Disgraced politician John Edwards has asked his mistress Rielle Hunter to move into his North Carolina home, The National Enquirer has hilariously reported. “Rielle is considering the move,” a source close to her allegedly claims. In the latest issue of Life & Style , William Humphries – the father of Kris Humphries and the very brief father-in-law of Kim Kardashian – says he’d “love to write a book” about the ordeal Kim and her family put his son through. “It’s important to him that Kris’ side of the story is out there,” a friend tells the tabloid . Humphries may not be entitled to any of Kim’s assets, due to a prenup, but no non-disclosure agreement was ever signed. He and/or his dad are free to dish and dish and dish and “Kris has told his father everything,” a source notes. William “has many stories to tell,” the magazine reports. Last night was a BONUS episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and in case you missed it, you missed Sheree and Phaedra get served by Sheree’s ex-husband, Bob, in court. Unfortunately, Sheree and her ex-husband are still battling each other over child support, and when Bob beats Sheree to the punch by filing a petition to reduce his child support, Sheree hires her friend and lawyer, Phaedra to help her out with the case. Phaedra reminds Sheree that she still has the option to throw Bob in jail for failing to pay child support for the past four years, but who wants to see their child’s father sitting in a jail cell? Sheree decides to go ahead and take Bob back to court in attempts to get a substantial amount of child support for their children. Kim’s Baby Shower Turns Into A Complete Disaster! “RHOA” [RECAP] According to the housewives, the court system in Atlanta usually favors men especially high profile men like athletes which put Sheree in a tight situation. Although Sheree was nervous about the upcoming court date, Phaedra reassured her that everything would be okay, and to let her do all the talking. The day finally came for Sheree to face her ex in court, and although she was teary eyed, she put her big girl panties on, a pair of low pumps and slacks that hid her “big ol donky booty” and held her head high. Should Sheree Hound Her Ex Husband For Child Support? “RHOA” [RECAP] Less than five minutes into the case, Sheree’s ex hands the judge a Petition Contempt against Sheree, claiming that she took furniture from him during their divorce. Sheree wasn’t sweating, yet, as she stated, “Oh no, no, no, my attorney Phaedra Parks got something better for you boo!” But, Phaedra Parks had nothing. She was just as stunned as we were by Bob’s cleverness and ability to represent himself in court. I guess Sheree should have warned Phaedra ahead of time that Bob was a smart man, and had a degree from Stanford. They agreed to meet in court at a later date, so Phaedra could have time to review Bob’s petition. Later that afternoon, Sheree, Phaedra and Kandi meet for a quick lunch. Their conversation turns emotional with Sheree and Kandi begin talking about Sheree’s experience in court and Kandi’s experience with trying to get child support from her ex husband for her daughter Riley. It’s an emotional moment for the housewives, and it’s hard to watch these strong women broken down by their ex-men who aren’t active in their children’s lives. There’s no squabbling among judges on The Biggest Loser . No controversy over who gets eliminated each week and who goes on to collect the $250,000 grand prize at the end of the season because there is no voting. There is simply the scale, the numbers it reads and the resulting eliminations. Therefore, we can’t debate the merits of the “Battle of the Ages” winner, can just offer our congratulations to… … John Rhode! This 41-year old special education teacher and football coach from Mesa, Arizona dropped 220 pounds throughout the competition. That adds up to 49.44% of his initial weigh-in body weight of 445 pounds and, to put it mildly, is truly astounding. A job very well done, John!
