The Poop Police: New App Locates Dog Poop & Reads The Owner For Filth

It’s called the Pooper Snooper and it’s only one stop away from being a crime scene investigation kit. Here’s how it works: First, let’s say your strolling along in your neighborhood thinking positive thoughts when BAM…your new pair of Nikes squash into the deep crevices of dog poop. Pissed, right! Well with Pooper Snooper you can now make a pin of your location, similar to Google Maps, and press the “add poop” button. Then, you can take a picture of the said poop and add any linear notes crucial to the crime — e.g. color, shape, smell, size, etc. Then your info will be uploaded to the app and map, so future travelers can avoid a messy situation. With enough users, the uploaded poop warnings can start a trend in a particular neighborhood, letting folks know that people don’t know how to clean up in that area. It can shame dog owners and be used as a tool for environment officers. Pooper Snooper is the new free #app that enables individuals and communities to record and monitor #dogfouling . This results in 42.5 million poops everyday. Gross. You can also use the app to record bin locations just in case irresponsible pet owners have problems finding a waste basket. “The data is instantly visible on a map in the app, revealing persistent problem areas where local authorities and communities can focus their attention,” said CEO of Pooper Snooper  Dave Kilbey . Keep It Simple: Marc Jacobs Proposed To His Boyfriend With A Flash Mob At Chipotle

Source: Michel Dufour / Getty Marc Jacobs , fashion designer extraordinaire, just proposed to his long-term boyfriend Charly ‘Char’ DeFrancesco –and he did so in a way most people probably wouldn’t expect. There’s a lot of different extravagant things people might think of when it comes to celebrity proposals, especially for someone so obsessed with aesthetics like a fashion designer. You’d probably expect an exotic or fancy location, an orchestra, or anything especially romantic and beautiful. Jacobs’ proposal was a lot less conventional–especially for someone of his stature–but that makes it all the more endearing. Jacobs took his then soon-to-be fiancee to Chipotle, where he had a pre-arranged flashmob surprise waiting for his unassuming partner. The flashmob danced along to Prince’s “Kiss,” right in the middle of the restaurant, which all led up to Marc kneeling down and asking DeFrancesco to marry him. Fortunately for Jacobs, his boyfriend said yes!! This cute moment was captured on video, which Jacobs happily posted on Instagram after the fact. A Chipotle proposal is something most regular folk would never consider for their big moment, so seeing such a big celebrity do something so small makes the couple all the more endearing. Congrats to Marc Jacobs and Charly DeFrancesco!

One Of Safaree’s Robbers Was A Former Old Friend

One of the men in question can be seen in an old photo of Safaree with his ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj while in a nightclub. Via TMZ: Safaree Samuels’ armed robbery hits closer to home than he might’ve thought, because he knows one of his alleged assailants very well. TMZ has obtained a photo Safaree took with his then-girlfriend, Nicki Minaj, and one of the men arrested in connection to the crime … Shawn Harewood. Sources tell us the pic was taken in either 2011 or 2012 at a club in Queens for Safaree’s birthday. We’re told Safaree and Shawn are old friends — Safaree’s known him since he was 14 years old. However, we’re told they haven’t spoken since Safaree’s break-up from Nicki.  Harewood and another man, Jonathan Ricketts, were caught and arrested shortly after the alleged armed robbery this week. They were captured on foot in upper Manhattan after police pursued them over the George Washington Bridge from NJ. Meanwhile, Safaree’s attorney has stated that the attack on his client was not random and he believes he was targeted. Safaree says that around $183,000 in cash and jewelry were stolen during the robbery. Source: ANDREW CABALLERO-REYNOLDS / Getty Baltimore Was Just Named Most Dangerous City In U.S. It used to be a foregone conclusion that Chicago was the most dangerous city in the country from the coverage it got in the media but you would be wrong in your assumption. According to a report from USA Today Baltimore takes the crown as “Most Dangerous City In The America”. Although Chicago did have 650 homicides last year, and Baltimore had nearly half with 343, the murder per capita shows that Baltimore is a much more dangerous city in comparison. Chicago tallied 24 homicides per 100,000 people in last year in contrast to Baltimore recording around 56. Baltimore achieved the highest per capita homicide rate in the city’s history. Many believe unrest between police and the poor and underserved communities have attributed to the rise of homicides in Baltimore. The report does however show a positive trend in that murder rates in America have dropped by about 2% in the nation’s 50 largest cities. We saw decrease is mostly in major U.S. cities like New York, Chicago, and Houston which dropped double-digit percentages, 13.4%, 14.7%, 11%, respectively. .

16-Year-Old Black Teen Killed By Sheriff’s Deputy In Los Angeles, But Was He Really Armed?

