The fact that I wasn’t invited to the Victoria’s Secret fashion show…after all the good I do for the brand and more importantly the girls in it…from following their every fucking move like some kind of creepy pervert who cares way too much about them….was a bit of a slap in the face…reminding me that blogging…at least this kind of blogging…even if I am 10 years deep into it…is some amateur hour shit… I gotta go mainstream…. Here are some pics of the infomercial I missed the taping off…which is probably a good thing…cuz no one wants a chronic masturbating homeless looking guy front row of any of their events….so I’ll just stick to the spray on hair and food dehydrator infomercials…I have yet to jerk off to…cuz I never got that desperate. Featuring the same half naked cast of characters…Ambrosio, Swanepoel, Lima, Kroes, Rihanna, Kerr, Heatherton, etc….. Here is NY Daily News Backstage…..talking to some of the models…..because they are a real media outlet and I am not…. Here is CBS talking to the girls backstage cuz they are a real media outlet….and I am not… HERE ARE THE REST OF THE PICS – TOO MANY TO POST HERE
Mom-to-be Adele is flaunting her pregnancy … and denying she’s secretly married. The 24-year-old Grammy-winner stepped out with boyfriend Simon Konecki in London on Tuesday wearing a long, tight black dress that showed off her baby bump. Adele wore flats for her walk and a long blue sweater with her soon-to-be baby daddy, a nonprofit CEO, in tow. Simon, 38, got Adele pregnant earlier this year. The “Someone Like You” singer confirmed in July she is expecting her first child with Konecki, who is already a father to a daughter with ex-wife Clary Fisher. She also confirmed that she is NOT engaged or married to Simon Konecki . Rumors swirled last week that the couple of nine months had secretly gotten engaged and/or hitched, but Adele Tweeted, “I’m not married … Zzzzzzz.” So there you go. Still, wedding bells may be on the horizon at some point. After Adele revealed she was expecting, friends close to the chart-topping singing sensation “wants nothing more than to be a wife and mom.” [Photo: WENN.com]
Britain’s most eligible bachelorette is making headlines in the Big Apple. Pippa Middleton arrived in New York last weekend, and has the rumor mill buzzing with news of a possible fling with hotelier/businessman Andre Balazs. Page Six reports that the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister spent Sunday in Shelter Island at Balazs’ hotel and there was “definite chemistry between the pair.” A spying source for the New York Post gossip site says “Pippa was wearing red jeans and a white top. She was dressed sexy, but not too sexy. PHEW. The term “flirt central” was also used to describe their rapport, so there’s that. Andre Balazs, 55, famously dated star Uma Thurman and recently was in a relationship with comedienne Chelsea Handler that ended last spring. Pippa Middleton, 28, has been surprisingly and noticeably single ever since breaking up for good with her on-again, off-again BF Alex Loudon last year. Age difference, schmage difference. But don’t get too attached, Andre. The N.Y. Daily News also linked her to ex-New York Ranger Sean Avery. [Photos: WENN.com]
His family says American Airlines just didn’t want a kid with Down’s Syndrome in first class! A California family says they were kicked off a cross-country American Airlines flight because their 16-year-old son has Down syndrome. Joan and Robert Vanderhorst, of Bakersfield, Calif., were flying from Newark to Los Angeles on Sunday when they were told their son, Bede, posed a “flight risk.” Joan Vanderhost pulled out her cell phone and started recording the incident, in which Bede is seen quietly playing with his hat and an American Airlines official warns that she was prohibited from filming “in a security controlled area.” Vanderhost is heard sobbing on the video, telling the airline official that her family is being “singled out.” “He’s behaving. He’s demonstrating he’s not a problem,” Robert Vanderhorst calmly said. The family, who had upgraded their tickets to first class, were denied boarding and forced to rebook in coach seats on a later United Airlines flight. The Vanderhorsts told KTLA they intend to sue the airline for violating Bede’s civil rights and the Americans With Disabilities Act. But American Airlines stood behind its decision to remove Bede from the flight, telling the Daily News on Tuesday that Bede was “agitated” in the waiting area. “Asking the family to take the next flight was a decision that was made with careful consideration and that was done based on the behavior of the teen,” the airline said. “Our customer service team worked with the Vanderhorst family and the EWR [Newark airport] team, as well as the crew, tried to get Bede comfortable. Unfortunately, the crew determined he was still agitated.” The airline would not confirm to the Daily News if other passengers had witnessed Bede’s “agitation.” The Vanderhorsts said the pilot and crew never spoke with them or their son and they believe the airline didn’t want a person with Down syndrome in first class. “We were not allowed on the plane because they saw my son and made a decision,” Joan Vanderhorst said. This doesn’t look very good for American Airlines. We foresee a lot of first class flights in Bede’s future though. Source
