Adam Lambert Tweets Embarrassment, Regret Over Arrest

Adam Lambert has added to his initial, post-arrest statement. Soon after he and boyfriend Sauli Koskinen got into a drunken brawl in Finland, and were subsequently booked for assault, Lambert Tweeted a half-serious response about how alcohol and jet lag resulted in the incident. But the ex- American Idol finalist included another message last night, apparently displeased with both his tone in the initial response, and the false reports that circulated in the wake of the publicized arrest. “Violence is not to be taken lightly,” Adam wrote. “Embarrassed by drunkenness. No punches thrown, no injuries and no charges. Media always exaggerates.” Hey, we’re just glad everyone is okay. And, yes, Lambert should be embarrassed by the fight. But live, learn and drink less after a long flight. What else can you do?

Louis Vuitton Pissed at The Hangover 2 For Use of Knockoff Bag; Suing to Have Scene Pulled

Louis Vuitton is suing Warner Bros. for its use of a fake Louis Vuitton bag in The Hangover Part II, demanding that the scene in question be removed. So random. In the film, Zach Galifianakis’ Alan tells Stu not to mess with his luggage, saying, “Careful, that is … that is a Louis Vuitton.” He pronounces it Lewis . Awesome. Louis Vuitton has issues with this , for multiple reasons: Hangover 2 Clip – That is a Louis Vuitton! For one, Warner Bros. never got permission to use its precious and valuable trademark. Moreover, the luggage in the movie is a knockoff, or so the brand claims. Also awesome, if you’re a viewer. Not not for L.V. The company is seeking damages on top of an injunction prohibiting Warner Bros. from distributing The Hangover 2 going forward as long as the luggage scene appears. If you recall, the studio was also sued for its use of Mike Tyson’s face tattoo on Ed Helms’ character in the sequel, even though Tyson appeared in the original. Can’t make this stuff up …

Patti Labelle Sued For Allegedly Throwing Water At Mom & Child

Read the original:

Patti Labelle is being sued for allegedly throwing water at a mother and her 18-month-old daughter during a scuffle in a New York City apartment building. The argument supposedly began when Patti, who was renting an apartment in the building while she was appearing in the Broadway musical “Fela!”, allegedly yelled at the mother for letting her young child wander a distance away from her while she fidgeted with her belongings. LaBelle chastised the mother, Roseanna Monk, and when Monk scooped up the child and told LaBelle it was none of her business, the singer allegedly threw water on them from a bottle she was carrying and then launched into an obscenity-filled tirade. When the child started wailing, Monk reportedly made a remark to LaBelle, and the singer charged at her and tried to hit her. The Monks filed a complaint with police; no arrests were made. The lawsuit, which seeks unspecified damages, comes five months after a West Point cadet sued LaBelle over a Houston airport scuffle with her bodyguards. He said they attacked him for no reason in March 2010. She counter sued the cadet, saying he tried to get into her limousine and was drunk and using racial slurs, which he denied. Roseanna Monk’s lawyer said Monk had asked LaBelle for an apology and a donation to a children’s cancer charity but was rebuffed. The Monks feel “someone’s got to teach her even a diva can’t attack and frighten and assault regular people in the building.” SOURCE Patti LaBelle Names Ledisi As Her Successor [VIDEO]

‘Dancing With The Stars’: David Arquette Gets Cut

Justin Bieber performs his Christmas collabo with Boyz II Men on results show. By Kara Warner Kym Johnson and David Arquette Photo: ABC The field of competing couples on the 13th season of “Dancing With The Stars” was trimmed down to five Tuesday night after David Arquette and partner Kym Johnson were eliminated from the show. Nancy Grace and Tristan MacManus, who were the other couple in the bottom two, got to keep their dancing shoes for another go next week. “This has to be a mistake!” Arquette joked when his name was called. “This is my show! I love all the people I got to know and dance with. This whole production is top-notch, and thank you to all the fans!” “I’m going to take a lot away from this experience,” Arquette said in his goodbye video. ” ‘DWTS’ was an experience of a lifetime. You learn things about yourself you never thought possible.” The latest elimination show was as packed with headlining performers as ever. Teen king Justin Bieber kicked off the show with a lively performance of his hit “Never Say Never” and later returned to the dance floor with Boyz II Men to perform their Christmas collaboration “Fa La La” from his just-released holiday album, Under the Mistletoe. Bieber and the Boyz weren’t the only artists to take the “DWTS” stage Tuesday night: Rising star Christina Perri sang “Arms,” while 17-year-old ballerina and cancer survivor Victoria-Rose Viren performed a moving duet in front of Perri. Other fun performances included the encore dance of the night, the honors for which went to Team Paso Doble (Ricki Lake, Rob Kardashian and Hope Solo), who reprised their “powerful” dance to Evanescence’s “Wake Me Up Inside.” Seasoned pro Derek Hough also performed a fun routine with fellow pro Allison Holker. Heading into the eighth week of competition, Lake and Hough are sitting pretty at the top of the leaderboard, followed closely by fan favorite J.R. Martinez and his partner Karina Smirnoff, “dark horse” Rob Kardashian and partner Cheryl Burke, and Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Were you surprised to see David go? Kim Kardashian Divorce Lawsuit: Comedian Explains