Robert Nickelsberg/Getty Images L.A. Teen Killed By Police We were saddened to learn of the death of Anthony Jacob Weber, a 16-year-old teen killed this weekend in South Los Angeles by police. According to Independent reports , officials are claiming that Weber had a gun tucked in his waistband at the time he was shot, but they believe someone in the crowd may have removed the weapon during the confusion that followed. The incident happened after someone called 911 Sunday night to report a man had pointed a gun at his car. Deputies encountered a 16-year-old boy matching the suspect’s description — a black man wearing a black T-shirt and jeans. Police claim they ordered the suspect to stop, but he took off running into an apartment complex, detectives said. The boy, identified by family members as Anthony Jacob Weber, appeared to have a gun tucked into his waistband and away from the deputies, sheriff’s Capt. Chris Bergner said. A witness told detectives they remembered hearing the deputies yell out, “Don’t reach for it!” but didn’t know whether Weber had a gun, he said. The deputies chased Weber into the courtyard of an apartment complex, where he turned around and reached for his waistband, Bergner said. As he turned around, a deputy opened fire, shooting off 10 rounds, the captain said. It was unclear how many times Weber was shot. About 30 to 40 people flooded into the apartment complex’s courtyard and surrounded the two deputies as Weber lay wounded on the floor, officials said. Investigators believe that while the deputies were waiting for backup to arrive someone in the crowd grabbed the gun from the scene. “They believe that somebody reached in and may have taken a gun,” Berger said at a news conference. The weapon hasn’t been recovered. Weber was the father of an infant daughter. “My son was a good son. He was a great brother. He had the biggest heart,” Weber’s mother, Demetra Johnson, said. “He had a 9-month old daughter, Violet, that lights up every time he walks in the room. He didn’t deserve this. He don’t (sic) have that kind of heart that deserve this kind of killing.” Prayers up for Weber’s family. Do you think it’s really possible that someone reached into the crime scene to remove the gun? Or are the police just trying to cover up for another killing of an unarmed teen?

Teresa Giudice: Vacationing With a Lover?! Openly Prepping for Divorce?!

While Teresa Giudice spent her 11 months in prison, it was reported numerous times that Joe Giudice didn’t exactly keep his hands to himself. Now that Joe’s taking his turn behind bars for a couple of years, some say that it’s Teresa’s turn to cheat. Others say that it’s okay, because she’s getting a divorce from Joe anyway. A report says that Teresa’s no longer keeping things with her lover under wraps — that she’s openly vacationing with him. How soon is she getting divorced? They say that if you can’t do the time, you shouldn’t do the crime. They also say that no one is above the law. While the latter has yet to be demonstrated for Presidents, it’s definitely true that starring on The Real Housewives of New Jersey doesn’t make you above being dragged into court and sentenced to prison. Years before Countess Luann de Lesseps was arrested for kicking a police officer , Teresa Giudice became a Real Housewife of the Big House. (Side note: we would be very intrigued by a television series by that name) The judge was kind enough to, for the sake of the Giudice children, sentence Teresa and her husband, Joe, to serve non-concurrent sentences. While Teresa was locked away — she ended up serving only 11 of her 15 months — Joe was with the couples’ children. And, reportedly, he was with other women who were not his daughters. By which we mean that he was allegedly cheating on Teresa Giudice left and right. Teresa said that she didn’t believe those rumors but … What are we to make of this photo that she shared over the weekend? Teresa posted this photo of herself with Loren B. La Forge-Kyriakoulis at dinner, captioning it: “Dinner with a great friend lots of laughs @laforgekyriakoulis # webothlovefood #greekfood” Now, that might be a totally innocuous social media post. (Teresa’s actually been uncharacteristically quiet on social media, lately) But La Forge is a divorce attorney. Is Teresa posting a photo with a friend … or a hint that she’s gearing up to leave Joe? To top it all off, RadarOnline reports that not only is Teresa cheating on Joe, she recently took her secret lover on vacation. “Teresa went to Cancun for the holidays with her boyfriend,” a source reported to them. And apparently they’ve reached a place in their (alleged) relationship where she’s fine having this mystery guy around her family. “Her dad was even there, so she’s hardly hiding it anymore!” Is this the case? If so, it sounds like she’s gearing up to let Joe rot behind bars. Honestly? We’re not necessarily convinced that she’s cheating on Joe. They have a long, complicated relationship, but not even her frenemy Danielle Staub believes that Teresa’s cheating. (And not, we think, just because Teresa Giudice apologized in a recent episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey ) If Teresa’s dinner with La Forge was really about divorce, then it may be that Teresa’s gearing up to leave Joe … for reasons other than a lover of her own. For one thing? Joe is an Italian immigrant. He’s not a US citizen, and may end up getting deported when his prison sentence ends. She may be preparing for that drama now.
