Joy-Anna Duggar Shares Pregnancy Update, Anti-Abortion Views on Instagram

If you’re a fan of her family’s, then by now, you’ve likely heard the news that Joy-Anna Duggar is pregnant with her first child . The announcement came as a shock to many, as Joy-Anna is just 19 years old, and it appears as though she may have gotten pregnant before her wedding to Austin Forsyth , despite her family’s strict ban on premarital sex. But regardless of the controversy surrounding her pregnancy, Joy-Anna is clearly ecstatic, and she’s been sharing her joy with fans on social media: Joy-Anna posted the above photo earlier today, along with the following caption: “Can’t wait to meet our baby!! I got to feel it kick for the first time a few days ago!!! Soooooo amazing!!! It’s already about the size of a bell pepper and weighs around half a pound!!! #childrenareagiftfromGod #westandforlife” Yes, as you might have guessed from those hashtags, Joy-Anna is about to get political on you. Given that procreation and strict fundamentalist religious beliefs are the things they’re best known for, it should come as no surprise that the Duggars are staunchly anti-abortion. In case her hashtags failed to make that clear, Joy-Anna also shared this photo of her husband holding a sign by the side of the road for some reason. Following the Josh Duggar sex scandals , there was a brief period of time when the Duggars mostly steered clear of politics. Perhaps it was the fear that their constant moralizing would make them seem hypocritical in the wake of the revelation that they’d knowingly harbored a sexual predator. (And of course, they were right on that score.) But now it looks as though the Duggars are laboring under the delusion that Josh’s crimes have faded from the public’s memory to the point that they can once again begin flaunting their supposed moral superiority. Sources close to the family believe Joy-Anna is planning a career in politics , but she’s not the only one who’s speaking out on controversial political issues. Just last month, Jill Duggar’s husband, Derick Dillard, attacked Jazz Jennings on Twitter, berating the transgender teen, who, like the Duggars, stars in a reality series on TLC. Clearly, the family has been emboldened by the forgiveness of many of their more cultishly devoted fans, and it’s even been rumored that Josh Duggar will soon return to television , despite frequent promises to the contrary. Whatever the case, it seems the Duggars are on the verge of reclaiming what they feel is lost territory.  And it’ll be interesting to see if the public allows it. The Duggar family's unusual dating rules have been well documented, and have been well before the family was embroiled in scandals. It was an abrupt and stunning fall from grace when Josh Duggar's child molestation history – and rampant adultery – was first exposed. Yet, despite his hypocrisy, and the fact that everything about them has been under more scrutiny, the Duggars weathered the storm. TLC axed  19 Kids & Counting , only to come back with Counting On , and you can count on them never backing down from their beliefs. When it comes to their core convictions, they stand firm. Their belief system certainly takes a certain kind of conviction in order to practice, too, since their list of rules for love and life is not short. Despite talk of Joy-Anna Duggar breaking courtship rules , and signs of hope like Jinger wearing shorts , these guidelines ain't no joke. Here are 16 things the Duggars specifically do not allow … 1. Dates Without Chaperones The Duggar parents often accompany their kids on dates in order to maintain “accountability” and “keep things from going in the wrong direction,” per Jim Bob. The girls are fine with this, as being alone with men puts them in grave “moral danger.” When the parents aren’t available, their older siblings will often tag along, making every date a group date and a family affair. 2. Non-Group Texts Even in the kids’ late teens and early 20s, mom and dad are creeping on their text messages. When Ben Seewald jokingly wrote to fiancee Jessa, “Give me a ring,” Jim Bob actually jumped in on the group text, writing “No ring yet.” With a smiley face emoticon. Seriously, he did that. Whatever you think of him, Jim Bob needs his own Instagram so he can start posting screen shots of this stuff. 3. Hugs on the Chest This moment you see here between Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard would not have been permitted until the couple was married. Side hugs are the preferred method of PDA in order to prevent any further temptation or “hanky panky,” as has been well documented on 19 Kids and Counting. The Duggars love their side hugs so hard … though not too too hard, lest they lead to full-frontal hugging. And any touching beyond that? Save it for your wedding night. 4. Alcohol This is probably an obvious one if you know anything about the Duggars. The family does not smoke or drink. They do, however, enjoy the occasional sugary dessert or getting high on life and love. 5. Romance Novels Safe to say the Duggars are in the minority, having not read Fifty Shades of Grey (the movie adaptation of which they won’t be seeing either, we’re guessing). The Bible warns not to “think about gratifying the pleasure of the flesh,” so instead the family studies Christian text and not E.L. James’ erotic fiction. The Duggars’ option is probably 1,000 times better-written, we will give them that much. 6. Modern Music and/or Dancing Avert your eyes, Michelle Duggar! The family matriarch feels that dancing encourages “sensual” feelings, while Jessa Duggar has said that she feels modern music promotes “sex, drugs, all that type of stuff.” Instead, the family chooses to play gospel music together. Blac Chyna: Selling Sex Tape to Get Back at Rob Kardashian?!

