Dancing With the Stars: New Cast Photos!
Candace Cameron-Bure wants her Facebook haters to know that she sees their comments and is not impressed with the vitriol regarding her religious beliefs. Having joined the Dancing with the Stars cast for Season 18, the former Full House star is back in the spotlight, and for her, this hasn’t been totally positive. “[L]ately, as my FB page has been growing rapidly with new ‘likes,’ it’s becoming a sensitive issue for me to post because of the dread in my heart,” she wrote. “Knowing I am going to get discouraging comments,” she says, makes it less fun to even post on her page, which has more than half a million Likes. “[A]ll I see is a bunch of religious people throwing around bible verses attacking each other,” she writes, with non-religious people then going after them for it. Cameron defended her religious beliefs , but said that is is never her intention to make her Facebook page all about them or to cause any sort of controversy: “I share with you what is most precious in my life; my family!” “My Facebook Page is not a Christian blog, it’s not a Jesus FB page and it’s not a place I’m going to flood with constant scriptural photos or only Christian articles.” “It doesn’t mean that because I don’t do those things, that Jesus isn’t the love of my life. My Facebook is a reflection of the true me, faulty and all!” Celebrity Siblings Open Slideshow 1. I wont ever stop being the real me to be an illusion of a better but fake Christian version of myself.” Back in January, Cameron-Bure’s Christian values made headlines after she told the Huffington Post that she takes a “submissive” role in her marriage. She clarified that she meant the Biblical definition of “submissive,” which she claimed has more of a “meek, humble” connotation as opposed to a “weak” one. She is also the younger sister of Kirk Cameron , whose outspoken anti-gay views have caused controversy more than a few times over the years. Think this fervor will only intensify as she takes to the parquet floor on Dancing with the Stars? All we can do is stay tuned … and really hope not.

Brooke Burke-Charvet will not be by Tom Bergeron’s side on Dancing With the Stars in 2014, and it was not the co-host’s choice to bid the show farewell. The 42-year-old confirmed her abrupt, surprising departure Friday. “I have enjoyed seven seasons co-hosting DWTS but understand the need for change considering the position of the show at this juncture,” she said in a statement. Putting a positive spin on it as best she can, Brooke Burke says: “I’ve always been one to embrace change and looking forward to pursuing opportunities I previously wasn’t able to entertain because of contractual obligations.” But in an appropriately-worded parting shot, she adds, “I’ve seen my fair share of shocking eliminations in the ballroom but this one takes the cake.” Sources tell E! that Burke-Charvet had no idea her job was on the line until ABC apparently informed her Friday afternoon she wouldn’t be returning . “We can confirm that Brooke Burke-Charvet will not be joining us next season,” DWTS executive producer Conrad Green said in his own statement. “She’s been a wonderful part of the Dancing with the Stars family since her triumphant win in season seven and will unquestionably be missed by our entire team.” “We’d like to thank Brooke for her years of great service.” Burke-Charvet won season seven with her partner Derek Hough, then later replaced Samantha Harris as cohost for the most recent seven seasons. DWTS returns in its new one-night format when Season 18 kicks off Monday, March 17. At least no one will boot Brooke out of this exclusive club … 23 Hottest Celebrity MILFs Open Slideshow 1. The Voice results are in, and the field is down to six. Last night on The Voice results show, America cut two more singers loose, and with the aid of the Instant Save, brought another back from the brink. Who did the voters send to the bottom three after Monday’s performances and who did viewers rescue via Twitter on the final minutes of The Voice? Let’s get right to the results below … The first five singers sent through were … Cole Vosbury! Will Champlin! James Wolpert! Tessanne Chin! Jacquie Lee! That left Caroline Pennell, Ray Boudreaux and Matthew Schuler on the block. One stayed, two went home. Find out the results after the jump … Ray and Caroline have been eliminated. Matthew Schuler got the Instant Saved. Caroline was the last member of Team Cee Lo, while Team Blake has one left in the running in Vosbury. It’s Adam and Christina’s show this fall! Matthew’s presence in the bottom three was surprising to the coaches, but among those three, there was little doubt Twitter would rescue him. Did the social media component finally prove its purpose by allowing America to save one of The Voice Season 5 stars? Or should he have gone? Who will win The Voice this season? Share your comments below!
