Harry Potter Filming Officially Over

Pour a little out for Harry Potter and his friends. According to the Twitter account of actor Warrick Davis, Saturday was the final day of principle photography on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . Said Davis over multiple tweets: “The end of an Era — today is officially the last day of principal photography on Harry Potter — ever I feel honoured to be here as the director shouts cut for the very last time. Farewell Harry & Hogwarts, it’s been magic! … and goodbye Griphook!” Though not magic enough to stay within the bounds of the 140 character Twitter limit, right Warrick? [ /Film ]

Robert Pattinson ‘Glad’ Two-Part ‘Breaking Dawn’ Will Be Shot Back-To-Back

‘I think that would just be easier,’ Pattinson, who hasn’t yet read the final ‘Twilight Saga’ installment, admitted. By Terri Schwartz, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Robert Pattinson Photo: MTV News With Summit Entertainment’s long-expected announcement that “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” will be split into two films , “Twilight” fans breathed a collective sigh of “obviously.” But while the statement seemed to be released so it could coincide with Saturday’s “Eclipse” junkets, one member of the cast has reason to be opposed to Summit’s choice of timing: Robert Pattinson. Turns out the man also known as Spunk Ransom was forced to admit that he hasn’t had a chance to read the final installment of “The Twilight Saga” since it was released two years ago due to his busy schedule , which includes his upcoming role in “Ben Ami.” Since filming is expected to begin this fall for “Breaking Dawn,” sounds like Pattinson had better get reading. Pattinson was able to confirm, however, that “Breaking Dawn” will be following the path of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” in having both of its films shot back-to-back. This bit of news was also expected but remained unconfirmed from Summit Entertainment’s press release last week. “I’m glad they’re shooting them together at least because I think that would just be easier, doing it all in one,” Pattinson admitted. Even though he hasn’t yet read the novel, Pattinson still knows a thing or two about the more talked-about “Breaking Dawn” moments. MTV News’ Josh Horowitz commented that some of the story’s big surprises have already been announced — like the fact that Bella Swan is going to be having a baby — and asked Pattinson what he felt about what “Breaking Dawn” had in store. “I think that’s going to be very funny,” he said about the birthing scene. “The only thing I know about it is the famous scene: the kind of cesarean scene … I do not envy Bill Condon to have to think of some way to do that.” Related Videos MTV Rough Cut: ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ Clips Related Photos Shot-By-Shot: ‘Eclipse’ Clip ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’

Tom Felton Calls MTV Movie Awards Win ‘The Most Surreal Moment’

‘I had Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell hanging above my head on a wire,’ the ‘Harry Potter’ star marvels to MTV News. By Jocelyn Vena Tom Felton Photo: Steve Granitz/ Getty Images On Sunday night (June 6) at the MTV Movie Awards , “Harry Potter” star Tom Felton beat out some tough competition to win Best Villain for his portrayal of Draco Malfoy. And, moments after winning and having a memorable moment with “Other Guys” co-stars Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell, Felton admitted he couldn’t believe he came out on top. “Very exciting! The most surreal moment of my life,” he told MTV News. “I had Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell hanging above my head on a wire. So, yeah, I can’t know what to make of that.” Did he think he deserved to win? “I would definitely say no! Against Christoph Waltz and Helena Bonham Carter? Not really fair competition. I thought I was well out of the works. Thanks to the fans for voting. I really appreciate it.” Then, out of nowhere, came Wahlberg, who told the “Harry Potter” star he did a great job. And the encounter left Felton quite star-struck. “You’ve got that on camera, yeah? Evidence we’re tight now!” he joked. “We’re thinking about [a rap album]. We got some TV shows we’re thinking about. He wants me to be on ‘Entourage.’ I said I’m not too sure about it. We’re tight. [ Laughs. ] I can’t believe it. Amazing!” Earlier in the night, Felton dished to MTV News on the Movie Awards red carpet that his real-life lady love, “Potter” stunt assistant Jade Olivia, would have a cameo in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” “This is an exclusive for you — she is, yes,” Felton said. “The producers came to me about six months ago, and I said, ‘OK, I’ll ask her.’ She was at first reluctant, but I pulled her arm and twisted it. She was filming with me for three days at King’s Cross [railway station in the U.K.]; we were very excited.” Relive the wildest, funniest and most-jaw-dropping moments of the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, watch revealing red-carpet interviews and get exclusive movie clips after the show at MovieAwards.MTV.com .