If you’ve been keeping up with all the latest gossip this week — or even if you’ve just been near the internet — you know that things aren’t going so well between Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna right now. They’re actually going really, really badly. The issue, at least the current one, started when Rob felt the need to vent about his strained relationship with Chyna on Instagram. He apparently has a number of problems with his ex-fiancee and the mother of his child, and he wanted to tell us about every single one of them. For instance, Rob claimed that Chyna was still sleeping with him, and that she’s also sleeping with a few other men — and she’s even bringing those men in her home with her children. In another section of his big long rant, he said that he paid thousands and thousands of dollars for plastic surgery for Chyna after she gave birth to dream. Surgery that apparently messed up her nipples. Rob said that Chyna does all sorts of drugs, and that she drinks a lot, and that she cheated on him, and that he pays her bills and he spent nearly a million dollars on her while they were together. He also shared a few nude photos of her — and that crossed a whole different line . Now Blac Chyna is taking the feud to the court system, and rightfully so. It was illegal for Rob to post those photos of her, and she wants to file a restraining order against him because, as she claimed in her case, she’s scared of him. Partly because of his unhinged ranting, and partly because she said that he’s been violent with her. Rob could be prosecuted, Chyna could lose custody of her kids … there’s a lot at stake here. And, according to a new report from Hollywood Life, Chyna may be preparing to make things worse. With a sex tape . “Blac is shopping a sex tape that doesn’t involve Rob,” a source claims. “She wants to use it to humiliate Rob and also make a pretty penny off of it.” Could you see her taking things that far? Honestly, it doesn’t sound like much of a stretch. Chyna’s always been very comfortable with her sexuality, and if any of Rob’s statements about her are to be believed, there’s nothing she won’t do in the the name of pettiness. Or in the name of making money. And if she really is considering a sex tape, Vivid Entertainment, the fine company that brought us the sex tapes from Kim Kardashian and Farrah Abraham, are willing to distribute it. “We think Blac Chyna would be great in a sex tape and many people are fascinated by her,” says Vivid CEO Steven Hirsch. “We would definitely like to see whatever tape is out there or work with her on something new.” Brace yourself, Rob … sex tape or no sex tape, things are probably going to get worse real soon. Jill Duggar Welcomes Second Child!!!!!

The  Jill Duggar birth rumors have turned into a Jill Duggar birth reality. Which is to say the following, if you haven’t heard already: The TLC star has given birth to her second child! Following a few days of speculation of whether or not Duggar and husband Derick Dillard had welcomed baby number-two into the world, the famous couple has come out and confirmed the miraculous truth. “We are excited to finally announce the arrival of Samuel Scott Dillard,” Jill and Derick wrote on their website Saturday afternoon, adding in exciting detail: “The newest addition to our family arrived on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1:02pm. He weighs 9lb 10oz and is 22” long.” “After 40 of labor, he was delivered via C-section at the hospital. “Thank you for your continued prayers and support!” Forty hours. They do not come easy for Jill! This precious bundle of joy joins two-year old brother Israel, whose birth was also a marathon event, as part of the immediate Duggar-Dillard family. Jill and Derick have been married since 2014 in their native Arkansas and announced their second pregnancy this past December. They opened up about their second child (and first child) in a TLC video in January, excerpts of which went as follows, courtesy of Dillard: “Israel didn’t really understand what was happening, but he’s just excited because other people are excited, so he’s just excited about his new little baby brother.” As were his loving parents. Added Jill at the time: “We’re really excited about having another son.” “I know that Israel and this little one will be best friends. …Thank y’all for your well wishes. We’re so excited about this new blessing from God.” The birth of little Samuel comes just over one month since his mother spoiled his name for the world , telling the world in a blog post on June 7: “We are so excited to announce the name of Baby Dillard #2! Samuel Scott Dillard. We can’t wait to welcome him to the world and have him join our family very soon!” Yes, Samuel