aereo’s position that having individual antennas meant that Aereo wasn’t retransmitting signals illegally for profit. Rather, the appeals court said that Aereo enabled its subscribers to do what they already could on their own with their own antenna and video recorder.

Poor baby … Authorities in South Carolina have identified the toddler who was found abandoned on a stranger’s doorstep with a note on her diaper that read “Call DFAC” or Division of Family and Child Services, and arrested her parents. After four days of investigating, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said that the child is 4-year-old Zoe Brown of Marietta, Ga. Brown’s parents — 31-year-old Alonzo Brown and 37-year-old Tongela Denise McBride — were arrested Friday night on charges of unlawful neglect of a child. Chad McBride, the public information office for the Anderson County Sherriff’s Office, said that having the girl’s story shared through social media and the news media helped lead to the discovery of the toddler’s identify and the arrest of her parents. According to Chad McBride, who is not related to Denise McBride, posts on the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page featuring Zoe Brown’s picture were shared more than 2 million times. “Just putting the story out there and all over the country, it was the media that led to the individuals that called us,” McBride said. “For a couple days we didn’t have anything.” Zoe Brown was found on a resident’s doorstep late Tuesday night in her stroller wearing a shirt adorned with the phrase “Auntie Loves Me.” Roy Campbell, the home’s owner, told the Independent Mail newspaper of Anderson that he found Zoe Brown after he heard the doorbell ring, but didn’t see anyone at the door. “I heard the neighbor’s dogs barking so I went around the back of the house to see if they might have gone there,” Campbell told the Independent Mail. “When I didn’t see anyone, I went back to the front door and noticed that there was a baby in the stroller.” After Campbell found the girl, the police were immediately called and she was taken to a local hospital where doctors determined she was in good health, authorities said. Although she is 4 years old, Zoe Brown wears clothes made for a 24-month-old and has scars on her chest and neck that are consistent with past heart surgery, McBride said. The girl is currently in a foster home under the care of the South Carolina Department of Social Services. McBride said she will remain there until the DSS can determine whether there is a family member who can provide her with a safe environment. We hope they find a home and a family who can love little Zoe unconditionally like she deserves. Clearly, her ain’t isht parents are not worthy.
