Isht just keeps getting messier between these two . Angela Stanton Sues Phaedra Parks For Defamation Angela swears she’s telling the truth. Come on you knew Phaedra was off when she took that big wad of cash outside the courtroom. According to Rhymes With Snitch Everybody knows Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Phaedra Parks is suing Angela Stanton and Vibe Magazine for defamation over Angela’s memoir, ‘Lies of Real Housewife. Now Angela turns the tables on Phaedra by filing a defamation lawsuit of her own… Angela’s lawyer, James Radford, explains the new filing, “We have filed our own claims for defamation, tortious interference with business relationships, punitive damages, and attorneys’ fees.” “Phaedra Parks’ lawsuit and the tactics employed against Ms. Stanton and her publisher have undermined Stanton’s ability to market the intellectual property that is her compelling personal narrative.” Hopefully these ladies can settle their differences on “RHOA” or “Fix My Life.” We love us some angry bird beef.
Move over, Mariah Carey and Beyonce. There’s a new diva in town. TMZ has obtained a copy of a contract user by Justin Bieber for a photo shoot earlier this month – and it outlines a series of seemingly outlandish demands. For example, no one on the set can speak to Bieber. At all. There can be no cell phones around. And no one can ask for an autograph. And… oh… there can be no Selena Gomez music on set! The document clearly and matter-of-factly states this. Put on “Come and Get It” and he’s OUT. Among the other requests listed on the rider: A deli platter A vegetable platter Herbal tea A large pack of Swedish Fish Ritz Bits Peanut Butter Sandwiches Ritz Bitz Cheese Sandwiches White undershirts, socks and tanktops We’d ask Justin Bieber fans what they think of these crazy demands… but we’re guessing we already know their answer .
Lauren Spierer’s family has filed a lawsuit against three former college students who were the last people seen with the missing Indiana University student . Spierer, a sophomore at Indiana from Greenburgh, N.Y., disappeared two years ago in Bloomington, Ind., after a night of partying with friends and acquaintances. Robert and Charlene Spierer claim in a lawsuit that their daughter’s last known interaction with Corey Rossman, Mike Beth and Jay Rosenbaum is to blame. Her interaction with the three former students ultimately resulted in the 20-year-old’s “disappearance, death or injury,” according to attorney Jason Barclay. The complaint says the men’s negligence led to the disappearance of Lauren Spierer , which remains unsolved, according to state and local police. The lawsuit was filed last month in Monroe County, Ind. The complaint seeks a jury trial against the men, who are no longer students, and monetary damages. The family’s attorney said it was not a decision they made lightly, or one made with the presumption of anything more than the documents imply. “Rob and Charlene Spierer authorized the filing of this lawsuit with great reluctance and only after we counseled them that they would lose certain legal rights if not exercised by the two-year anniversary of Lauren’s disappearance,” Barclay said in a statement. “We hope no one will misinterpret this action. Any parent in search of information about a missing child would use every resource available to them,” he added. “Therefore, we intend to use the rights afforded by the civil justice system to obtain answers to questions that have gone unanswered for too long.” “We fully expect that those with relevant information will cooperate with this process.” Fox News interviewed the Spierers last month in an interview during which they expressed doubts the men were telling the truth about their daughter’s last hours. Robert Spierer, for his part, specifically said he is not convinced Lauren ever left the men’s apartment building, which was her last known stop that night.

Paula Deen has filed a blistering response to the lawsuit that is torpedoing her career, claiming Lisa Jackson embellished or made up her racism allegations. Yes, Paula admitted using racial slurs in the deposition she gave, but remember that she has NOT admitted anything Jackson has accused her of. Deen said, under oath, that she has used racial epithets in the past, in conversations with friends and family – never in a discriminatory situation. She is fuming that Jackson, who was fired as manager of Uncle Bubba’s Seafood and Oyster House, is actually asking for damages based on racism. Citing discrimination and harassment, Lisa Jackson claims she is “African-American adjacent” – her partner has a biracial niece, she claims in the lawsuit. According to Deen, Jackson’s niece is NOT African-American , but Hispanic. Also, Paula is furious that Jackson alleges she used the n-word in connection with her brother Bubba’s wedding, yet has never offered any proof of this. Thus, Deen feels she was deposed in a lawsuit and forced to admit having used shameful – but quite possibly irrelevant – terms based on bogus claims. As we know, in the wake of the scandal, she’s been fired by Food Network … and Walmart, Caesars, Smithfield Foods, Target, and (sort of) QVC. The celebrity chef wants the case thrown out, and for a judge to throw the book at Jackson, fining her with sanctions for creating a BS harassment case. Stay tuned …
Justin Bieber is facing a new lawsuit. But here’s the good news, Beliebers: it’s not from any new scandal! In his legal filing, Jose Osmin Hernandez Duran alleges that he was trying to snap pictures of Bieber and Selena Gomez last year in Calabasas when Justin jumped out of his Mercedes and “delivered a martial arts-type kick … in the lower rib cage on the left side of his abdomen.” From there, according to TMZ, the paparazzo says Bieber punched him in the face and pushed him against a parked vehicle. Gomez returned to the scene of the suppose crime a few moments later, grabbed her cell phone and apologized for her then-boyfriend. No word on what kind of damages Duran is seeking – but the suit actually brings up many of Justin’s past deeds, from speeding in his neighborhood to allegedly stealing the SIM card of another journalist.
