So if you guys haven’t heard, Ariel Winter — aka the daughter from Modern Family that’s not Sarah Hyland — has been in the news a lot recently. Apparently Ariel’s sister is trying to get custody of her after claims that her mom emotionally abused her. Since I felt kinda bad hearing that, I wanted to offer my help. Her sister’s pretty cute, so maybe we can babysit Ariel together. And if she wants to bring Sofia Vergara along too, that’s cool with me. What? I’m trying to seem sensitive here. Isn’t it working? Here’s a lil’ positivity for the evening. Charles Tillman and his wifey Jackie are getting ready to have their fourth child in a couple of weeks. Tillman tweeted, “God, family, football. Baby is coming Monday. Don’t worry, I’ll be there Sunday.” He repeated the sentiment over on ESPN’s Sports Center in an interview earlier this week as well. Charles had let his teammates know that he may not be playing in the game this coming Sunday and he confirmed he was hesitant to play; “This game is important to me, but after what we went through with my middle child Tiana, to me football is second … It’ll always be second or third in my life. That was a great lesson learned, to teach me that family — when I’m done playing football — my family will always be there for me”. Ordered out of her house by a a judge while authorities investigate her mother for abuse , Ariel Winter is “doing well,” according Amir Pichvai, the 14-year-old’s guardianship attorney. Winter, who stars on ABC’s Modern Family as Alex Dunphy, is currently residing with sister Shanelle Gray, with a hearing schedule for November 20 to revisit the unfortunate situation. “Ariel is doing well and she has a lot of people who are loving her and supporting her at this time, and I’m pretty confident that she’ll fare well through all of this,” says Pichvai . “She is obviously a very smart and articulate young lady and an accomplished actress.” Late yesterday, Chrystal Workman issued a statement in which she expressed love for her daughter; denied abuse charges; and said all she had done is take issue with Winter dating someone four years her elder.
Despite being a compulsive liar and having no one else to blame but herself for probably two-thirds of her problems, Lindsay Lohan remains convinced police are out to get her. Lohan, who is facing jail time for her most recent probation violation, is telling friends that the cops have a vendetta against her and will stop at nothing to bring her down. Best of all, Lindsay is STILL CLAIMING that she wasn’t driving when her Porsche slammed into a truck in June. Officials do not concur and will charge her with lying to police . Yet witnesses say she was in fact behind the wheel . Obviously. Lindsay is said to be “terrified” of going back to jail, especially since Judge Stephanie Sautner made it clear she would revoke her probation and send her ass back there. If she breaks the law again, that is. Sautner can revoke probation on mere suspicion – without having to wait for a conviction – of a crime, but it remains to be seen if she will. She’s tough, but fair after all. Lindsay says she’s done a good job obeying the law since her no contest plea in the jewelry heist case, which tells you a lot about her self-perception problems. And the singer was in a joking mood afterward when asked by Us Weekly about his daughter’s engagement to Liam Hemsworth . “Liam asked if he could have my daughter’s hand in marriage, and I said yes if I could be in his brother’s next movie,” Billy Ray said , referring to Chris Hemsworth and his very successful run of Thor , The Avengers and Cabin in the Woods . The country star then continued to play around, but revealed something very real and interesting in the process: “Now, they [Miley and Liam] are going to have three weddings, so I’m thinking one movie with Chris, then we got the sequel to Liam’s new movie [ Hunger Games: Catching Fire ] coming out. They have got three weddings, that has to be three movies for me.” Three weddings?!? Who does Miley think she is, Kim Kardashian ? In all seriousness, though, Cyrus said he was recently inspired by Indianapolis Colts Coach Chuck Pagano , who is battling cancer and whose locker room speech last week went viral. Said Billy Ray: “He told his team he wanted another Super Bowl trophy and he had two daughters he wanted to walk down the aisle. When I saw that last night, this guy that’s battling Leukemia, and the fact that he is talking to his team saying, ‘I want to hoist that trophy and walk my daughters down the aisle.’ I immediately texted Miley and said, ‘I just want you to know, whenever you’re ready, I’m going to be very proud to walk you down that aisle.’ She was like, ‘Daddy!’ with two smiley faces! SO TODAY I saw the images of Zoe Saldana as Nina Simone… AND I THINK THEY ARE RIDICULOUS! Yes there should be a movie made, and YES they should have chosen someone who LOOKS like Nina Simone, ESPECIALLY since her RACE played such a PIVOTAL role in WHO, WHAT and WHY, she was. THAT ASIDE for a second, this just looks WEIRD, it looks like a person in Black(er) face with a fake nose … REALLY?!!!! DOES NOT THE ONE NINA SIMONE’S LEGACY DESERVE BETTER THAN THIS? I back down because I feel her legacy deserves better than a FIRST TIME MOVIE ACTRESS, I’m like that about my heroes. If I ever FELT I was truly CALLED to play her, I would. And maybe Zoe Saldana REALLY is BEING CALLED SPIRITUALLY TO PLAY THIS ROLE … But I DO NOT LIKE these PICTURES. AT ALL.
