Rockstar Games Announces ‘Red Dead Online’, To Launch As A Beta In Nov.

Source: Rockstar Games / Red Dead Redemption 2 We are just about a month and a few days from the global launch of Rockstar Games epic western Red Redemption 2 . Today the game studio announced the forthcoming game will have its own online component as well. Just like Grand Theft Auto V , Red Dead Redemption 2’s experience will be expanded with a massive online multiplayer experience with Red Dead Online . The online mode will be an “evolution” of the previous Red Dead Redemptio n game’s multiplayer mode. Utilizing Red Dead Redemption 2’s gameplay as a foundation, players will be able to traverse the games massive open world either alone or with friends if you so choose as well as competitive and cooperative gameplay experiences. Players can also look forward to constant updates and features that will keep the online experience fresh for all players. Rockstar also revealed that Red Dead Online will not launch alongside Red Dead Redemption 2’s single player game but will arrive separately in November in beta mode and for a good reason. The studio seemingly learned from the rocky launch of GTA V’s multiplayer mode Grand Theft Auto Online that was riddled with problems from the jump. They also want to allow players to be wholly acclimated with the game’s controls before Red Dead Online arrives. When asked by IGN about Red Dead Online’s absence on launch day Imran Sarwar, Director of Design at Rockstar North stated: “Also, as we have learned from experience when launching Online games at this scale, there are bound to be a few issues, and we want to ensure that we have time to gradually roll out the game and make the experience as smooth as we possibly can for everyone. We believe this way of rolling out will give people the best overall experiences with both single player and multiplayer.” We can’t wait and if Red Dead Online is anything like GTA Online you can expect it to give the game a very long life. Sooo…Diesel Chose Nicki Minaj For Anti-Bullying Campaign & People Have Questions

Diesel recently announced that Nicki would be one of the faces for its Autumn/Winter 2018 “hate couture” campaign used to combat cyberbullying. Different stars, including Nicki, Gucci Mane , actress Bella Thorne and model Jonathan Bellini have been recruited for the campaign. In a video Diesel posted to their social media, the most hateful messages these stars have received on social media are etched into the design of their Diesel apparel. Thus Nicki’s shirt reads “The Bad Guy” (It’s still up for debate if people actually call her this or if she just gave herself the name herself). You don’t make online hate disappear by hiding it. Though the campaign seems to have good intentions, folks across the Internet couldn’t help but notice a tiny issue in the selection of stars. Nicki Minaj has been accused of some major bullying. The most notorious instance came when cultural critic and Twitter user Wanna Thompson critiqued the subject matters in Nicki Minaj’s music a few months back. Instead of starting a conversation on Twitter like Wanna had hoped, an army of Nicki-crazed Barbz came after Wanna like she was the village plague. “I wouldn’t wish this on my worse enemy,” Thompson told The New York Times back in July. After Nicki fans came for Wanna’s life via social media, emails and even phone calls, Nicki herself contacted Wanna and it wasn’t pretty. She slid in Wanna’s DMs and called her everything but a child of God. “Eat a di** you hating ass h*” and “ugly ass” were just a few of the words Nicki aimed at Wanna. Sounds like a bully, no? When Wanna heard the news of Nicki’s Diesel campaign, she was just as confused. @DIESEL is making a mockery out of cyber-bullying. There are countless organizations and individuals doing their best to combat the issue and instead of enlisting them you get Nicki Minaj? So irresponsible and counterproductive. — Wanna (@WannasWorld) September 19, 2018 Then, let’s not forget the accusations Cardi B made about Nicki after their notorious run-in during New York Fashion Week. In an Instagram post, she accused Nicki of lying on her and telling other artist not to work with her.   Though it’s not certain that Cardi’s accusations are true, one has to ask what would provoke a woman enough to send her shoe flying across a fashion event. Nicki even gave Travis Scott a “Ho* Ni**a of the Week” award on her Queen radio show when she was critiquing his record sales and number one spot on the charts. Despite all this controversy, of course the Barbz still weren’t bothered… Nicki Minaj is a marketing genius! And There’s More: Kanye West Reportedly Wants To Make 52 Records In 52 Weeks