It’s not Omarion’s fault ya’ll got chin-checked. Omarion Sued By Fans According to TMZ Omarion is being sued by two male fans who got their a**** kicked by random thugs at an O show … and claim the singer’s to blame ’cause he didn’t provide the “tight security” he advertised. Brunel Jordonne and Kenson Sainvilus filed the lawsuit against Omarion and Ole Bar and Grill in Newburgh, NY, claiming they attended O’s concert on September 21 … and a bunch of fights broke out. According to the lawsuit, club security tried to defuse the situation by pushing everyone out to the parking lot, but the two men wanted to stay at their VIP table … where they felt safe. Jordonne and Sainvilus claim security forced them outside anyway — where the two men were then attacked by a group of strangers for no reason … and things got crazy. According to the docs, Sainvilus was punched in the head several times and security even maced him as he tried to escape the parking lot fight. Meanwhile, Jordonne claims he was kicked in the head and had to be airlifted to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Sainvilus says he was also hospitalized. The irony — the men claim Omarion advertised “tight security” on his concert poster … and now believe he miserably failed to live up to that promise. They’re now suing for unspecified damages. Calls to Omarion’s camp have not been returned. These ninjas are suing everybody outchea.
Lindsay, you need to get with your peoples and get some movie roles, endorsements something because we all know you don’t have $5 million. Lindsay Lohan Sued According to TMZ Lindsay Lohan has just been sued for $5 million she doesn’t have … all because of her highly-publicized drug problems, TMZ has learned. D.N.A.M. Apparel Industries — a clothing manufacturer — just filed the countersuit against Lindsay in response to Lindsay’s lawsuit against the company. In her lawsuit, Lindsay says she struck a business deal with D.N.A.M. in 2009 allowing them to manufacture clothes for her “6126″ clothing line — but D.N.A.M. stiffed her on a massive licensing fee. Lindsay wants $1.1 million in damages. But D.N.A.M. is now coming back at Lindsay for nearly five times that amount, insisting SHE’S the reason their business deal fell apart. According to D.N.A.M., the company did its darndest to sell their 6126 clothes to high-end third party retailers — but by spring 2010, no one would touch the brand … because Lindsay was back in rehab … and her legal problems were playing out in the media “like a Greek tragedy.” D.N.A.M. claims Lindsay’s “drug-addled image” destroyed 6126′s reputation, and rendered the clothing line completely unsellable. D.N.A.M. says it invested millions in 6126 for nothing — and now it’s suing for breach of contract and fraud, demanding at least $5 million in damages. And the irony … Lindsay’s currently back in rehab yet again. Lindsay’s attorney, Perry C. Wander, tells TMZ … “The license agreement does not have a morals clause that allows the company to suspend payment for any behavior. The contract is not in LL name thus she cannot be held personally liable. The cross claim is therefore frivolous and totally without merit and will be defended vigorously”. Damn Lindsay. You can’t sell clothes, movies, cheese….. nothing.
Tim Tebow can’t catch a break. Not even in his adopted hometown. With the quarterback having been released last month by the Jets and now looking for a job, a contingent of Jacksonville Jaguars fans have started a website that urges ownership NOT to sign the former Florida Gator. It’s called Evenifhesreleased.com, a reference to the response given by new Jaguars GM David Caldwell when asked Tebow in January: “I can’t imagine a scenario where he’d be a Jaguar, even if he’s released.” As of this morning, the site had receiver over 31,000 clicks. Explains John Caputo, president of Bold City Brigade, the organization behind the URL: “We are inspired to counter anything or anyone that chooses to attack or spread ignorance about our fan base. We aim to do it in a tasteful and tactful manner, which represents our mission and members.” On the opposite end of the Tim Tebow spectrum, some Jacksonville fans have urged President Obama to get involved in their team acquiring the ex-Heisman Trophy winner. Tebow also has offers on the table from the Lingerie Football League and Omaha Beef . Lingerie Football League and Omaha Beef
In addition to Wade Robson’s allegations , Michael Jackson’s life is back in the news this week because of his family’s wrongful death lawsuit against AEG Live. Then again, MJ’s former attorney suggested this week that Robson may have been motivated to come forward by AEG, his former concert promoter. In any case, days before his death, the King of Pop told Kenny Ortega, the producer of the ill-fated This Is It tour, that “God keeps talking to me.” Ortega and associate producer Alif Sankey testified that they became increasingly alarmed at Jackson’s frail appearance during his final rehearsals. Sankey was so worried that at one point she began crying. During a June 19, 2009 rehearsal, Jackson looked “extremely thin” and “was not speaking normally” as he was being fitted for his stage clothes. Six days later, Michael Jackson died. Sankey was so shaken up even before he passed away that she says she called Ortega “because I had a very strong feeling that Michael was dying.” “I was screaming into the phone at that point,” she added of the star’s apparently declining health. “I said he needs to be put in the hospital now.” Shortly thereafter, a meeting was called at Jackson’s house with Jackson, Dr. Conrad Murray , AEG Live President Randy Phillips and Ortega. Phillips then sent an email praising Murray, who’s now doing time for manslaughter, as a man “who I am gaining immense respect for as I deal with him more.” The email added, “This doctor is extremely successful [we check everyone out] and does not need this gig, so he [is] totally unbiased and ethical.” Therein lies the rub. In their wrongful death lawsuit, the Jackson family claims that AEG and Phillips did not properly check out Murray’s background. If they had, they would have found he was saddled with debt and was desperate to keep his high-paying job treating Jackson, even if it meant crossing the line. As such, they want $40 BILLION In damages. In the meanwhile, Wade Robson, a choreographer who knew Jackson when he was a boy, said Michael Jackson sexually abused him repeatedly. Wade made the claims years after denying the same exact thing during MJ’s molestation trial. His reason for the flip-flop at this moment in time? That he had a nervous breakdown from long-repressed sexual trauma and it torpedoed his career. He is seeking damages from MJ’s estate as a result. Michael’s lawyer during the molestation trial, Tom Mesereau, has suggested that the timing is curious to say the least, and questioned his motives.
