Oh No He Didn’t! Chrissy Bosh Says He ONLY Trusts Dwyane Wade To Make Game-Winning Shots

Eff a LeBron! Chrissy had this to say about which Heat teammate he’d want taking the last shot: GQ: Quick hypothetical, toes aside: Let’s say the game was tied. 10 seconds left. You had 30 points, LeBron’s got 30, and Wade’s got 30. You got the same amount of rebounds, same amount of assists—having the same great game. Who takes the shot at the end to either win or loose the game. Chris Bosh: [immediately] Dwyane. GQ: Why? Chris Bosh: Because of his success in the past, given what he’s done. He’s a champ. He’s an MVP, and he’s hit a bunch of last-second shots. That’s the time you have to put pride aside a little bit, and do what’s best for the team. He’s quickest, and he’s gonna get a shot off. He relishes those moments. Damn, Chrissy. LeBron’s already crying after blowing game after game this season and last year. Now you’re throwing him under the bus like that. Well, we know who’s getting traded if the Heat fall apart this season. Bye, Chrissy! More On Bossip! HPV Myths Debunked

The rest is here:

The Human Papillomavirus  (HPV) is one of the most common STD’s today. Most of us are misinformed in terms of how the virus is contracted and who is susceptible to it. There are so many misconceptions about the virus it’s hard to tell the facts from the myths. How much do you know about HPV, and how do you protect yourself from this cervical-cancer causing STD? Our partners at ivillage.com have come up with 10 common HPV myths that will help demystify HPV: Myth #1: Most People Won’t Get HPV Fact: Human papillomaviruses (HPV) is the most common STD in the United States — so common that 80 percent of all sexually active men and women will get it at some point in their life. While it’s true that the more partners you have, the more likely you are to pick up the STD, you can contract HPV during your very first sexual experience, whether you use a condom or not. In fact, 80 percent of people who’ve had as few as four sexual partners have been infected with the virus, according to Nancy Kiviat, M.D., Director of the Medicine Pathology HPV Group at the University of Washington. But most people never show symptoms and may never know they’ve had HPV. According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), 90 percent of cases will naturally clear the system within two years. Chris Klein Becomes A Trendsetter On ‘When I Was 17’

The ‘American Pie’ star recalls a prank played on him in this Saturday’s episode. By Henna Kathiya Chris Klein on “When I Was 17” Photo: MTV Chris Klein was already 20 when he played all-American lacrosse-player Oz, one of four friends trying to get laid by prom night in “American Pie.” But the movie’s hijinks and pranks weren’t far from his real-life experience in high school. In the latest episode of “When I Was 17,” airing Saturday at 11 a.m., Chris reminisces about a prank that was played at his expense in high school. “I went to public school, but I myself had a uniform, which was a white T-shirt, loose blue jeans and Airwalk shoes,” says the actor, who is reprising his Oz role for next year’s “American Reunion.” “Oh, and then there were the necklaces,” he adds, recalling the beaded necklaces in school colors that were made by the cheerleaders. “I was a huge fan of the necklaces.” Because the actor wore the same outfit without fail every single day, his fashion sense was something of notice for his fellow classmates. “One day, I walked into school and all of a sudden there is a bit of an uproar and everyone is clapping and laughing and having a good time. I look around and nearly everyone in my class was dressed exactly how I dressed every day,” he says. “It was dress like Chris Klein day.” His whole class showed up to school wearing white T-shirts and blue jeans, making sure not to forget the key element: the beaded necklaces. His classmates punked him for sure, which probably made acting in “American Pie” a piece of cake. For more stories from Chris’ youth, don’t miss the new episode of “When I Was 17,” also featuring Amy Lee and Theophilus London , airing Saturday at 11 a.m. ET on MTV. ‘Contagion’: The Reviews Are In!

