Brooklyn Rapper Talks Milly Rock’s Origins And Reveals The Major Advice Travis Scott Gave Him Move over Bobby Shmurda, there’s a new dance craze borne out of Brooklyn that’s sweeping social media. Thousands of people – including Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa and Rihanna – have uploaded videos of themselves doing the “Milly Rock,” and 2 Milly, the rapper behind the dance craze, said the song is all about his life and style. He said he’d been performing the dance for years at shows but only recently decided to name it the Milly Rock. “Milly Rock is a 100 percent me track,” 2 Milly told BOSSIP. “That was all me. I really didn’t look elsewhere.” 2 Milly released the single on iTunes last week, and it made the iTunes top 200 song chart. And with “Milly Rock” being the most added single on urban radio last week, the tune is poised to go mainstream. In the song, the 25-year-old raps about repping his block, Gates Avenue in Bed-Stuy, rocking Polo gear, Milly Rocking atop cars, and in one instance dancing for four days straight. “That was all real life,” he said, and part of a strategy his rap mentors Maino and Travis $cott advised him to do. “Be yourself, just be yourself,” 2 Milly said they told him. “They said the game will try to change you, people will try to change you, try to make you into what they want you to be.” 2 Milly hopes to use the song’s success to introduce his rap collective, the Stack Paper crew, to the world with a mixtape around Christmastime. “I’m not the only one in my camp,” he said. “It’s not just 2 Milly, Milly Rock. Woman Leaps From Cruise Ship During Twerk Argument Yet another cruise ship passenger has taken a dive off the side of the boat in the middle of a disagreement on-board. This time, a woman attending an EDM party cruise to Cozumel got upset during an informal twerk competition with another passenger — before leaping to the waves below . Via WPTV : A “twerk-off” dance contest preceded a woman jumping from an EDM party cruise ship during the 2015 Mad Decent Boat Party late Thursday off the coast of Cuba. Speaking exclusively with NBC 6, Graham Hansen, who knows the woman, says he spoke with a mutual friend of theirs who was also on board that cruise. “She and some other girl who was calling herself ‘the twerk queen’ were having a twerk-off,” Hansen told NBC 6 via phone. “Twerk queen started twerking on her (the missing woman’s) boyfriend, and it caused some sort of issue between the two of them.” The woman reportedly jumped from the ship not long after the dance contest escalated. Hansen says their mutual friend on board the ship is “completely and totally mortified.” Norwegian Cruises say the woman intentionally jumped off the ship in the middle of all this…but the way it’s sounding, could it be possible that she attempted some sort of twerk trick on the edge of the boat and slipped? Either way, the woman has yet to be found by the Coast Guard, the party is over and the boat has pulled a u-turn to head home. Via TMZ : Mad Decent Boat Party is turning around early and heading back to port in Miami after a passenger jumped ship at sea … TMZ has learned. The EDM dance cruise, co-founded by Diplo, was bound for Cozumel when the woman went overboard — but they’ve decided to cut the trip short, instead of partying onshore in Mexico. The captain announced the change of plans over the ship’s loudspeaker Friday morning. The party organizers say they believe the woman, who’s still missing, intentionally jumped on Thursday night. The winners have been officially unveiled at the 2015 Country Music Association Awards, or CMA Awards, airing Wednesday evening on ABC. Call it what you want, the biggest night in country lived up to its billing, and not just because of Blake Shelton-Miranda Lambert drama , either. Many lives were lost, two lives were resurrected and one life may be starting anew as a result of events on The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 4 . Ready to run all this down? Back to PRESENT DAY: Damon discovers that Oscar has been killed, making up some story to Nora and Mary Louise that he’s gone missing; a story they do not buy and which leads them to kill a Whitemore student every hour until Oscar turns up. At the dance, Nora and Mary Louise have it out over how the former has adjusted well to modern times, but the latter is struggling and figuratively smuggling the former. It’s actually a nice few moments, giving fans insight into this relationship and these characters. There’s definite potential for the Heretics to end up like The Originals and their presence has already opened up the world of Mystic Falls in a much needed way. Nora and Mary Louise make up in the end, sharing a slow dance after Stefan and Caroline teamed up to force Nora to siphon away Valerie’s vervain spell. Stefan can now touch his girlfriend… and touch her he does! They totally have sex. While this is taking place, Damon takes Oscar to the morgue and Bonnie successfully brings him back to life with The Phoenix Stone, though he seems to have no memory and is REALLY hungry now that he’s alive again. But Damon does successfully return him to Lily and receive Elena’s coffin in exchange. Lily gives her son a speech about how he needs to find out who he is without Elena at some point, prompting Damon to drink a lot of wine… write in his journal… and then send Elena’s coffin off with Tyler. Random, right? But maybe that explains why Damon is in Brooklyn in three years. Perhaps he chose to sleep next to Elena until she wakes up. Speaking of waking up: we end the episode with Bonnie also using the Stone to bring Jo back to life. It cuts to black as soon as her eyes open. Whoa there! What will this mean on The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 5 ? We’ll be tuning in to find out.
