Dancing With the Stars Results: Who Won the Mirror Ball?

For the three remaining Dancing With the Stars competitors, it’s all come down to this. The guts, the glitter and the glory were all on the line Tuesday. With Bill Engvall finally eliminated the night before, Corbin Bleu, Amber Riley and Jack Osbourne comprised the only stars left in the ABC competition. Jack came in as the underdog, with Corbin and Amber both in strong position to claim the crown. How did the Dancing With the Stars results shake out? The winning duo were the only ones who scored a perfect 30 in their final dance, a samba-quickstep combo that Len Goodman called “bedazzling.” The other two pairs scored all nines, for 27 apiece. As predicted, Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke finished third, leaving Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff and Amber Riley and Derek Hough to duke it out. So which one of the pairs claimed the Mirror Ball? Amber and Derek! Dancing With the Stars Finale: Who Won? “Anything that scares me I want to do,” the Glee actress said after her victory. “You can do whatever, whatever, whatever you put your mind to.” It was the fifth win for Derek, while both Jack and his sister Kelly Osbourne came in third in their respective seasons on Dancing With the Stars . “I’m definitely not a better dancer than my sister, for one,” Jack said regarding that particular fun fact about his sibling and himself. “We’re both tied.” Bleu, who showed happiness for his competitor as well as gratitude for the show, told the crowd, “I thank god for this experience. I thank my family.” What do you think? Did Amber deserve to win DWTS?   Yes! Team Amber!! No, should’ve been Corbin! No, should’ve been Jack! View Poll »

Dancing With the Stars Results: Fab Four Hit the Floor, One Shown the Door

For the remaining Dancing With the Stars competitors, it’s come down to this. One final week of ballroom madness and four celebs still in the hunt for the title. After 10 weeks of pain, progress, paso dobles and stunning Dancing with the Stars results, it’s Corbin Bleu, Jack Osbourne, Bill Engvall and Amber Riley. Those four had one last chance to wow the judges on Monday with three routines: one judges’ pick, one samba relay and the always-popular freestyle. One star was eliminated at the end of the show, while three remaining couples will perform a fusion dance before a winner is crowned on Tuesday night. So who’s in and who’s out? Amber Riley, after two 30s, was announced as moving to the finale. No surprise there. Ditto Corbin Bleu. So it came down to Jack and Bill Monday night. At the end of the episode, Engvall and partner Emma Slater ended up with the lowest score. But did the fans save them as they have in weeks past? Not this time. Engvall and Slater are headed home. “It just goes to prove to me there is God because I don’t think I could make one more dance,” Engvall told the crowd just after learning his fate. “[Emma] is like my second daughter now. We just had a blast … It’d be totally remiss if I didn’t thank [my wife] Gail. This has been a lifetime experience.” “I will never forget this. To all the fans … thank you.” Scores for the Dancing With the Stars finale: Amber Riley: 64 (30, 4, 30) Corbin Bleu: 62 (27, 5, 30) Jack Osbourne: 57 (24, 3, 30) Bill Engvall: 51 (24, 2, 25) Dancing With the Stars Results: Bill Engvall Out Did Bill deserve to go home on DWTS?   Yes, but it was a good run! Mark Ballas: Julianne Hough "Hypocritical" in DWTS Critique

Childhood friends Mark Ballas and Julianne Hough may be in a little bit of a tiff after last night’s Dancing With the Stars , in which she guest judged. After performing as a dance pro for five seasons, Julianne filled in for Len Goodman Monday, and weighed in on Ballas’ foxtrot with Christina Milian. Christina Milian and Mark Ballas – Dancing With the Stars Week 4 “There were moments where I felt like choreography-wise, I felt like it was two people dancing side-by-side rather than together,” she said on the show. “So I really want to see [Milian] shine. I’ve danced with Mark.” “You have to stand in front to make sure you’re seen.” Afterward, Ballas didn’t sound too thrilled with that. “The one comment to me that was a little funny is that I make it all about me… all the critiques were at me, not [Milian]. So I thought that was a little hypocritical,” he told Us . He had plenty of praise for Julianne Hough , however: “I think she was very insightful and gave great tips on lines and how to express. We’ve had a lot of guest judges and I thought out of all of them she was one of the best.” “So that, I love,” he said of the two-time Dancing With the Stars Mirror Ball champion. I was the one who kind of got the heat, but that’s OK! It’s fine.” The two go back a long way. She and brother Derek Hough moved to London to train with Ballas’ famous parents, dance champions Shirley and Corky Ballas. Julianne and Mark paired up for the Junior Olympics and both won medals for ballroom dancing. The two of them and Derek all went on to join DWTS . But Hough claimed she was “mentally and physically abused” while training in London, sparking rumors that she was pointing her finger at the Ballas family.