‘You may never again be able to touch your face without asking yourself where those hands have been,’ one critic says of germ thriller. By Kara Warner Jude Law in “Contagion” Photo: WB Perhaps the most terrifying film opening in theaters this weekend is not one full of high-pitched screams, blood and guts, but rather the discomfort and cringing that accompanies the spread of killer germs. “Contagion” — featuring an all-star cast that includes Matt Damon, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Laurence Fishburne, Gwyneth Paltrow and Marion Cotillard — demonstrates how quickly a cough can turn into a worldwide epidemic, as the characters reel from the rapid progress of an airborne virus that kills within days. Ordinary citizens are forced to come to terms with disease and death, while the medical community scrambles to find a cure and control the hysteria that spreads along with the virus. With a certified fresh rating of more than 80 percent on Rotten Tomatoes , “Contagion” seems to be creeping out moviegoers in the best and most realistic way possible. The Story “Global in scale but very particular in focus, ‘Contagion’ unfolds as an engrossing, believable search for Patient Zero and an effective vaccine. (‘It’s not a good time to be a rhesus monkey,’ remarks one character dryly.) More grounded in science than suspense, its rhythms evoke the steady beat of the crime procedural as the Centers for Disease Control (represented by Laurence Fishburne, Kate Winslet and a terrific Jennifer Ehle) and the World Health Organization (fronted by Marion Cotillard) work to save lives and stem panic.” — Jeannette Catsoulis, NPR The Direction “From his very first independent films through the “Ocean’s” trilogy and the widely misunderstood, little-seen “Che,” Soderbergh has viewed human life and human actions from a voyeuristic, almost clinical perspective, and in that sense a movie about disease and science and bureaucracy — about systems, rather than people — is a perfect fit. … There’s really no arguing with “Contagion” on technical grounds. The story it tells is based on sound epidemiology (even if some individual plot events are implausible) and the composition and editing are masterful. Instead of the usual two and a half hours of a Roland Emmerich-style disaster flick, this one is an economical 105 minutes, none of them wasted.” — Andrew O’Hehir, Salon.com The Cringe Factor “What we have here is one of the finest “breakdown of society” movies I’ve ever seen. If you’re the type of person who finds the opening credits montage the most frightening aspect of Romero’s original “Dawn of the Dead,” the instigating event to the apocalypse in “Contagion” is (sigh) a very real threat. Read “Flu” by Gina Kolata — or better yet, don’t, because maybe you like sleeping at night.” — Jordan Hoffman, UGO The Final Word: Pro/Con/Pro Style “If you’re looking for some kind of poetry — some exalted dramatic arc that lifts this narrative out of the ordinary — you won’t find it here. ‘Contagion’ is as straightforward as an episode of ‘CSI,’ but it’s gripping from start to finish. Now, excuse me while I wipe down my computer keyboard. — Leonard Maltin, IndieWire “Juggling multiple plotlines proved successful in Mr. [Soderbergh]’s ‘Traffic’ (and even more so in Alejandro Gonz

Old Heads Need To Wrap It Up Too!!! 10 Percent Of New HIV Cases Are People Age 50 Or Older [Video]

By 2015 more than 50% of all people living with HIV in the US will be over 50. Anna Fowlkes, 64, didn’t date for years after her husband, Sonny, died of a brain tumor. And after she finally did, she learned she’d become infected with HIV. She taught her son about safe sex, she says, but, like many other seniors, it didn’t occur to her that she needed to practice it too. “We are of a generation where that was not something we have to think about,” she says. “Now I know better.” One in 10 people newly diagnosed with HIV are age 50 or older, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s 2006 statistics, the last year for which there is data. Dr. Brad Hare, the medical director of San Francisco General Hospital’s HIV/AIDS clinic, Ward 86, says up to half of the new infections seen in San Francisco among that age group are in women. That’s far higher than the 27 percent of new infections that occur in women of all ages, according to the CDC’s 2006 statistics. Some, like Fowlkes, may be entering a new sexual relationship for the first time in decades after the death of a spouse and may not be aware of the risk, says Hare. In other cases, women may have believed they were in a monogamous relationship with a husband or partner, who wasn’t monogamous with them. Today, Fowlkes, is an advocate for HIV prevention among her peers. “I don’t want [others] to have to go down the road I’ve gone down,” she says. “I want them to get tested.” It’s so important to be informed! Get tested and use protection. Sources

Minority Infants Much More Likely To Have HIV

View original post here:

