Dancing with the Stars: Handicapping the Final Four

Just four couples remain, and just one episode tonight before the 10th season finale and presentation of the cherished Mirror Ball trophy next week. It’s crunch time on Dancing with the Stars. Below, we break down the four pairs left standing and handicap their odds of bringing home the glory … Chad Ochocinco & Cheryl Burke Why they’ll win: Because #85 doesn’t back down from any challenge, and he and Cheryl have formed one of the best partnerships in recent years. They’ve been consistent and significantly better than most of the field so far. Why they won’t: They get 7s and 8s. Nicole and Evan get 9s and 10s. If Chad and Cheryl advanced to the finals this week, it would be a surprise. Odds: 25-1 Erin Andrews & Maksim Chmerkovskiy Why they’ll win: Fan support. Sexual chemistry. Regardless of whether Maksim Chmerkovskiy is seeing Erin Andrews nude , there is heat on the dance floor. Not just as gimmicks, either. Erin has thrived in Maks’ challenging routines. Why they won’t: You need to be brilliant, not just very good; Judges dock points for their sexy routines; Good looks could also work against them. Odds: 12-1 Evan Lysacek & Anna Trebunskaya Why they’ll win: They put up one of two perfect scores this season, and he’s Nicole’s top competitor in terms of technical proficiency, skill and agility. If he has a great week, and/or her fans don’t vote en masse, he could pull an upset. Why they won’t: Likely needs a 30. That’s a tall order. Have had more slip-ups and shown more flaws, albeit relatively few, than Nicole and Derek. Odds: 4-1 Nicole Scherzinger & Derek Hough Why they’ll win: She’s the most skilled, already a professional dancer and a perfectionist. The ladies love Derek, and don’t dislike the Pussycat Doll. Why they won’t: No reason. Odds: 6:5 Who do you want to win Dancing with the Stars?

Watch: 7 year old girls dance to a raunchy number

A very controversial video of 7 year old girls dancing to the tune of Grammy Award Winning “Single Ladies” by Beyonce Knowles alarms parents who thinks that the kid’s outfits went too sexy and skimpy that it looks very inappropriate for their age. The dance troupe, called Precision Dance, hails from Orange County, and definitely “put a ring on it” during the competition in Pomona on April 10. The girls are wearing bikini tops and hot pants while they bump, grind, and gyrate, lip-syncing “If you like it, then you shoulda put a ring on it.” Larry Peters, executive vice president of The Hozman Group and rep for the dance competition, says the controversy was blown out of proportion. “There has been a great deal of controversy regarding this performance, and it has been taken out of context. It is a little sensitive now, to say the least,” Peters said. “All the dance troupes do so many different dances, it is a very personal choreography and expression for every troupe and individual. These girls were amazing that day,” Peters says, adding, “They were two minutes of an eight hour performance event.” Melissa Presch, the mom of one little dancer and Cory Miller, the father of another child in the group spoke to Inside Edition about the controversy. “I’m shocked, quite frankly, that people would suggest such things and say such things about 8 and 9 year old girls,” said Melissa Presch claiming the girls got their moves from the ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel’ movie — not Beyonce’s music video. Miller added, “As a father, when you’re watching your kid, no. You’re looking at it as a proud kid who has really high energy, who doesn’t really know what she’s doing.” Peters was in the audience during the group’s performance and admits, “It was the very first WOD event I had ever attended, and I can tell you the cheering and screaming you heard on the video was from other parents and dance teams that were just blown away by their dance performance and precision. There was NOTHING provocative about what they were doing.” Now, you can admit these girls certainly can dance, but is it age appropriate? You be the judge.