Rob Delaney says Kim should ‘reconsider’ Kris Humphries divorce. By Kara Warner Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian Photo: Splash News All this hullabaloo over the news of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’ divorce is a little overwhelming. First, there was the announcement, followed by the fan reactions and support from the Kardashian siblings . Now, there’s a lawsuit . That’s right: Concerned citizen/comedian/defender of the sanctity of marriage Rob Delaney explained his logic to MTV News thusly: “I’m suing Kim Kardashian and Ryan Seacrest and E! Entertainment Television and Comcast for perpetrating what we now know to be a hoax, their marriage,” he told MTV News on Tuesday. “It can’t be real. I want them to stay married. I want them to stick it out, so as an incentive, I am suing them for monetary damages — but only $18 million, not a lot. That’s just what she was paid for the wedding episodes themselves.” Delaney said the idea for the lawsuit has been brewing ever since he started seeing advertisements for Kardashian and Humphries’ wedding special on various billboards around Los Angeles. “I would drive to work every day, and I would see the billboards for the wedding, and they were offensive to me, because they weren’t normal billboards; they were these super billboards, where they add extra stuff on and make them larger than normal,” he said. “They’re on these super billboards with them getting ready to get married like it was some royal wedding, and then for them to immediately try and dissolve it 72 days later — they renewed their vows on ‘Ellen’ at day 60! What happened in those 12 days? It must have been bad.” Delaney said he thinks the newlyweds-no-more should make a serious attempt to work out their differences. “I will say, as someone who is married, that you are going to go through periods where you hate your spouse for 12 days — longer,” he said. That’s like a blip, and then you recover, and you figure it out together and figure out what the problem was and you grow, and these things that seem insurmountable and awful, you realize they made you stronger. “I want Kim to be happy,” Delaney insisted. “I don’t hate her. She’s a person who deserves happiness, but you have to fight and work for it. As a married man and a dad and an American, I want to make her reconsider. I don’t want the money. I mean, I’m going to take the money, but I feel like almost anybody would spend it better [than she would].” What do you think about Delaney’s lawsuit? Let us know in the comments! Tonya Cooley Alleges Toothbrush Rape By Real World Co-Stars, Sues MTV

Tonya Cooley, a cast member on MTV’s Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins, is suing the network after claiming she was raped on set … with a toothbrush. Cooley filed the suit against MTV, Bunim/Murray Productions, Kenneth Santucci, Evan Starkman and others. According to her lawsuit , the two male co-stars: “Took another male participant’s toothbrush and rubbed the toothbrush around plaintiff’s genitals, including her labia, and inserting the toothbrush into plaintiff’s vagina.” Cooley says it happened while she was passed out and cameras were rolling. Tonya Cooley also says producers not only knew about the rape, they even replaced the toothbrush, never telling her what happened while she was out cold. The suit also claims that female cast members were stripped of their bathing suits and that male cast members were encouraged by producers to “inappropriately touch female cast members’ bodies, including in intimate areas.” Cooley alleges she and other cast members reported incidents of sexual abuse, but show honchos turned a blind eye … and she was later kicked off the show. According to Cooley, she was later booted from the show after slapping a cast member. She says nothing happened to the men who allegedly raped her. Cooley is suing for unspecified damages. Calls to MTV have not been returned. Obviously, if that’s even remotely true, it’s reprehensible and merits action. In less scandalous and tawdry MTV News, Beavis and Butt-Head are back .
