Michaele Salahi: On a Journey with Neal Schon

Sorry, Salahis, but we stopped believing a long time ago. A couple hours after Tareq Salahi released a public statement and asked for help in tracking down his supposedly kidnapped wife , Michaele Salahi’s whereabouts have been discovered: she’s in Memphis with Journey guitarist Neal Schon. Michaele used to date the artist and is rumored to be having an affair with him now. She attended his band’s concert in Nashville last night. Said a police department spokesperson who chatted on the phone with the former Real Housewife of D.C.: “She seemed calm, was engaged in conversation, and assured the deputy that she had left the residence with a good friend and was where she wanted to be. Mrs. Salahi advised that she did not want Mr. Salahi to know where she was. [She was] very sorry [that the Sheriff’s Office had to be involved, but] she did not want to be home right now.” She does want to make headlines in any way she conceivably can, however. What a terrible pair of human being, the Salahis. [Photo: WENN.com]

Rebecca Black’s ‘Friday’ Beats Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga On YouTube

‘Friday’ has had 100 million views to date, with Black currently working on her second single, ‘LOL.’ By Gil Kaufman Rebecca Black in her video for “Friday” Photo: Ark Music Factory There was a minute there when Rebecca Black’s “Friday” video was, almost literally, inescapable. Whether the success of the viral hit was being covered on such unlikely outlets as CNN or NPR, getting parodied on late-night television, or just bouncing around from Twitter accounts to e-mail in-boxes and music blogs, the tune by the previously unknown 13-year-old had the kind of white-hot media buzz usually reserved for a Lady Gaga or Justin Bieber. Well, guess what? The little $2,000 pay-to-play ditty-that-could can now claim to have surpassed such major label juggernauts as Bieber and Gaga. According to a Reuters report, the no-budget clip for Black’s song has been viewed more than 100 million times on YouTube since it was released on February 10, surpassing the totals for Gaga’s “Born This Way” and Bieber’s “Pray” videos, based on numbers provided by Visible Measures, a company that tracks the performance of Web videos. Scratch that. If you count spoofs, other versions and home-brewed takes on the song, it’s actually been seen more than 200 million times. Crunching the same numbers for “Born This Way,” it has generated 180 million online views, while “Pray” has racked up 65 million. It doesn’t seem as though Gaga minds the competition from the Ark Music Factory product, as she reportedly referred to “Friday” as “genius” recently. Black told us she “freaked out” when she heard the compliment from Mother Monster. “I’m 13 and I never thought Lady Gaga would even know my name. I’m the kind of girl that dances to Lady Gaga with a hairbrush in her room at night,” Black told MTV News in late March before she notched her YouTube record. Black is reportedly at work on her second single, “LOL,” though a release date for that song has not yet been announced. ‘Scream 4’ Stars All Insist They’re Not The Killer

‘My character’s not the killer because maybe she is,’ Courteney Cox teases MTV News. By Kara Warner Emma Roberts Photo: MTV News For the die-hard “Scream” fans out there, one of the many joys in watching the films for the first time is trying to figure out who the killer is. With the release of the fourth installment of the franchise just days away, rumors and speculation are running rampant across the interwebs. To help you narrow down your list of potential killers, MTV News had the cast of “Scream 4” make a case for why you won’t see their characters wielding any knives or wearing Ghostface masks come Friday. “My character is not the killer, because she knows horror movies too well,” Hayden Panettiere said of her spunky, know-it-all character Kirby Reed. “She knows how they work, and she’s too terrified in that scene in the preview.” “I can’t do it because O.J. already did it,” Anthony Anderson joked about his character, Deputy Perkins. “Yeah. That would be racist,” added co-star Adam Brody. “You’re not going to have the black guy killing all the white people.” “No,” Anderson agreed. “And yeah, my guy is just kind of a dummy,” Brody said of Deputy Hoss. “I could be putting everyone on, but I don’t think I have enough screen time to totally be the killer, but maybe?” David Arquette, who returns to the franchise as Dewey Riley went for a more cryptic approach. “I’m not the killer, because I am the killer,” he said. “My character’s not the killer because maybe she is,” Courteney Cox said of intrepid nosy reporter Gail Weathers, coincidentally echoing the same phrase as her onscreen husband. “My character is not the killer because she’s Sydney Prescott,” said Neve Campbell, who returns to the franchise as the central character. “My character Jill is not the killer because she’s Sydney’s cousin — hel-lo!” Emma Roberts argued. And finally, Aimee Teegarden weighed in: “Why am I not the killer? I’m not the killer because I have great hair in the movie,” she said. “And if you have great hair, you don’t die — bottom line.” So what do you think, “Scream” fans? Is one of them lying? Tell us in the comments! Check out everything we’ve got on “Scream 4.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .

