According to reports, Tupac’s hologram performance at Coachella has Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre thinking of taking the late rapper’s CGI likeness with them on tour. Tupac died back in 1996 (well, according to some people ), but he was introduced to a whole new generation of fans thanks to the wizards at Digital Domain. The Hollywood firm created a CGI version of the rapper performing on “Hail Mary” and “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted” at the Coachella Festival this weekend: Tupac Coachella Performance Using angled reflectors to create the illusion that he was actually alive and on stage, video of the stunt hit the Internet and became a viral sensation Monday. It also looked like Tupac’s been busy at the gym in the afterlife. Anyway, old 2Pac friends and collaborators Dre and Snoop told the Wall Street Journal that the two are considering mounting an arena tour – with digi-Pac. “This is just the beginning,” Digital Domain’s chief creative officer, Ed Ulbrich, told the paper. “Dre has a massive vision for this.” That got us thinking … Talk to THG: If the Tupac Shakur hologram performed at a venue in your hometown, would you pay to go see that crazy mofo? And more importantly, is Tupac even dead?

Khloe Kardashian is pregnant with her first child, according to a source not known for his reliability. The reality star’s father-in-law. Indeed, in a video that doesn’t come across as remotely contrived, Rumor Fix catches up with Joe Odom – Lamar Odom’s estranged dad – below and asks him for an update on the E! couple. “I got a little news. I’m about ready to have a grandchild!” Joe says, adding numerous times that “everything is everything.” Khloe Kardashian Pregnant, Joe Odom Says An insider has already told Us Weekl y that the claim is false, but we’ll leave it up to readers whether or not they choose to believe Joe Odom. The topic of Khloe’s womb is a popular one these days. It was addressed this week on Khloe & Lamar and a tabloid dared to run a story earlier in the month claiming Kardashian had a miscarriage .

Targeting major tech companies including Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft for use of coal derived power, Greenpeace has issued a new report entitled How Clean is Your Cloud? Given the energy-intensive nature of maintaining the cloud, access to significant amounts of electricity is a key factor in decisions about where to build these data centers. Since electricity plays a critical role in the cost structure of companies that use the cloud , there have been dramatic strides made in improving the energy efficiency. However, despite significant improvements in efficiency, the growth in cloud computing far outstrips these energy savings, and coal is still the cheapest power source. Not to mention the dirtiest. The study covers 14 Internet giants, but singles out Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft as the biggest offenders. Apple derives the most data center power (55%) from coal. Apple is building a 20-megawatt solar farm and 5-megawatt fuel cell facility at its new data center in Maiden, N.C., but Greenpeace downplays their significance. Greenpeace takes Apple to task for its decision to locate its data center in North Carolina, which reportedly maintains one of the dirtiest power grids in the U.S. While Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft take the brunt of Greenpeace’s criticism, Yahoo and Google receive high marks for their policies prioritizing renewable energy. Facebook also receives high marks for its recent commitment to renewable energy, including its latest data center in Sweden that is 100% renewable powered.

When Howard Stern had the creator of dial-a-star (dot) com on his show this week, the conversation quickly turned to the roster of peeps that can be called directly for a fee. Yes, there is a site offering this. And Nadya “Octomom” Suleman is one of the people. Howard, naturally, decided to dial Octo up and talk dirty to her. Think NSFW dirty talk people. But, sadly (or luckily), Nadya wasn’t up for phone sex. Listen: Howard Stern Talks Dirty to Octomom Stern shouldn’t be too surprised, really. For an individual who birthed 14 kids, she shows a striking lack of interest in all things vagina. It’s uncanny. This is a woman who would rather go on welfare and get death threats than do one porn scene for a million dollars. She’s just not that into the sex.

