Guess she wasn’t worried about Diddy too much… Jennifer Lopez Opens Up On Split From Ben Affleck Just days after revealing emotional and verbal abuse at the hands of one of her many exes, Jennifer Lopez is delving deeper into her first major heartbreak that inadvertently led to her longest-running marriage . Via PageSix : Jennifer Lopez was heartbroken when her relationship with Ben Affleck ended in 2004 — but also quick to move on with her now ex-husband, Marc Anthony. In an interview with Marria Shriver airing Monday and Tuesday on “Today,” Lopez opened up about both relationships. “Right away when you broke up with Ben Affleck, Marc Anthony was there, like, two days later, and you were in,” recalled Shriver, referring to Lopez ending her relationship with Affleck in January and beginning her quick courtship with Anthony soon after. By June 2004 the singers were married. “Right, you’re absolutely right,” said the “American Idol” judge. “It was probably my first big heartbreak, and to have one of my best friends who I’d known for years who I actually love and did have chemistry with come into my life and say, ‘I’m here.’ What you need to know is, nobody can save you or heal you. Only you can do that for you.” Lopez, who has a string of exes — including three ex-husbands — has said in recent months that she’s taking a break from men for a bit. “I’m open to love, but right now, I think it’s better to just be on my own for a minute and learn more about myself,” the 45-year-old told Shriver. In Lopez’s new memoir, “True Love,” out Nov. 4, she details the painful time in her life when she realized her marriage to Anthony was coming to an end. “My kids were only like three years old at the time and the whole thing was heartbreaking and it’s so funny how life is like that sometimes,” the singer told Meredith Vieira in an interview airing Monday. “You are having tremendous highs and at the same time you are going through, probably the worst moment of my life at that moment.” In her book, Lopez also writes about suffering from mental, emotional and verbal abuse in the past, but doesn’t specify which of her exes were abusive. “I’ve never gotten a black eye or a busted lip, but I’ve been in relationships where I have felt abused in way or another: mentally, emotionally, verbally,” she writes. “I know what it feels like for your soul to be diminished by the way your loved one is treating you.” She’s just airing out ALL her personal business, huh? Via Mirror : A 14-strong gang of pranksters parading as armed, sinister clowns have been arrested in southern France for threatening people with knives and guns. The disguised mob were seemingly taking part in the ‘evil clown’ craze seen both in the US and in Britain. The group were arrested last night in a school car park in the Mediterranean resort of Agde, with police claiming that they had been ‘laughing manically’ while chasing locals with weapons. A French national police spokesman said: “Since mid-October, a rumour inspired by videos published on the Internet has created the presence of threatening and aggressive clowns in France. “Symptomatic of the impact of the Internet, this phenomenon can lead to damaging individual acts and disturbances to public order.” The arrests come after a man dressed as a clown was caught in Montpellier last week, attacking a pedestrian with an iron bar. The menacing phenomenon is thought to have been inspired by both a viral YouTube video showing a terrifying clown scaring people, and a recent episode of US TV series American Horror Story featuring Twisty the killer clown. In the northern French town of Bethune, a fake clown also received a six-month suspended jail term last week for threatening passers-by. London’s Metropolitan Police has been dealing with 117 clown-related incidents in 2013 across the capital alone. In Portsmouth, a masked figure lurking in the streets began stroking passers-by with a single red-gloved finger this month. Police in America have made dozens of arrests in recent weeks, with the terrifying trend most prominent in California. So evil killer clowns that attack innocent passersby are indeed real. Welp.
