Via Page Six reports : Friends fear that twerk-loving pop star Miley Cyrus is too high on drugs after she admitted she loves taking molly, the street name for MDMA. Sources close to Cyrus say they fear she’s popping the drug so often, they suspect she was high during her controversial twerktastic MTV VMA performance last month. Cyrus, who also references molly on her song “We Can’t Stop,” outlined her drugs of choice to Rolling Stone magazine in the latest issue. “Hollywood is a c**e town, but ‘tweeds’ is so much better. And molly, too,” she said. “Those are happy drugs — social drugs. They make you want to be with friends. You’re out in the open. You’re not in a bathroom.” Friends believe Cyrus was so out in the open that she was taking molly during her VMA performance, where she twerked all over Robin Thicke during a duet of his summer anthem “Blurred Lines.” Others noticed Cyrus’ constant sticking out of her white-coated tongue as a telltale sign: People who take molly often become dehydrated, leaving them with a dry mouth. Cyrus’ performance drew widespread criticism, even from 67-year-old Cher, who said the young singer’s appearance was abysmal. “It just wasn’t done well. She can’t dance, her body looked like hell, the song wasn’t great, one cheek was hanging out,” Cher critiqued. “And, chick, don’t stick out your tongue if it’s coated.” While Cyrus’ rep didn’t get back to us last night, the singer previously responded to the controversy about her VMA performance, comparing the public outcry to the Trayvon Martin tragedy. “It’s the media riling up the people, rather than people riling up the media,” she said. “And what makes me kind of sick is, Trayvon Martin’s trial didn’t happen more than two months ago. It got talked about a lot — but it still got done being talked about a lot quicker than the VMAs. And that’s really sad.” SMH… What’s sad is her flapjacks in those latex shorts.