Twitter Exposes Racist Hunger Games Fans Via Their Tweets About Rue And Thresh “The Hunger Games” made a shatload of money this weekend at the box office ($155 million) but unfortunately a great film is almost being overshadowed by the overwhelmingly RACIST attitude some fans of the book have taken toward the casting of black actors in several of the main parts — even the ones who were described as having dark or brown skin in the book! Now as you may know, Katniss, the main character in the book and film, was described as having “straight black hair” and “olive skin.” It’s a post-apocalyptic world, so she could be a mix of things, but some pictured a Native American. Blonde-haired, blue-eyed Jennifer Lawrence won the part and dyed her hair dark. But when it came to the casting of Rue, Thresh, and Cinna, many audience members did not understand why there were black actors playing those parts. Cinna’s skin is not discussed in the book, so truthfully, though Lenny Kravitz was cast, a white, Asian or Latino actor could have played the part. But. On page 45 of Suzanne Collins’s book, Katniss sees Rue for the first time: …And most hauntingly, a twelve-year-old girl from District 11. She has dark brown skin and eyes, but other than that’s she’s very like Prim in size and demeanor… Later, she sees Thresh: The boy tribute from District 11, Thresh, has the same dark skin as Rue, but the resemblance stops there. He’s one of the giants, probably six and half feet tall and built like an ox. Dark skin. That is what the novelist, the creator of the series, specified. But there were plenty of audience members who were “shocked,” or confused, or just plain angry. The tumblr Hunger Games Tweets has collected a smattering of Twitter postings, with the goal of exposing “Hunger Games fans on Twitter who dare to call themselves fans yet don’t know a damn thing about the books.” What people are saying is disappointing, sad, stomach-churning, and just plain racist. Check out some of the tweets collected below: We saw the movie this weekend and loved it — Amandla Stenburg (Rue) and Dayo Okenyiyi (Thresh) were two of our favorite actors and we think it’s a damned shame that haters are gonna hate as usual. Odd Future head reveals on ‘RapFix Live’ that MellowHype’s ’50’ is on the production schedule. By Rob Markman Tyler, The Creator Photo: MTV News There is no video director in the game quite like Tyler, the Creator . As Wolf Haley, the Odd Future head has already put out a number of memorable vids, including his critically acclaimed “Yonkers,” which helped him win a VMA in 2011. Most recently, Wolf directed and dropped two videos off OFWGKTA’s new album, The OF Tape, Vol. 2 — “Rella” and “NY (Ned Flander)” — and he’s now debating which track he should shoot next. “I kinda wanna do ‘Analog 2′ for sure, but the MellowHype ’50’ song, I have an idea for that that would be awesome,” Tyler said when he and the rest of the OF crew appeared on Wednesday’s “RapFix Live.” “That song, just g–damn, that song’s crazy.” “Analog 2” is a Frank Ocean- and Syd the Kid-assisted sequel to the original track which appeared on Tyler’s Goblin album last year — well, kind of. “I didn’t go in to make a sequel for a song, I just went in to make a song and I didn’t have a name for it and just called it that,” Tyler said. “That wasn’t intentional to be part two, I just called it that because I couldn’t come up with another name and I was lazy.” There are some distinct similarities between the two songs, however. On “Analog 2,” Frank Ocean lovingly sings, “Could you can meet by the lake,” echoing the words that Tyler utters on the hook of the original “Analog.” “It wasn’t that I was gonna make I part two to this, nah, it was just not being creative,” Tyler insisted. Wolf wouldn’t give up any details on his video treatments, though, saying he had to protect his ideas. “See, I can’t tell you. I don’t tell my business like that son,” he said. “I might say some sh–, then some n—a might steal that idea, put that sh– out and then I’m f—ed.” What should be the next video from Odd Future’s The OF Tape, Vol. 2 ? After Bastard and Goblin, Odd Future MC tells ‘RapFix Live’ that he doesn’t have a release date for Wolf. By Rob Markman Tyler, the Creator Photo: MTV News Tyler, the Creator made strides when he released his sophomore album, Goblin, last year. Anchored by the singles “Sandwitches” and “Yonkers,” which helped earn the de facto Odd Future leader a VMA, Tyler’s Goblin only raised the expectations for his next solo album, Wolf. If the title track from Tyler’s 2009 debut, Bastard, is any indication, then Wolf will stand as the third album in the MC/producer’s thematic trilogy — maybe. “Dude, I don’t know,” Tyler said on “RapFix Live” when asked about a release date for the LP. Bastard ‘s title track begins with a skit in which fictional therapist Dr. TC tells Tyler he is committed to three sessions. Dr. TC then appears again at the top of Goblin and throughout the album. Tyler says that he didn’t plan for it to be a trilogy; that’s just the way things worked out. “It might not even be a trilogy,” he said.” I might do the third trilogy years from now.” The entire Odd Future collective released The OF Tape, Vol. 2, and after that, they will surely continue to release individual and smaller group projects. Left Brain and Hodgy Beats as MellowHype contribute the rambunctious “50” to Vol. 2, but don’t be surprised if the track ends up on their upcoming Numbers album. “We got some MellowHype jump-offs on the new album that might still go on the new MellowHype album,” Left Brain confirmed. Can you wait a few years for Tyler, the Creator’s Wolf LP? Tell us in the comments! Related Videos ‘RapFix Live’ Has An Odd Future Related Artists Tyler, The Creator
