‘My perfume was designed for women, but a lot of my gay friends wear it,’ she wrote after photo of perfume’s bottle leaked online. By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga Photo: A photo of the bottle for Lady Gaga ‘s first-ever fragrance, Fame, leaked on Wednesday, but rather than lash out at excited fashion editors and bloggers for putting the design out there ahead of schedule, Mother Monster took to her Twitter to open up a bit about the perfume. “Looks like photos of my perfume are being leaked. Oh you fashion editors I could just crinkle my hands at you!” she wrote, before posting her own photo of the bottle. The container is deep purple/black with a gold, spiked top. (How very Mother Monster!) The front of the box indicates that it is a “black fluid.” Gaga then tweeted the back of the box, which describes what all her Little Monsters will smell like when they wear it. The description explains that the fragrance has notes of “tears of belladonna, crushed heart of tiger orchidea with a black veil of incense, pulverized apricot and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops.” Here’s what it smells like! twitter.com/ladygaga/statu… — Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) June 13, 2012 When asked by a fan on Twitter if Fame will be followed by a men’s cologne, Gaga replied, “My perfume was designed for women, but a lot of my gay friends wear it.” Fame has long been in the works. Gaga originally signed a fragrance deal with Coty Inc. in September 2010, and rumor had it that it would be called Monster . Stephen Mormoris, senior vice president of global marketing in the Coty Beauty division, said at the time that they wanted to work with Gaga because she is a “phenomenon” and “a fascinating cultural force” and he hoped her mass appeal would “electrify” the market on behalf of his company. In early 2011, months after the deal was announced , Gaga had a very colorful description for the perfume, noting that it would smell “like an expensive hooker.” “[Blood and semen] is in the perfume but it doesn’t smell like it,” she told an Australian radio station at the time. “You just get sort of the after feeling of sex from the semen and the blood is sort of primal. And the blood was taken from my own blood sample so it’s like a sense of having me on your skin.” The fragrance will hit shelves in September, just in time for her next turn as a Vogue cover girl, MTV Style reports. September is shaping up to be a big month for the singer as she will also announce the name of her next album then. Related Videos Lady Gaga: Inside The Outside Related Artists Lady Gaga

From crumping to alien space dancing, sexy ladies stole the show at the Salt Lake City auditions. By Natasha Chandel Witney Carson on “So You Think You Can Dance” Photo: Season nine of “So You Think You Can Dance” just got hot … real hot. The Salt Lake City auditions not only brought forth some stupendous dancers but also scored the first tickets on judge Mary Murphy’s infamous hot-tamale train. Ballroom was the predominantly featured dance style Wednesday night, although we saw glimpses of everything from crumping to burlesque jazz to (you guessed it) alien space dance. In the audition episodes thus far , the men have managed to stand out just a little more than the women. Well, Salt Lake City just tipped the scale in favor of the ladies, leaving judge Nigel Lythgoe and guest judge Adam Shankman drooling. Here’s our “tamales” rundown from last night’s show. Hot Tamales Kicking off the show in high gear was Witney Carson. Not only did her sensual cha-cha tango receive praise for its technique, she made slaves out of the judges. “I am a slave for you,” Shankman proclaimed, while Lythgoe commented on her “smoking-hot face” and compared her to season 3 ballroom favorite Anya Barnis. But the greatest compliment may have been in the form of a simple, shrill scream from Mary Murphy declaring her the season’s first ticket holder on the hot-tamale train. Carson wasn’t the only dancer awarded a golden ticket. Deanna Tomasetta was dubbed “special,” giddy but super-fierce crumper Mariah Spears was called “tremendous,” and burlesque jazz dancer Rachel Applehans was applauded for her confidence. Odd Tamales No reality competition series is complete without its share of oddballs, and the Salt Lake City auditions found its odd tamale in Lynn Gravatt. A former aerospace engineer, Gravatt gave it all up to pursue her passion for dance. Alien space dance, to be exact. Claiming “something” comes through her to make her move, Gravatt performed enthusiastically for the judges. Of course, they didn’t put her through, but Gravatt had achieved her goal of showing the world you can be anything you want to be. Odd things do come in green packages. Gene Lonardo sure did. The real shocker of the night, Lonardo decided to paint himself green and perform the life story of a male praying mantis. Yes, you read correctly. What seemed like a disaster waiting to happen actually turned out to be the surprise of the night. “You’re so brilliant,” Shankman told the unbelievably agile dancer, whom the judges felt would be a treat for contemporary choreographer Sonya Tayeh. Sad Tamales There were a few sad stories interspersed throughout the show, including that of Dareian Kujawa, who was kicked out of his home and disowned for his pursuit of dance. Leroy Martinez, a heavier-set dancer, had overcome a rough childhood and was now giving back through an after-school dance program. Although both put forth commendable efforts, projecting true spirit, neither was granted a golden ticket. Martinez did receive a standing ovation from the judges and the crowd. Contestant Adrien Lee had a different story. After being cut at the last stage in season seven of “SYTYCD,” Lee was disheartened, as was Murphy, who had the tough job of delivering the bad news. After taking a year off, he decided to try again and won yet another ticket and another chance to make his dreams come true in Las Vegas. Salt Lake City was the final audition city before the big cuts in Vegas, and it definitely featured some of the sexiest dancers of the lot. Whether any will actually make it to the top 20 remains to be seen, but next week we will be one step closer to finding out as “So You Think You Can Dance” moves on to Sin City. Who was your favorite dancer on “So You Think You Can Dance”? Let us know in the comments.