Scott. It’s not Spurgeon or Israel. But it is biblical. Israel David Dillard was born in April of 2015, while sister Jessa Duggar has kids named Spurgeon Elliot and Henry Wilberforce. The Duggars aren’t just known for having many kids, they are known for having many kids with unusual first or middle names. (No judgment here, it’s worth noting. We’re just stating some facts. Jim Bob and Michelle picked 19 straight names beginning with J!) “Children really are a wonderful blessing from God,” Jill previously told unofficial family PR firm People Magazine, adding: “Having Israel has been such a delight to us that we know a second sweet baby will only continue to add joy to our family.” “We are thankful to God for this sweet child,” the 26-year-old gushed, “and we cannot wait to see her or him face to face!” And we can’t meet to see the first photos of Samuel Scott. We’d expect them to hit the Internet any day now and we’ll be sure to share them on The Hollywood Gossip as soon as they go live. In the meantime, we hope Jill recovers quickly and settles into a normal routine again (hopefully in Arkansas for awhile). The Dillards have taken considerable flak for traveling to Central America for mission work while she’s been pregnant. Still, it hasn’t deterred them to this point, and Jill seemed remarkably sanguine about the lifestyle the second time around. “There’s a level of ease that comes with your second pregnancy,” Jill said of the prospect of going through this again. “Derick and I have been down this road together, so we’re comfortable. Lesley Murphy: Bachelor Alum Shares Topless Photo Days After Mastectomy

We know Lesley Murphy best as a contestant on season 17 of The Bachelor — she fought for Sean Lowe’s heart , and she came in fifth place. Or at least, that was how we knew her. These days, she’s doing work that’s a little more important than reality show love. Last month, Lesley revealed that she carried a gene that put her at high risk for breast cancer and ovarian cancer and, as a preventative measure, she’d be getting a double mastectomy . She explained that her mother battled breast cancer, and so she felt it was best to “take care of it right now” with the surgery. And so last week, she had both of her breasts removed. She’s been documenting her recovery on her Instagram page, and it’s really just amazing to see. The first day after her surgery, she wrote that the whole thing was “hard to wrap my head around,” and after seeing her chest, she described it as “It looks like I was in a bear fight and lost. Badly.” But, she added, “The human body is truly amazing, though, and I will heal soon enough.” The second day after her surgery, she was able to go home, but with a little apron that held four tubes attached to her chest to drain fluids. Poor Lesley wrote that “Walking and breathing still doesn’t come easy,” but she looks pretty tough to us. And then on Sunday, she shared another update — along with a topless photo of herself, taken just five days after her mastectomy. “My Sunday best,” she captioned the picture, “or what I could manage to put on today with limited arm movements.” “My mom washed and dried my hair today. She dresses me in the mornings. She also measures my drains twice daily which are the tubes you see coming out of my lovely red apron I never take off,” she continued. “She’s the freaking best. She slept in my hospital room and bed at home for the first few nights, helping me in and out of bed and giving me meds at horrid hours to control the pain.” “I have to sleep on my back in the exact same position every night,” she described. “Sometimes when I make the wrong movements it feels like my chest is detaching from my body, but all in all, I think my upper half is healing nicely!” “Sure, it’s sunken in and lumpy because what you see are deflated expanders that were put in which will gradually get filled every 2-3 weeks as I get ready for reconstructive surgery.” “Hopefully by then the permanent marker will be off my body.” Lesley wrote that she feels “lucky” because “my surgeons only made one vertical incision on the lower half of both breasts will saving skin and nipple.” “So while all breast tissue is (hopefully) gone,” she concluded, “I retained some of the old me! Happy Sunday. God is good.” In her latest update, which she wrote yesterday, she wrote that she had two of her four tubes removed, and the other two would be removed next week. “As always,” she added, “I love you guys. I read every heartfelt comment and truly feel the love of this incredible support system.” “Together we are creating so much awareness for early detection, screenings, gene mutations and how to work with the options we have. Jill Duggar: Did She Just Reveal Her Unborn Baby’s Name?

