A California Starbucks Employee Is Confronted By A Customer For Stealing Her Credit Card The NERVE! Via DailyMail A California woman posted a video on YouTube of her confronting a Starbucks employee for making a copy of her credit card and spending $200 at a local grocery store. Elizabeth Becerra from Victoriaville, California, and her brother were waiting in the drive-thru at Starbucks when she accused the cashier of taking her credit card details on New Year’s Day. Becerra said the 19-year-old cashier was caught on camera after telling her that she needed more receipt paper. The video starts with Becerra’s brother asking her what she’s going to say to the cashier and Becerra said: ‘We’re gonna get even, that’s what we’re gonna do. She’s lucky she didn’t get her punk azz snatched out the drive-thru window! Image via DailyMail
The mother featured in this video manages to pull off quite an impressive and depressing feat: She sets a bad example for her children. She gives America a very bad name. And she makes for a solid minute-plus of entertainment… as long as you aren't related to her, that is. From what we can gather, the woman ordered something from a restaurant and requested the dish come with red peppers instead of green peppers. Why? Because her kids only “don't eat green things.” (This is perhaps a good time to pause a mention that most vegetables are green; great parenting, lady!) The employees made a mistake, did not switch out the peppers and incurred wrath from the customer that included her demanding they stop speaking a foreign language and “get it right the first time” because this is America, dammit! The best part of all, though? Upon exiting in a loud off, the woman rights right into the glass door. We thank you, Karma.
G-Star jeans are a jean company that may be cool, but the last time I checked was a jean company that the cheesiest cheese dicks in the lamest dance clubs buying bottles with their working at the customer service call center money….you know let’s pool our suburban disposable income together because we live with our parents and look balling so we get to fuck other suburban girls… Well, their obviously trying to change their image, because they booked erotic fashion photographer Ellen von Unwerth, but I’m gonna argue that the jeans are probably still cheesy as fuck…not because I like arguing or really need to argue…I mean really, who fucking cares… The post G-Star’s Hot Fucking Shoot of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepfather .
Out…of…pocket… Black Man Fired After Complaining About Eric Garner Joke A North Carolina man is out of a job after he says he complained about a racist joke about Eric Garner. WRAL reports: UPS employee in Raleigh says he was fired in retaliation after admonishing his supervisor for making a racially insensitive remark. Joshua Boyd, 22, said Friday that he had worked only three weeks at the UPS Customer Center, loading boxes onto trucks, when the encounter with his boss happened Tuesday. As the two worked side by side, Boyd eyed the supervisor’s chocolate bar. “I said, ‘Hey man!’” Boyd recalled. “I look at him, and he looks back at me and says, ‘Yeah, I’ll bring you down like they did that guy in New York.’” Boyd said he didn’t appreciate the reference to Eric Garner, a black man who died after being placed in a chokehold by a white police officer in Staten Island, N.Y. A grand jury’s decision not to indict the officer resulted in nationwide protests, including in the Triangle. “I quickly addressed it, so I said, ‘Hey man, that’s not funny. Can you not joke on that particular matter,” said Boyd, who is black. He said the supervisor, who is white, immediately apologized. But Boyd said the supervisor laughed about the chokehold joke two more times to other employees. Boyd said he felt like he was in a hostile work environment, so he went home. He returned the next day and had a meeting with his supervisor’s boss. He said he was told to return Thursday and meet with Human Resources personnel, who fired him. Boyd said he did not overreact to the remark. “If I ask you not to say it one time, firmly – I didn’t joke back and smile and say, ‘Hey man, don’t say that again.’ I looked at you straight and asked you not to say that again,” he said. He said UPS cut him loose “to protect their employees.” Boyd said he plans to take his complaint to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. SMH…we smell a lawsuit. Somebody’s about to get PAID.
You can’t be serious… Philadelphia Tavern Writes “N-Word” On Customer Receipt A Philadelphia man received his hot wings with a side of racism over the weekend. After stopping by one of his favorite taverns for a quick order, he was horrified to find that the bartender had referred to him as a racial slur on his receipt. However, she claims it was all a “joke.” Via The Patriot News : Moore, 29, generally doesn’t look at receipts after he orders out. And he almost wishes he didn’t see the one he took home from Zembie’s Sports Tavern at 226 N. Second St. On a section of his electronic receipt that labels the check name, in print, the bartender, Megan Bonsall, identified the Harrisburg resident with a racial slur. And Moore, a regular of the tavern, said he doesn’t know the bartender, is insulted and will never go back to Zembie’s again. “It makes me feel like I’m just low,” Moore said. “A [expletive] is an ignorant, disrespectful person. It has nothing to do with your skin color. What would possess you to put something like that on a piece of paper? You don’t even know who I am.” Zembie’s owner Angelo Karagiannis said he spoke with Bonsall, and the whole thing is just a misunderstanding. After Moore walked in to order wings, he started to talk with some people at the bar, Karagiannis said of what happened. Bonsall asked a friend of Moore’s at the bar what his name is, because she didn’t want to interrupt him while he was in the middle of a conversation. That friend pulled up Moore’s Facebook page on his phone, and he showed it to her in an attempt to identify Moore, Karagiannis said. Bonsall saw on Moore’s Facebook page that he called himself a “sexy [expletive],” he said. And thinking it was funny, she identified him as such on the ticket, he said. Moore said Karagiannis’ account of the situation is false. After he ordered the wings, Moore said he drank a beer and watched football while he waited for his food, never engaging in conversation with others at the bar. Moore had called himself a “sexy [expletive]” in a comment feed on his Facebook page. And he said if Bonsall saw that, she must have found it while she searched his Facebook account to try to come up with an excuse for her actions. “Even if that is the case, why didn’t she put ‘sexy [expletive]’ on the check?” Moore asked. “I’m hurt by the situation, I am just a random Joe and she could have just taken the time to ask my name,” Moore said. “Racism is no longer behind closed doors.” We just don’t understand how the bartender could have possibly thought he’d get a laugh out of that. Weak excuse when she just felt like writing what she really thought on the receipt.