In their first appearance at the festival, RHCP unleash raucous energy. By Mary J. DiMeglio Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Anthony Kiedis Photo: Rya Backer/ MTV News MANCHESTER, Tennessee — In a two-hour set that absolutely flew by, the Red Hot Chili Peppers proved Saturday night that they’re still the hardest-working band in the business. Their incomparable energy was on full display in their first Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival appearance as they tore through their nearly 30-year catalogue. A little more than two months into a tour schedule that has them performing nonstop through the end of November, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees opened with “Monarchy of Roses,” the first track on their most-recent release, I’m With You . “Factory of Faith” and “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie” also represented that disc. Highlights included the RHCP classics “Give It Away,” “Suck My Kiss,” “Under the Bridge” and their cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Higher Ground.” As if his bass playing isn’t impressive enough, Flea deftly made his way across the stage in a handstand. The bassist clearly caught Bonnaroo fever, gushing, “I feel peace and love and kindness everywhere I walk around here.” He praised the weekend’s earlier performances from St. Vincent, Dumpstaphunk, Santigold and the Roots, calling Radiohead’s Friday night set “so f—ing beautiful.” RHCP, who will headline this year’s Lollapalooza , also pulled out “If You Have to Ask” from 1991’s Blood Sugar Sex Magik and By the Way cut “Throw Away Your Television.” On a very warm night that had festivalgoers running through the fountain at 2:30 a.m., Skrillex brought huge smiles to the faces of EDM fans. Also Saturday, metal legend Alice Cooper’s show packed That Tent, which earlier in the day hosted a succession of hard rock and punk acts, including Bad Brains, Flogging Molly, Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan’s Puscifer and Danzig. Hip-hop also had a strong showing, as the Roots, Das Racist and GZA performing Liquid Swords with Grupo Fantasma all got heads nodding. Childish Gambino projected the lyrics to “You See Me” on the giant screen behind him so his fan boys and girls could sing along. Friday featured Radiohead, Feist, Ludacris, Foster the People, and Mos Def and Talib Kweli as Black Star. The festival wraps up Sunday (June 10) with the Beach Boys, Phish, the Shins, Fun. and Bon Iver. Are you at Bonnaroo? Share your review in the comments below! Bieber gets his dance on with new Believe track, which dropped Tuesday. By Jocelyn Vena Ludacris and Justin Bieber Photo: Getty Images Justin Bieber has re-teamed with his pal Ludacris on “All Around the World,” off his forthcoming album Believe , and this party track is a far cry from the sugary sweet puppy-love track “Baby.” Grinding, fist-pumping and produced by the Messengers, the song sounds a bit like it could have been recorded by Bieber’s mentor Usher. A likely contender for the song of the summer, he’ll no doubt have fans dancing along with the track. It’s a definite party anthem, full of bleeps, dubstep breakdowns and swirling production. “All around the world/ People want to be loved, yeah/ ‘Cause all around the world/ They’re no different than us,” Bieber proclaims on the club-banging chorus. When Luda pops in to drop his verse, he’s no longer rapping about first love as he did on “Baby.” He’s definitely upped the swagger for this track, mirroring Bieber’s more mature stance on the track. He spits, “Once again, dynamic duos are back!/ JB, Luda!/ I love everything about you/ You’re imperfectly perfect!/ Everyone’s itching for beauty/ But they’re just scratching the surface.” For the single’s artwork, Bieber is holding an acoustic guitar over his shoulder, standing on the surface of the world, the moon glowing behind him. The acoustic guitar is an interesting choice given how much of a dance song “All Around the World” is. This is the third song dropped ahead of the album’s release on June 19. He already has girls swooning with “Boyfriend” and “Die in Your Arms.” According to Aceshowbiz.com , Bieber will release another new track, “As Long as You Love Me,” on June 12. “All Around the World” isn’t just the name of a new Bieber song. It also happens to be the title of his prime-time special airing June 21 on NBC . The hour-long show will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at his global promotional tour in support of the album. And given the chaos he’s caused everywhere he’s been, including stops in Norway and Paris , it should make for some interesting viewing.