Julianne Hough Returns to Dancing With the Stars, Guest Judges Top 10

It was a very special week on Dancing with the Stars, and not just because the long-running show bid an inspirational farewell to contestant Valerie Harper . Two-time Mirror Ball winner Julianne Hough returned to the ballroom! Len Goodman wasn’t available to judge Monday night, so none other than Julianne traded in her dancing shoes for judging paddles, if only for a week. She also took part in the dancing, briefly, in the show intro. Watch: Julianne Hough Returns to Dancing With the Stars The opening group number ended with an introduction of the judges, with a special solo for Julianne Hough , who also plugged her new film Paradise . Julianne was kind, but not unreasonably so for a judge. She focused more on the stars, so there’d be no conflict of interest with judging her brother Derek. Bill Nye Eliminated on Dancing With the Stars, Goes Out in Style

Bill Nye the Science Guy was given the boot on last night’s Dancing With the Stars results show, but at least he went out in style with his final routine. After ignoring doctors’ orders to stay off his torn quadricep, the 57-year-old opted instead to dance a modified “jazz” routine to Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky.” It was … awkward. And ridiculous, yet brave and sort of awesome. Bill Nye and Tyne Stecklein – Dancing with the Stars Karina Smirnoff spoke of the “superb job” Bill’s partner Tyne Stecklein did at constructing a story and dance around essentially a man with a peg leg. It was pretty impressive, if you look at it from Tyne’s end. Despite Nye’s best efforts at wooing the judges with his strange, hobbled sex-robot routine, the couple was the second to be voted off the show in Season 17. Do you think Bill deserved to go home last night?   Yes. America (and the judges) got it right. No! Should’ve been Christina! No! Should’ve been Brant! Tyra Banks Poses as Super Models: Real, Raw, Amazing

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne should be feeling very good about themselves these days. That’s because Tyra Banks has posted three new pictures to Twitter in which she makes just like these super models, recreating their poses and looks for a spread in honor of New York Fashion Week. “I’ve put my own spin on #NYFW w/a photo tribute to some of the fiercest #SuperModels ever. Unretouched. Real. Raw,” Banks tweeted along with the images. Here’s a look at Tyra’s transformation into her “idol,” Crawford. Pretty incredible, no? Photographer Udo Spreitzenbarth snapped the pics and will include them as part of an exhibition, “Tyra Banks Presents: 15,” that is now open at Jack Studios in New York City. The Situation: Addiction, Rehab Stint Stemmed From Dancing With the Stars Injury

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino says his addiction to painkillers and subsequent rehab stay dates back to his short-lived stint on Dancing With the Stars. That was 2010, and he says he’s still battling to stay sober. While his people initially insisted the MTV star was just suffering from exhaustion, Sitch eventually confirmed he was hooked on opiates back in 2012. Now, the 32-year-old is talking about his battle with prescription drugs and how his addiction was so bad, he could barely dress himself at his worst. “All I had to do was get dressed for a family function and I couldn’t do that. The shirt was laid out, the belt, the pants, everything. The shower was on.” The Situation describes that as his low point, for good reason. “I couldn’t even get out of bed,” he recalls, and that was when he realized he had to seek help. “If I can’t [get dressed], how am I going to continue?” Even crazier, the former Jersey Shore star says he’s still on medication for his injury – it’s unclear how he got hurt so badly during that brief time on DWTS . He’s also a paid spokesman for the company that makes his pills, but he participates in program that helps spread awareness about opiate addictions. He also sees a counselor regularly to stay on track. As far as his overuse of spray tanning, habit of meddling in other people’s personal business and propensity for nailing grenades, those are still issues.

Riddick Reviews: Filling Up on Diesel

Will the third time be a charm for Vin Diesel as Riddick? With the third installment of this action franchise hitting theaters today, movie critics around the country seem torn in their analysis. Is it an embarrassing clunker? Or is it simply… Riddick , a film aiming for fun more than an Oscar nomination? Scroll down for a look at the most prominent review… Riddick Movie Trailer This is not one of those Johnny-come-lately sequels preoccupied with getting a new audience up to speed on where the story was. It’s about living in the moment, in the now, and killing in the now. – The Chicago Tribute “Sloppy” is a kind word, actually, for the ridiculously clumsy dialogue in ”Riddick,” the third and latest installment of the sci-fi saga. – The Associated Press Faithful to the template if not the spirit of previous installments, this flabby second sequel barely manages to advance Riddick’s considerable personal mythology. – The Hollywood Reporter Imagine Alien, only told from the perspective of the alien, and he’s played by a movie star, and at heart he’s an okay dude. A cute idea, perhaps, but kind of a wash when it comes to narrative tension. – Vulture Twohy succeeds in staging moments both tense and funny, but they’re fewer and farther between than one would hope, and the dialogue is served up with a heaping helping of cheese, especially when delivered in Diesel’s low-frequency growl. – Entertainment Weekly
