Diddy Reveals Dirty Money Coming Home Tour Dates

By Jayson Rodriguez Photo: John Shearer/ WireImage Diddy is taking his Last Train to Paris on the road as the Bad Boy Records CEO announced tour dates in support of his recent effort. The 20-city Coming Home trek kicks off next month, on April 13 in Minneapolis, and finds Diddy-Dirty Money travelling to Chicago, Toronto, New York and Los Angeles before wrapping up May 15 in St. Louis. The tour will be more “intimate” than his previous road shows, Diddy says in a YouTube clip promotion the outing. “You’re gonna be able to see my eyes,” Diddy says. “You’re gonna be able to smell my cologne. You’re gonna be able to look at the ladies and see their caramel complexion. You’re gonna be able to hear their voices. You’re gonna be up close and personal, baby. It’s super HD.” In December, Diddy released the long-delayed Last Train to Paris project to a top-10 debut. He took to YouTube to thank his fans their unwavering support. His last album, 2006’s Press Play , also had a strong first week, landing at #1 on the Billboard albums chart after its release. “Anybody that knows me, it’s rare when I’m extra happy, but today … this last two weeks, I’ve just been blown away by all the support that I’ve gotten from you guys,” he said. “You already know I deal with a lot of hate, and I talk about that. Kings Of Leon Postpone Tour Dates Due To Drummer’s Surgery

By Gil Kaufman Nathan Followill Photo: Stephen Lovekin/ Getty Images Brawny Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill was beaten up online last week after he made some comments about “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy that were considered homophobic (Followill later apologized and said he did not mean the comments in that way). But now the timekeeper for the family band is nursing some other wounds as he recovers from surgery on a torn bicep that has forced the band to cancel scheduled tour dates in March. “Sorry to all the fans in Australia and South Africa,” Followill tweeted on Friday. “My bum wing needs more time to heal but we’ll be back later this year. Sorry again.” He was addressing those who had bought tickets for the band’s shows down under and in South Africa, where KOL were scheduled to perform throughout March. Followill has been chronicling his shoulder issues since early January, beginning with a tweet on the 12th in which he announced, “First day at the doc 4 my shoulder diagnosis post surgery. Fingers crossed that I can get back on the drums soon and restart the gun show.” The news was not good at that point, with Followill complaining about having to spend another week with his arm in a sling. The sling came off a week later, though, and by January 21, Followill said he was starting to work on his mobility in physical therapy. “1st day of rehab just kicked my ass,” he wrote. “I am one sore puppy. I can’t wait to be back to normal. I miss 2 armed activities. Especially hugging.” A spokesperson for the band confirmed that the dates in South Africa and Australia had been canceled. Christina Aguilera Postponed Her 20-City US Tour

American pop singer and songwriter Christina Aguilera has postponed her forthcoming US tour for more preparations. According to Aguilera’s representative, the tour around the 20 cities across USA has been moved to 2011 for the reason that the artist is busy with her debut film, Burlesque, and her new album, Bionic. The time between the album release and tour dates Aguilera is very short and she wouldn’t have time to rehearse the show. A new tour will be announced later this year. By Gil Kaufman U2’s Bono Photo: Kevin Mazur/WireImage The good news is that after Friday’s successful emergency back surgery, U2 singer Bono was discharged from Ludwig Maximilians-University Hospital in Munich on Monday. The bad news is that in order to recover fully, the 50-year-old singer (born Paul Hewson) is under doctor’s orders to start a rehabilitation and recuperation program that will keep him sidelined for at least eight weeks, forcing the postponement of the band’s 16 North American 360 Tour dates until 2011. According to a statement from tour producer Live Nation, the concerts, which were to kick off in Salt Lake City on June 3 and run through a July 19 show at New Jersey’s Meadowlands Stadium, have been pushed to an unspecified date next year. “Bono suffered severe compression of the sciatic nerve,” explained Dr. Muller Wohlfahrt, one of the singer’s doctors. “On review of his MRI scan, I realized there was a serious tear in the ligament and a herniated disc, and that conservative treatment would not suffice. I recommended Bono have emergency spine surgery.” The surgeon who performed the procedure, Professor Joerg Christian Tonn added, “Bono was referred to me by Dr. Muller Wohlfahrt late last week with a sudden onset disease. He was already in severe pain with partial paralysis in the lower leg. The ligament surrounding the disc had an 8mm tear and during surgery we discovered fragments of the disc had traveled into the spinal canal.

Christina Aguilera Postpones Summer Tour

Brown/ Getty Images You’re going to have to wait until next year to see Christina Aguilera live. The singer announced on Monday that she was calling off plans for an already announced summer tour to promote her upcoming Bionic album and pushing the dates back to an unspecified time in 2011. Citing a busy schedule that includes her involvement in the film “Burlesque” (in theaters this November) and promotional duties for the June 8 release of her new album, Bionic — which leaked onto the Internet on Monday — Aguilera’s camp issued a statement about the postponement. “The singer felt she needed more time to rehearse the show and with less than a month between the album release and tour dates this wasn’t possible,” it reads. New dates for the tour are expected later this year. A spokesperson for tour promoter Live Nation could not be reached for additional comment at press time. The tour was slated to kick off on July 15 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, and wrap up on August 19 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, California, and was to feature opening act Leona Lewis. The singer’s first new album since 2006’s Back to Basics has gotten off to a modest start, with first single “Not Myself Tonight” peaking at #23 on the Billboard Hot 100. The accompanying transgressive video has stirred up controversy due to claims by Lady Gaga supporters that it borrows some of the reigning pop diva’s signature moves. Your best chance to see Aguilera in the meantime is to tune in to Wednesday night’s “American Idol” finale and the June 6 MTV Movie Awards , where she is also scheduled to perform.