After busting out five projects with folks like Pusha T , Nas and Teyana Taylor over the last month, Kanye might have more tunes up his sleeve. New York Times pop music critic Jon Caramanica spent three days with Kanye after his ye listening party in Wyoming. He recapped their discussion in his podcast Popcast and some interesting information was revealed. “[Kanye] said he wants to get a place in Wyoming and he thinks he wants to spend more time there,” Jon said. “[Kanye] told me at one point, he wants to make 52 records in 52 weeks. Take that for what you will.” Hmmm, okaaay…   On one hand, this could be exciting for folks still sticking with Kanye. But on another hand, he definitely took his sweet time rolling out his previous projects —  specifically for Nas and Teyana Taylor. Teyana’s album K.T.S.E. didn’t hit streaming until a full day after it was scheduled to be released. And by the end of it all, Teyana still wasn’t satisfied with the final product. There were even reports that Kanye was finishing Teyana’s album on a plane last minute before its release. And now this man is trying to release 52 records in 52 weeks?   Kanye is like that overly ambitious kid in school who ends up turning in their assignment last minute because, well…it’s overly ambitious. There’s no telling who Kanye will team up with for the next releases, although according to Billboard , he’s been rumored to be working with Chance the Rapper . CyHi The Prynce has also hinted at a seven-track album with Kanye. So I guess we’ll watch out for those 52 records. And if we don’t get them on time, remember… Kanye West is not done.

Rihanna Becomes New Creative Director Of Stance Socks BadGalRiRi continues to make it rain on them hoes… Via Complex Rihanna has been named contributing creative director of Stance, the official sock provider of the NBA. The singer dropped hints that she was designing a collection with the brand in May, but this partnership goes beyond just a collaborative collection, WWD reports. Rihanna has signed a three year deal with Stance that will see her star in campaigns and design collections for the brand. The first full collection will be here in the fall, but Stance is releasing two pairs designed by Rihanna today. Crew socks for men and women that have been numbered 1 to 1,500 to symbolize their limited-edition nature will be available along with an over-the-knee style printed with vintage newspaper ads, only 1,000 pairs of the latter will be up for purchase. “I’ve had a great relationship with Stance for a long time and ‎I am happy to be working with them on such a fun and creative project,” Rihanna told WWD. Even more excited about the partnership was Stance’s Candy Harris who told Refinery 29, “This is a seminal moment for the sock category.” She also says Rihanna was very involved in the creation of her socks. “She was incredibly hands-on from the initial mood boards and inception of the collection to the design process and ultimate the final campaign shoot,” Harris said. Okay Draya , we see you doing good in the hood… Draya Michele Donates $5,000 To Compton’s Optimal Christian Academy Draya Michele is proving that she can do more than show off her banging baaaawdy and peddle skimpy swimsuits  by flexing her philanthropy muscles. The reality star recently took to Compton’s Optimal Christian Academy, a black-owned school, to give a $5,000 donation to repair their dilapidated playground. She also noted that she previously took “Basketball Wives L.A.” cameras with her to visit the school but the footage never aired. SMH… Via @SoDraya: Last year around the same time I visited a school in Compton called optimal Christian Academy. I had the cameras of Basketball Wives come with me to capture it. However, it never made the final cut and never ended up on the actual show. The purpose of the visit was to establish a school with needs, I could donate to because I was having a big dress sale event and wanted to donate the proceeds. Due to all the drama that transpired during the season, I decided not to involve the women in what I wanted to be such a positive event and it never happened. Because I went to the school and told then I was going to help fix up their playground I decided I needed to keep my promise and fulfill it. Yesterday, I took my own camera and make sure only what was real was captured. The beautiful students and staff were all there to greet me and it was just amazing . The playground had holes in the asphalt and needed patching. My donation was enough to cover it and was so graciously appreciated. This school is a black-family-owned school and it feels good to be able to help out people like me.