17-Year-Old Created Malware In Target Data Security Breach Of course this cybercriminal is an underage tennager from Russia ! Via IntelCrawler: The massive data breach at Target during the 2013 holiday shopping season which the retailer now admits affected 70 million customers used an inexpensive “off the shelf” malware known as BlackPOS. The same malware may have also been involved in the Neiman Marcus attack. Security researchers from IntelCrawler, a Los-Angeles based cyber intelligence company, announced that the age of BlackPOS malware author is close to 17 years old and the first sample of it was created in March 2013. The first report on this malware was done in the beginning of spring by Andrew Komarov, IntelCrawler CEO, when he was working in another forensics company. According to own sources of IntelCrawler the first infected Point-of-Sales environments by BlackPOS were in Australia, Canada and the US. The first name of the malware was a lyric “Kaptoxa” (“potatoe” – in russian slang), which then was renamed to “DUMP MEMORY GRABBER by Ree[4]” for forums postings, but the title for C&C had string “BlackPOS”. During that time, “Ree[4]” (“ree4″) has sold more then 40 builds of BlackPOS to cybercriminals from Eastern Europe and other countries, including the owners of underground credit cards shops such as “.rescator”, “Track2.name”, “Privateservices.biz” and many others. The same dates the detailed information and reverse engineering report were shared with Visa and several major US banks, after which US LEA released internal notification for financial industry about that. The bad actor was pretty opened for trading this malware for 2 000 USD or by receiving 50% from selling of all intercepted credit cards by his customer through Liberty Reserve. According to operative information from IntelCrawler, the person behind the nickname “ree[4]” is Sergey Taraspov, having roots in St.Petersburg and Nizhniy Novgorod (Russian Federation), very well known programmer of malicious code in underground. “He is still visible for us, but the real bad actors responsible for the past attacks on retailers such as Target and Neiman Marcus were just his customers”, comments Dan Clements, IntelCrawler President. SMH. Any of you affected by the breach?? IntelCrawler
No country for cheddar bay racism ! Man Denies Leaving Racial Slur On Red Lobster Receipt The customer at the center of a racial slur written on a Red Lobster receipt last month in Franklin is speaking out for the first time and says new evidence proves he didn’t write it. Via WSMV reports: “It’s been horrific. I mean, I just have been getting all these threats and everything,” said Red Lobster customer Devin Barnes. His name and his receipt wound up at the center of the scandal, but Barnes says he now has reason to breathe easier. “I’m not mad. I just didn’t like what happened. I just wish it didn’t come out this way,” he said. Several weeks ago, waitress Toni Jenkins posted a photo of her customer’s receipt online. “She was polite. She was cheerful,” Barnes said. But Barnes did not leave her a tip and says he left the total line blank. So, when the N-word somehow showed up on the receipt online, Barnes knew he was in trouble. “I didn’t do this,” he said. “I just asked my parents, ‘Why is this happening to me?’ I mean, I didn’t do nothing. Me and my wife were just trying to go out to eat, have a nice time.” Weeks ago, Barnes’ attorney and pastor, Richard Dugger, hired an independent handwriting expert who compared the receipt with samples provided by Barnes and his wife. “There is no evidence that neither Devin Barnes nor his wife wrote that hideous statement on the line total, which means that someone else did,” Dugger said. Would someone really admit to be a racist before the world? “Oh yeah I called that waitress a n*gger, yep that was me!”
All of a sudden, the bus isn’t looking so bad…. Report Shows Airlines Made $27 Billion In Customer Fees In 2012 Ever wonder just how much money the airline industry is banking from robbing customers with sky-high baggage, food, booking and other fees? Bet you would have never guessed that the total was $27 billion…. via NBC News From paying for checked luggage and early boarding to extra legroom and on-board snacks, travelers know flying these days means never closing your wallet. Now, there’s more proof. Carriers around the world collected more than $27 billion last year in fees and other non-fare revenue, which has become “a crucial component of airline income,” a new report finds. The figure represents a 20 percent jump over 2011. “Every year, key numbers are getting larger. The most aggressive airlines easily generate more than 20 percent of their revenue from a la carte fees,” according to the report by IdeaWorks. The study was sponsored by CarTrawler, an Irish company that provides online car rental distribution systems. “Once largely limited to low fare airlines, ancillary revenue has now become a financial necessity for airlines all over the globe.” United Airlines was tops among carriers in the total amount of non-fare revenue collected last year, followed by Delta, American and Southwest, the study found. Ultra-low cost carrier Spirit Airlines collected the most as a percentage of its total income, with fees and other extras making up 38.5 percent of its revenue pie. The report analyzed financial information from 53 airlines that disclose their ancillary revenue, which includes the much-hated fees for services such as checked bags, priority check-in and assigned seats. “This is $27 billion of deception,” said Charlie Leocha, director of the Consumer Travel Alliance, adding all those extra charges are making it harder for fliers to know and compare the true cost of tickets at the time of booking. We already knew these airlines were getting away with murder in terms of how much they charge passengers in fees, but $27 BILLION?!? C’mon son. Shutterstock Continue reading →