It’s been four months since we first learned that Jill Duggar is pregnant with her second child , and while she’s not quite as tight-lipped about her expanding family as her sister, Jessa Duggar, Jill hasn’t offered fans many updates in recent weeks. Granted, part of the reason for that is the fact that she and her son and husband are currently back in South America performing missionary work, and Internet connections are reportedly hard to come by in their village. Even so, it seems that Jill is occasionally able to login and fill fans in on the status of her forthcoming bundle of joy. Jill posted a lengthy blog post to her family’s official website yesterday, and she ended with a surprising reveal. She started with the sad news that the grandfather of her husband, Derick Dillard, passed away last week. Jill thanked fans for their support and explained that while the Dillards are enduring a difficult time, there’s a good deal of joy on the horizon: “Although the past few days have brought sadness to our hearts, we’ve also had reason to celebrate, since Israel turned 2 years old just a few days ago!” Jill wrote. She went on to offer fans an insight into her pregnancy as she approaches her third trimester: “Little ‘Samuelito’ (as the locals call him) sometimes wakes mommy up at night now with his active kicking,” Jill wrote. “We look forward to returning home soon to prepare for the birth (before we can’t fly anymore!).” The “Samuelito” tidbit has been interpreted by some fans as Jill’s way of revealing that she’s planning on naming her baby Samuel. It’s a tad traditional for a Duggar baby name, but it’s in keeping with Jill and Derick’s habit of choosing names that reflect their faith. Their first child, Israel Dillard , was named in commemoration of of the Christian holy land and the country where Derick performed his earliest missionary work. It may seem like a casual way to make such a big reveal, but Jill isn’t as secretive as other members of her family. Todd Chrisley: I’m Not Gay, But…

Todd Chrisley has spoken out on rumors that he’s gay. There hasn’t been any significant reason for anyone to believe this about the reality star’s sexuality, but those who watch Chrisley Knows Best online have to admit: The Atlanta millionaire often comes across as somewhat effeminate. This is obviously a stereotypical assertion, one we offer without making any judgment But it’s also important to note that we haven’t been the ones making it. Hence the reason why Chrisley addressed such talk Wednesday during an appearance on The Domenick Nati Show, making it clear that he had no reason to be upset by the chatter. “In order for it to disappoint me, it would mean that I don’t agree with someone being gay,” the married father of five said very reasonably. He added: “I don’t believe that’s a choice that you make. I believe that you are the way that God has made you.” The 47-year-old is a self-made member of the one percent. He has made a great deal of money in real estate over the years and is married to a woman named Julie. Further discussing all the gay rumors out there, Todd said this week that he’s totally fine that fans and critics alike might question his sexual preference.  “I’m flattered that people think I can get laid on both ends,” he joked, making a point to mention that he and Julie have been married for over two decades. “So, that doesn’t bother me,” he said of the speculation. “And my wife certainly is flattered that as many men want her husband as there are women. With that being said, I’m never going to have a drought.” That’s a pretty good line. Chrisley is saying that even if he and Julie somehow divorce, he’ll be able to hit the dating scene with more options out there than most people have. hrisley is the father of five kids. They are: Lindsie, 27. Kyle, 25. Chase, 20. Savannah, 19, who recently got into a major car accident . Grayson, 10. The family’s reality show, Chrisley Knows Best, chronicles this group’s high-energy life, with the flamboyant patriarch at the center of everything. Todd is an open-minded Christian who says the following about God, reigion and mankind: “I believe you’re here on this earth as God intended. In the Bible, he tells you that he knew you before you were conceived. “So if he knew you before you were conceived then that means he knew what you were going to become. … No sin is greater than the next, so I’m not passing judgment on anyone.” Amen, Todd! Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard: Slammed By Fans For Putting Israel, Unborn Child in Danger!

Pregnant Jill Duggar and husband Derick Dillard recently announced that they are returning to Central America for missionary work. For a whole host of reasons, fans are worried about this. While Jill Duggar’s return to Central America is part of her ongoing mission to serve God and the less fortunate, plenty of critics are wondering: Is she putting her unborn child’s life in danger for it?! Derick and Jill are already the parents of one child, Israel, who turns two in April, and his baby brother is scheduled to arrive this summer. The Duggars’ propensity for procreating hard was a topic of concern for many fans throughout her time in Zika virus-stricken El Salvador. Jill wasn’t even pregnant then, but the mere fact that she could be – the Duggars obviously don’t use birth control – made this an issue. Now she is pregnant, though, and headed back. The duo returned from El Salvador in August after a year, and earlier this year, we learned Jill and Derick are having a second son . That made her decision a bit puzzling to many. “We are planning to go back very soon,” Jill Duggar, who is due in July, said, adding that “we will come back for the birth of the baby.” Quickly, many  fans bashed the reality stars for putting their little boy and their future son in danger, however noble the couple’s intentions. One follower asked: “What is wrong with Jill?” “She nearly died in childbirth last time,” noted another. “I know