Earlier this month, Chelsea Houska married Cole De Boer after two years of dating. The wedding served as a much-deserved happy ending for one of the Teen Mom franchise’s most beloved castmembers. As fans of the show are all too aware, Chelsea’s road hasn’t always been a smooth one, as she’s frequently been forced to deal with the idiocy of her short-tempered, often-negligent baby daddy, Adam Lind. For a time, it looked as though Chelsea might finally get out from under the dark cloud that is Lind. Sure, they have a kid together, and they’ll always be bound by that, but they’re not tied to each other as closely as they used to be. Lind seems to be playing a smaller role than ever in his daughter’s life these days, as he’s even talked about quitting Teen Mom 2 . Adam Lind doesn’t have the greatest reputation, but like so many of his co-stars, he blames Teen Mom 2 editors for making him look bad. Maybe that really is the case, but Lind’s behavior off-camera doesn’t do much to help with the way he’s perceived by the public. There are the many times Lind has been caught lying. There are the explicit photos of Lind that have been “accidentally” posted to social media. And of course there’s the time that Lind stole someone’s wallet at a strip club. Yes, even by the standards of Teen Mom baby daddies, Lind’s behavior is the sort that makes one stop and say, “WTF was this guy thinking?” out loud. His wallet snatching behavior is particularly puzzling as the “stars” of Teen Mom 2 are so well-compensated that MTV keeps their exact salaries under wraps, for fear that the show’s fan base would tune out if they knew they were actually watching a bunch of you millionaires whine about their problems. The men aren’t paid as well as the moms, but with social media endorsement deals and appearance fees, even the exes who don’t appear in every episode pull in six figures. Which explains why Lind lied when he said he was quitting Teen Mom 2 . But it doesn’t explain why he gets away with such paltry child support payments. According to Radar Online Lind pays only $945 per month to his ex Chelsea Houska for expenses accrued raising their 7-year-old daughter, Aubree. Lind pays $1,203/month to his other baby mama, Taylor Halbur, who is mother of his 3-year-old daughter Paislee. Don’t get us wrong, $2,148 is far from chump change. There are folks out there getting paid minimum wage who don’t even make that much in a month. But when you consider the context – and the fact that Lind frequently misses payments and gripes about having to pay child support on social media – it’s just one more thing that makes you want to smack the guy. Not only is Lind earning several times the income of most guys his age in his situation, he’s doing so without holding a full-time job, and entirely because of Chelsea. “She feels $945 a month is necessary,” Lind once wrote of Houska on Instagram. “Guess her lil pig, 6 dogs, new jeep and house just isn’t enough and needs some extra $$.” Of Halbur he wrote: “Taylor alsooooo filed for more support. Someone send Jon Gosselin on an Eat Pray Love retreat. The former TLC star and unofficial Ed Hardy model hasn’t been in the best place since his 2008 divorce from Kate Gosselin. A month ago, one could have said that Jon was doing pretty well as an employee with his local T.G.I Friday’s. Alas, TMZ ruined everything by outing him, a move that made Jon so furious that he quit. To make matters worse, Jon donated his weekly check to charity (this was confirmed by the restaurant manager). Jon is allowed to feel a little bitter. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight , Jon revealed what his life is like these days as a single dad . He doesn’t see his kids much, which might affect him more than he lets on. “Everybody used to come to my house,” Jon said of his eight kids – twins Maddie, Cara, and sextuplets Alexis, Hanna, Leah, Joel, Aaden and Colin. “You know, it was great, and then Madelyn and Cara just stopped coming, around 12-13 [years old]. I didn’t question it. I was just like, ‘Hey, do what you want, be with your friends’ and then it just became they’re not coming.” The number of Gosselin visitors then dwindled to six. “I was just focusing on the ones that did come and then a couple years went by and then Collin stopped coming. I thought, maybe he just wants to do stuff with Mommy or whatever, and then it became long term.” In fact, Colin and his dad haven’t seen each other in two years. The last time Jon saw all eight children at once was three or four years ago. Jon told ET that he hasn’t seen all eight of his children in one place in three or four years. “The kids that I do get are Hannah, Leah, Joel and Aaden. I guess the four have stuck together and said, ‘We’re going to Daddy’s and that’s it.’ And maybe they’ll raise a stink about it or something like that. “Sometimes I get Alexis but not often.” As for his first-born daughters, Jon admitted that they’re not on speaking terms right now.