A new government report says that the rates of HIV infection in infants are significantly higher among blacks and Hispanics than whites, and preventive measures are needed to reduce the disparity. Although the number of HIV-infected infants has declined overall, among black babies, the rate of perinatal HIV infection — meaning transmission at the time of birth — is 23 times higher than for whites, and among Hispanics, the rate is four times higher, according to findings published in the Feb. 5 issue of the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The average rate of perinatal infection in the United States is 2.7 per 100,000 live births, the report indicates. For blacks, the rate is 12.3 per 100,000; for Hispanics, 2.0 per 100,000; and for whites, 0.5 per 100,000. The researchers, who analyzed data from 34 states from 2004 to 2007, noted that transmission from an HIV-infected mother to her child can be significantly reduced through preventive measures. So what can we do to help? *  Be sure that if you are single and sexually active, you protect yourself each and every time. Always use condoms and if pregnancy is not desired, seek medical attention and get on some birth control! *  Make sure that if you are engaging in risky behaviors such as sharing needles and exchanging bodily fluids, you get tested regularly. *  Primary HIV prevention in women is key and efforts should be specifically directed towards black and Hispanic women. All HIV-positive women who are pregnant should have access to quality health care and take advantage of preventive measures, including early treatment with antiretroviral medications, the report stated. * HIV infection should be diagnosed before or early in pregnancy * All moms-to-be should receive prenatal care *  HIV-positive women should follow an antiretroviral medication regimen throughout pregnancy *  A cesarean delivery should be scheduled at 38 weeks’ gestation if the virus has not been suppressed *  Antiretroviral medication should be taken during labor and delivery *  Newborns exposed to HIV should receive antiretroviral medication within the first hours after birth and for the first six weeks of life. As a community, we must do all that we can to change these statistics as our youth will someday lead us into the future. It’s vital to educate our children at an early age about the dangers around HIV/AIDS that continue to tear down Black communities. Let’s take the extra step and protect our culture and race against this plague that is killing our people. Related Articles: Should 11-Year-Olds Be Allowed To Pick Up Condoms And Have Sex? Officials Concerned Over Justin Bieber Movie Never Say Never

He is everywhere. In the last month, pop sensation Justin Bieber has graced every part of American media in what can only be called saturation. He has been on Jay Leno, David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel, Regis, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, MTV, Vanity Fair, People, Us Weekly, CSI, the Super Bowl, The Today Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Lopez Tonight, the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards, Extreme Makeover, and others. Bieber just ended his 86 show world tour before Christmas and is scheduled to pick up again in March in Europe. He wins every award he is nominated for and has merchandise ranging from posters, calendars, headphones, nail polish, dolls, and other trinkets. His album and book sales are in the tens of millions. So what’s there to worry about? Seems everything is going great for Bieber. That just might be the problem. Movie theater owners around the country have been quietly ramping up for Friday’s release of Bieber’s “Never Say Never 3D”. And they are starting to panic. They have done the math and realize they only have so many theaters, seats, and tickets – in other words, “There are only a certain number of movie goers we can move through the system in a 24 hour period.” And that, my friends, seems to be the problem. Why? Because thousands of crazed Bieber fans are expected to swarm theaters and malls this weekend for their chance to see the megastar in 3D. Officials fear that malls and theaters around the country will be flooded with Bieber fans and that traffic and crowd control will become a problem. There is concern that fans will grow impatient and descend into various acts of civil unrest and disobedience. Factor in the fact that each screaming 13-year-old also has her mother with her, and… well that is an angry crowd I would try to avoid at all costs. Officials are discussing what to do about port-a-potties, extra security, aid stations, accidents, traffic control, fire rescue, wreckers and towing, media stations, reporters, satellite trucks, and the list goes on. Some major cities are expecting weeks of problems before things start to get better. Really? Is it possible? Could the United States be forced into weeks of anarchy and chaos just because millions of Justin Bieber fans can’t get tickets to see his movie? All we can pray for is that we will look our fellow man in the eye, and show the compassion and constraint that have held this country together through some if its darkest times. If CNN starts to report on mobs on angry, disobedient teens at thousands of theaters in all 50 states, and if FOX News starts comparing Bieber’s hold on his fans to the control of Hitler on Nazi Germany, if the Center for Disease Control declares Bieber Fever a pandemic, then life as we know it may have changed forever. We may never recover. Bieber’s hold on the world may just be too great. We may just have to fall to our knees and admit…. that the kid has unbelievable talent and deserves to be a star. Possibly over Three Thousand Miscarriages: CDC Still Lying about H1N1 Vaccine Safety

(NaturalNews) In a shocking report, the National Coalition of Organized Women (NCOW) presented data in September from two different sources demonstrating that the 2009/10 H1N1 vaccines contributed to as many as 3,587 cases of miscarriage and still deaths. Despite having the data, the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) has continued to assure pregnant women, a prime vaccine target group, and vaccine providers that the vaccine presents no risk for pregnant women. NCOW used data from their own survey of pregnant women aged 17-45 years and the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), including updates through July 11, to estimate the true number of miscarriages and stillbirths following an H1N1 flu vaccination in the U.S. NCOW estimated the number of miscarriages and stillbirths due to the H1N1 vaccine during the 2009/10-flu season to be 1,588, but they also noted that the figure was an average and that the number of miscarriages and stillbirths could have been as high as 3,587. http://arch1design.com/blog/latest_environmental_health_news/possibly-over-three… added by: heroinandcornflakes