that we are to trust the Lord but He gave us a brain with common sense.” Valid points and questions, both. Another fan asked: “What about the Zika virus? Why would they bother returning for just a couple of months, especially with Jill pregnant?” The risk of Zika, lack of adequate prenatal care (especially with a high-risk VBAC delivery), and even flying in her third trimester are concerns. “Why don’t they just wait another 6 months for the baby to be born and Jill to have time to recover after the delivery?” said yet another fan. “Jill and Derick think about your children’s safety first!” “And Derick is sick without a diagnosis… I feel he should get that under control before he returns to a country without good health care.” Derick Dillard’s health problems are widely documented at this point, and could further complicate the situation if he’s not in top condition. Last year, El Salvador advised women there not get pregnant until 2018 due to the mosquito-borne virus linked to brain damage in babies. Health aside, their safety issues don’t end there. “Every week, it seems like there would be different instances,” Jill recalled of the sometimes dangerous conditions they would encounter.  Derick lamented the  kidnapping, rape and murder in El Salvador  that are just part of life there, which is sad on so many different levels. Jill Duggar Protests Outside Planned Parenthood One Day After Women’s March

If you watch Counting On online , you probably already know that the Duggars have some extremely conservative religious and political views. Hell, even if you’ve never seen an episode, you’re probably vaguely aware of the Duggars far-right views on just about everything, particularly all matters related to sex and reproduction. We suppose it’s not surprising that a family that views all sex that’s not for the express purpose of procreation as sinful would take a hard-line stance on abortion. What is surprising is just how far the Duggars will go in service of their strict anti-choice views. In the past, they’ve compared abortion to the holocaust and gone to alienated viewers with their controversial belief that the termination of a pregnancy should be illegal even in cases of rape and incest, or where the life of the mother is at risk. One would think that the Josh Duggar sex scandals might have at least temporarily knocked the Duggars off their moral high horse, but if anything, it seems to have had the opposite effect. As though attempting to prove a point through overcompensation, the Duggars seem more resolute in their fundamentalist belief system than ever before. And it’s not just Jim Bob and Michelle who seem galvanized by both their family’s public humbling and by the election of Donald Trump. The latest to take up the fight against women’s rights is Jill Duggar, who is currently expecting her second child by husband Derick Dillard . The day after hundreds of thousands participated in the Women’s March on Washington and millions more showed their support around the world, Jill participated in a demonstration of her own. Jill posted the above text to her Instagram page yesterday. She captioned the image: “Join us today at 2:30 for the March for Life and/or at 3:30 at the support for life rally! #crosschurch #prolife #everylifematters” We didn’t look into the 40 Days NWA website, but we assume it’s a six-week program devoted to studying the lyrics of Eazy-E. Anyway, Jill seems to have met with more condemnation than support for her plans to prevent women from receiving necessary health services: “Just went and donated (more) money to Planned Parenthood! Judge not, lest ye be judged, Duggars,” wrote one commenter. “Marching against abortions is not pro-life, it’s pro-birth. If your family actually wanted to reduce the number of abortions (and not just control women’s bodies), you would support sex-education programs and contraceptive access. That’s how you reduce abortions,” wrote another. We imagine Jill was shocked to learn there are people who see this issue differently than she does. There’s been no official word on what’s ailing Derick, but fans have noticed that the soon-to-be father of two appears to have lost a good deal of weight in a short amount of time, and often appears pale and tired. At first, the Duggars refused to acknowledge the controversy, but while Jim Bob likes to exercise complete control over his family’s privacy, he likes ratings even more, so it looks like we’ll finally start getting the inside scoop on the curious case of Derick Dillard. The first promos for the new season of Counting On hinted that Derick would confront his health problems after a series of scary incidents. The preview shows Derick vomiting while running, an episode that appears to have resulted in an emergency visit to the doctor. “It feels great to be home and run like I used to,” Derick tells the camera at one point, “but it is difficult sometimes.” Jill is seen explaining that physical exertion makes her husband “gaggy.” The strange symptom, coupled with Derick’s rapid and unexplained weight loss, has left fans worried. Adding to the problem is the fact that Derick’s appearance has changed not only as a result of his weight loss, but also because of extensive oral surgery. In late 2015, Derick had several bones in his face broken as part of an orthodontic procedure. The 27-year-old has been wearing braces ever since. Amidst all of these changes, the Dillards spent several months in El Salvador , performing missionary work in one of the Central American nation’s poorer sectors. So it’s possible that a series of major life changes have simply manifested themselves in Derick’s appearance and there’s no one thing majorly wrong with the reality star and substitute teacher. With no weddings on the horizon and Jill’s baby not due until July (Jessa’s is due next month) storylines were reportedly tough to come by during the latest round of filming, and fans’ interest in Derick’s health shows no signs of letting up.