Bolitics As Usual: Hatin’ Azz Congressman Dennis Kuchinich Says President Obama’s Action Against Libya Is Cause For Impeachment!

After declaring President Obama’s decision to order airstrikes on Libya a potential “impeachable offense,” Ohio Democratic Congressman Dennis Kucinich is calling for an immediate halt to all funds for any further military action in the conflict. “Now the immediate thing that Congress needs to do when it returns is to cut off any funds for continuing in Libya and I intend to bring forward such an amendment,” Kucinich said in an interview with CNN, noting any legislative action would have to wait until after the current Congressional recess. White House officials insist the President’s actions are well within the law, pointing to a letter sent by Mr. Obama to House Speaker John Boehner Monday. The letter emphasizes the airstrikes are part of an international mission to enforce a “no-fly zone” authorized by a United Nations Security Council Resolution. The letter, the administration argues, satisfies the War Powers Act which requires the President to inform Congress within 48 hours of engaging in any military action. “Our view is a mission of this kind which is time limited, well defined and discreet clearly falls within the president’s constitutional authority,” said Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes at a press briefing Monday. Other Democrats came out to defend the President against the hatin’ a** congressman: One key Democrat in the Senate dismissed any notion of impeachment in a radio interview on Tuesday. Michigan Democratic Senator Carl Levin told the Bill Press Radio Show there is strong bipartisan support for the U.S. mission in Libya, dubbed Operation Odyssey Dawn. “I think we ought to focus on what the issues are here,” Levin said. If it ain’t one thing it’s muthaf*ckin’ other, damn! Several other Presidents have taken military action in the same manner and they weren’t met with this “impeachment” bullsh*t. Folks will do whatever they can to keep our man Barry O out of office in 2012 won’t they? SMH Source

Lindsay Lohan ‘Will Be Going To Jail’ If She Accepts Plea Deal

Judge tells Lohan if she pleads guilty to theft charge, she will serve time for probation violation. By James Montgomery Lindsay Lohan (file) Photo: Pool/ Getty Images Lindsay Lohan arrived at Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday morning (February 23) facing the possibility of jail time, after being offered a plea deal related to her alleged theft of a $2,500 necklace on January 22. She left without accepting the deal, and with the prospect of jail still very much in the cards. Lohan, who wore a low-cut black top to the proceedings, was told by Judge Keith Schwartz that if she does accept the Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers’ offer to settle the case, she “will be going to jail.” According to TMZ , the deal is for six months of jail time. Schwartz — who would handle sentencing if she accepts the plea — let it be known that he wouldn’t allow her celebrity to affect his decision, telling her, bluntly, “I don’t care that you’re Lindsay Lohan. “One of the things about me is that I treat everybody the same,” Schwartz continued. “What I look to in sentencing is, ‘What is the prior record?’ In this particular case, there has been so much speculation in the press [that] I’m just going to tell you a couple of things: If you plead in front of me, you are going to jail. There might be an issue about the amount of time, but if the case settles here, you will be doing to jail.” Schwartz said that if Lohan accepts the DA’s deal — thereby pleading guilty to felony grand theft — she would be found in violation of her probation and would serve time. He also recommended a psychological evaluation of Lohan to help him determine an appropriate sentence. After posting bail on the felony charge, Lohan took to Twitter to proclaim her innocence, and, with attorney Shawn Holley at her side, she maintained that tact on Wednesday. All indications are she plans to stand trial on the charge and, if found guilty, could face up to one year in state prison. Lohan is due back in court on March 10. But before then, Schwartz instructed both attorneys to meet and discuss the possibility of accepting the plea. Related Photos The Highs And Lows Of Lindsay Lohan Related Artists Lindsay Lohan

Report: Mel Gibson to Accuse of Oksana Grigorieva of Bribing Witness

Mel Gibson’s legal team will make the claim that his estranged ex, Oksana Grigorieva, tried to bribe a witness in their ongoing legal battle, reports say . The witness is relevant in both the ongoing criminal and family cases. It is not yet known who it is, or what the evidence is to support the bribery allegation, but “Mel claims there was a financial incentive,” a source said. A source close to the situation says one of Mel’s lawyers will be meeting with Deputy District Attorney John Lynch to present evidence of the alleged bribe. Mel denies beating her, as she alleges, but admits in an affidavit to slapping her, claiming she was hysterical and out of control when holding their daughter. Mel is being investigated for the beating (which she recently said was not isolated, alleging he beat her during sex ) and Oksana for alleged extortion of Mel. Gibson charges that her malicious behavior warrants a loss of custody.