Kellie Picker covers the latest issue of Maxim . But the former American Idol contestant has goals in mind that include a lot more than merely showing skin: she’s espousing the virtues of the USO and hoping others get involved in assisting our military. “I come from a military family,” says Pickler, who has traveled abroad with the USO five times. “My grandfather is a retired Marine, and I’ve always had a great deal of respect for anyone who serves our country. It really does take someone special to sacrifice everything. I don’t mean just their lives, either. There are men who are sacrificing the chance to hold their newborn baby!” Pickler adds that she hates singing the National Anthem, which may seem like an odd stance for someone with her belief system, but her rationale is spot-on. “I love the anthem if someone else is singing it, but doing it myself gives me anxiety! I feel like people are waiting for you to mess up! I’ve done it before and I’ll do it again, I’m sure, but I’d rather show my patriotism by going to Afghanistan.” Amen. For more from Kellie, pick up this issue of Maxim when it goes on sale July 31.

When Alec Baldwin appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman Wednesday night, he was in a joking mood, mostly laughing off the altercation he got into with a photographer on the streets of New York City Monday. But Marcus Santos, the victim in this alleged attack by the actor , sat down with Good Morning America yesterday and found the entire incident far less funny. “I feel headaches, and my jaw is hurting me,” Santos told George Stephanopoulos of the aftermath, insisting that he never hit Baldwin with a camera but Baldwin did strike him in the face. “I was trying to move back to soft the blow. He just lunged at me.” Santos says the picture that ended up on the front page of The New York Daily News does not capture the proper “angle” to depict Baldwin’s punch, and that all he wants to do is snap photos in peace. “I’m just feeling so embarrassed to what he did to me. I like to take a picture and my picture be on the front page, not me be on the front page. I’m a news person. I record news, I go there and take my pictures I don’t want to be a part of the news.” But he does want to see Baldwin prosecuted. Along with his attorney, who also appeared on GMA , Santos said he hopes the law gets involved so what happened to him “doesn’t happen to anyone else.” Baldwin, meanwhile, doesn’t seem overly contrite. As the US Supreme Court readies to announce the health care ruling, [Daily News Editor] Colin Myler has ten “reporters” and “photographers” outside my bldg… he Tweeted yesterday.
It’s sad w the tabloid press. They attempt 2 provoke an incident + when it doesn’t pan out, they say u did it anyway… #no1punchedany1 So Tweeted Alec Baldwin yesterday, hours after he got into it with a photographer in New York City , allegedly confronting the reporter for taking pictures of him and fiance Hilaria Thomas after they picked up a marriage license. But while a witness at the scene agrees Baldwin didn’t throw any punches, he does say the 30 Rock star was the instigator in the encounter. Says Goran Veljic, another photographer standing nearby at the time, to E! News of the two Daily News journalists involved in the dust-up: “They were surprised when Alec came here. He started to push up his hands to talk nonverbal and pushed one of the photographers.” Was the Emmy winner at least provoked? No, according to Veljic . “They are professional photographers, they moved back… I’ve never seen something like this.” Others have, of course. Just ask flight American Airlines flight attendants on Baldwin’s flight last December. No charges have been filed against the star at this time. [Photo: WENN.com]
There are certain rumors that you just PRAY are true. The Mill is buzzing that Nas, Common and Q-Tip are working to form a collective called “The Standard.” While none of the rappers’ reps elected to confirm news about forthcoming material from The Standard or Nas officially joining the group, the Daily News did offer that a recent conversation with Nas yielded some fruit, although vague. When asked if he would be working with the pair, Nas, who is also working on a new solo album, simply replied, “definitely.” SOURCE
