On Sunday night’s episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Porsha sang a song called, “Perfectly Worthless” … and that’s exactly how it sounded, according to the guy who wrote it. Pierre Medor — who’s worked with Usher, Diddy and Nelly — says he only gave the song to Porsha to test her voice … and had no idea the song would end up on the air. In fact, he claims he made a deal for someone else to record it. But Porsha tells TMZ … Medor signed a waiver with Bravo for his appearance on “RHOA” — and even sent a text message saying he LIKED hearing his song on the show. The text to Porsha’s rep said, “It’s cool. It was a good look! Now we need to get a record done.” Obviously Porsha was not as impressed … her rep says Porsha’s focused on promoting her new single, “Flatline” — and calls Medor’s attack a “desperate attempt to ride her coattails.” Based on Porsha’s previous lies , we don’t put it past her to have stolen this guy’s song.

UConn Basketball Player Shabazz Napier Says He Goes To Bed Starving He’s one of the best basketball players in the country, and he led his team to victory in Monday night’s NCAA championshi p game. But the University of Connecticut’s Shabazz Napier recently told reporters he goes to bed “starving” because he can’t afford food, despite that UConn’s student-athlete guidelines include provisions for meal plans. Via CNN reports: The remark got the attention of state lawmakers in Connecticut, who are now exploring legislative ways to allow athletes at UConn, a state institution, to unionize — much like athletes are attempting at Northwestern University. Rep. Matthew Lesser said he and other state lawmakers are considering legislation. Unlike at Northwestern, a private institution governed by the National Labor Relations Board, Connecticut law governs whether employees at a public institution can unionize. “He says he’s going to bed hungry at a time when millions of dollars are being made off of him. It’s obscene,” Lesser said. “This isn’t a Connecticut problem. This is an NCAA problem, and I want to make sure we’re putting pressure on them to treat athletes well.” Napier recently called the Northwestern union ruling “kind of great” and said that although he appreciates his basketball scholarship, it doesn’t cover all of his expenses. So, should athletes be getting a cut of the millions that schools and the NCAA receive from big bowl games and championship tournaments? “I don’t feel student-athletes should get hundreds of thousands of dollars, but like I said, there are hungry nights that I go to bed and I’m starving,” he said. Asked whether he felt like an employee — a key distinction cited in the labor board’s Northwestern ruling — the Huskies point guard responded, “I just feel like a student-athlete, and sometimes, like I said, there’s hungry nights and I’m not able to eat and I still got to play up to my capabilities. … When you see your jersey getting sold — it may not have your last name on it — but when you see your jersey getting sold and things like that, you feel like you want something in return.” CNN’s calls to UConn’s athletic department were not immediately returned Monday, though the Huskies played the University of Kentucky Wildcats in the NCAA men’s basketball finals in Arlington, Texas, that night. Many people argue that these athletes get a free education in return of their work. Really? Yale Student Threatened With Expulsion Over Low Weight What does a person’s weight have to do with them getting a proper education? According to New Haven Register: Frances Chan says she’s done stuffing her face with ice cream and Cheetos just to make Yale University happy. After months of wrangling, the university finally agrees. The 20-year-old history major has spent the past few months sparring with Yale’s health center over her low weight. Chan is 5’2” and 92 lbs., and Yale doctors were concerned her health was severely at risk. She contended that she’s always been very thin, as were her parents and grandparents at her age. Yet until Friday, Yale had been telling Chan she might be forced to leave school if she didn’t put on some pounds. Poor girl. “It felt really bad to be this powerless,” Chan said, taking in some afternoon sun in a campus courtyard. “I ate ice cream twice a day. I ate cookies. I used elevators instead of walking up stairs. But I don’t really gain any weight.” Since December, Chan has had multiple medical appointments and mandatory weigh-ins. She met with a nutritionist and a mental health counselor, as well, to determine whether she might have an eating disorder. She said a nurse told her at one point that her low weight would kill her if she didn’t do something about it. With the end of the academic year just weeks away, Chan was anxious to satisfy Yale’s demands even if she can’t gain much more weight. Her parents came to New Haven to meet with health officials on campus, and she’s switched to a new physician. Chan said her new physician acknowledged that BMI was not the only significant measure of proper health. “So she trusts that I do not have an eating disorder and admitted that ‘we made a mistake,’” Chan said. According to Raw Story: Police in Michigan arrested three men who are accused of viciously beating an Army veteran who objected to their racist remarks. According to the Westland Police Department, United States Army veteran Adam Wagner went to a 7-11 convenience store at 2 a.m. Saturday morning to purchase a pack of cigarettes. Once inside, he noticed three men harassing the female clerk, and he told them to stop. When he walked outside, the trio followed him. At this point, Wagner told police, they noticed the Army insignia on Wagner’s car and began to taunt him about the military. “They were saying, ‘How can you be in the military when they let black people in the military?’ They used the ‘n word’, saying [he] was an ‘n-word’ lover,” Wagner’s girlfriend told WJBK. “I took pretty, pretty good offense to that because my best friend in the army was black. He saved my life,” Wagner added. The suspects — all of whom had shaved heads — then began to assault Wagner, punching and kicking him until he was on the ground. “I got to ground and I went straight to the fetal position, covering my ear drums and as much as I could of my face,” said Wagner. He was taken to the hospital, where doctors discovered he had a broken nose, a concussion, and lacerations on his face. The suspects were apprehended late Saturday night after a tipster recognized one of them in security footage aired on a local news station. It’s terrible that this man protected and served his country, yet he still has to deal with this ignorance.

Since going solo the former Destiny’s Child singer has made theatrical appearance in Chicago, Fela and The Color Purple and now she’s announced a new lead role in the upcoming 50-date North American tour of the popular Jesus Christ Superstar rock musical. What a tragic story. Boy Accidentally Shoots And Kills His Sister As sad as this accident is, it could have been prevented had the children been properly supervised. According NBC Philadelphia: Police say a 2-year-old boy accidentally shot and killed his 11-year-old sister in their Mantua home while their mother was just down the hall in the bathroom. Investigators say 11-year-old Jamara Stevens was killed when she and her three siblings, a 14-year-old boy, 7-year-old girl and 2-year-old boy, were playing with a .357 caliber handgun with an 8-inch barrel in their home on the 3800 block of Wallace Street just before 10 a.m. Saturday. Tiffany Goldwire and her four children were in her bedroom, when she went to use the bathroom, according to police. At that point, the kids located the loaded firearm, which was left on top of the refrigerator by the mother’s boyfriend who visited the home earlier that morning, and the eldest child retrieved it, according to reports. While playing with the weapon, the 2-year-old boy pointed the loaded, cocked gun in the direction of his 11-year-old sister and it discharged, striking her in the arm, according to authorities. Investigators say the bullet then traveled through her chest, hitting her heart. The girl was taken to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where she was pronounced dead at 10:20 a.m. The surviving children and Goldwire were taken to police headquarters, where the mother was questioned for nearly five hours, according to reports.