It’s Tuesday and we’re watching The Real Housewives of Atlanta? Is anyone else confused? Due to the special night, we thought perhaps this would be a very merry holiday episode, Atlanta style. Instead things got downright down and dirty. Let’s break it down in THG’s +/- review! Bob’s dragging Sheree back to court to reduce his child support payments. Reduce it to what, you might ask, since he hasn’t paid a nickel in four years. Minus 15 . You can’t reduce nothing from nothing. So Sheree hires Phaedra to represent her and the legal diva gives Sheree some advice. First is to have Bob hauled off to jail for failing to make his support payments for four years. Plus 10 . Despite the current court case Sheree still has the right to hold his feet to the fire on that one but she backs down. She doesn’t want to do that to the father of her children. Minus 12 , honey. He’s got no problem bailing on his kids and he’d probably step over Sheree if she fell down in front of him. Isn’t it past time to kick a little Bob butt? Phaedra’s second piece of advice is that Sheree not drive up in her brand new Porsche or wear her most expensive outfit. Sheree is aghast. What she has shouldn’t matter and ideally she’s right but it’s not smart to ask for money when you’re holding a $16,000 purse. As Sheree is freaking out before court, Phaedra overcompensates, telling her how easy this case is going to be. Minus 8 . Never promise anything when you head to court. Anything can happen. In the end Bob used a stall tactic. He filed a contempt charge against his ex saying she took furniture that he should have gotten in the divorce. It’s completely lame but it did the trick. They’ll all have to go back to court once again. Sheree blames Phaedra because she promised her so much and delivered nothing. Honestly I don’t think there’s much Ms. Parks could have done here … other than not raise Sheree’s hopes. And if Sheree had taken Phaedra’s advice in the first place the deadbeat dad would be filing motions from a jail cell. Kandi decides to update her sets for her web based sex show Kandi Koated Nights. The sets don’t help much when your guests are sitting there texting while the show’s in progress. Tonight’s topic: How can women snare a pro-athlete? Her guest host Charles Grant basically says women shouldn’t act like hookers if they want to be treated like ladies. I’ll give him a Plus 5 for his directness. Then Kandi wants to know how he want from NeNe to girlfriend Marlo who happens to be sitting next to him. Minus 8 to Kandi. I know she’s looking to be salacious but it comes across low class. Charles says he’s never been with NeNe. Then Kandi starts prying into where Marlo got her money. I bet the couple was wondering why the hell they agreed to come on this tacky little show.  Oh, but Kandi did share her favorite sex positions with her audience. Isn’t that something we all need to know. I’m guessing Kandi will be using her show to pimp her new line of musical sex toys. Sounds like a perfect fit. After giving birth on Sunday’s episode , Kim and Kroy take KJ home. I wish it all surrounded the cute baby. Instead we had to endure more talk about Kim’s boobs, her father’s breastfeeding jokes, why Kim’s scared of her son’s penis, her awe over baby poop and then we got to watch the dog pee on the floor. Minus 10 . Good times. Unfortunately for Kroy, Kim has yet to change a diaper and Brielle is more interested in being a teenager than helping out. ‘I’m just moving forward,’ basketball player said Friday on ‘Good Morning America.’ By Jocelyn Vena Kris Humphries on “Good Morning America” Photo: ABC News Kris Humphries has remained relatively low-key since his split from Kim Kardashian , but the basketball player sat down with “Good Morning America” on Friday (December 9) to finally speak out about his divorce from the reality starlet. “For me, it’s just certain things happen in life and you’ve got to move forward,” he said. “Through everything I’m just focused on family and preparing for basketball. Basketball has always been something I’ve taken really serious and I continue to do that and I’m just moving forward.” While the couple, who had been married for 72 days before they confirmed their split in October, are no longer together, their relationship is playing out on the current season of “Kourtney & Kim Take New York.” “I can’t say for sure or not for sure [if the cameras hurt my marriage],” Humphries said on “GMA.” “It’s the only time I’ve been married. I’ve been in the NBA since I was 19 years old, but it’s a different level. “I’m focused on just what I can control. I don’t really play into all the gossip and things that take place, but that’s life,” continued the currently free agent, who also has a foundation dedicated to fighting childhood obesity. “I’ve been doing a lot of things with my foundation and spending time with my family and working on my game. Hopefully I’ll be on a team soon and get ready to go.” Humphries, who recently filed for annulment after Kim filed for divorce, also baked cookies on the show with his mom and kept most of his talk about Kim and the split focused on the here and now and not so much on the events that led to the split. “Really right now I’m focused on basketball and other things will take care of themselves. New Birth Missionary Baptist Church pastor Eddie Long told his congregation on Sunday that he was taking a brief leave from the Lithonia megachurch. Long said he plans to use the time off to heal his family. “I’m still your pastor. You’ll still receive my direction,” Bishop Eddie Long said Sunday. “You’ve given me some weeks to take care of some family business.” As we previously reported, Long’s wife, Vanessa, filed for divorce on Thursday. She later backtracked on the divorce only to have her lawyers release another statement hours later saying the divorce was back on. Long’s wife, Vanessa, filed for divorce late Thursday afternoon. She said Friday morning, via a statement prepared by the church’s spokesman, that she had changed her mind but by day’s end announced the divorce was on. After Vanessa’s divorce filing Eddie Long released this statement: “God has blessed us with a wonderful family. Vanessa is, and has always been, a loving, dedicated and committed wife and Mother. My love for her is deep and unwavering. It remains our sincere desire to continue working together in seeking God’s Will in these circumstances. We will do so as privately as possible and with a spirit of love and sensitivity to our family. We ask that you be in prayer for our family and that we be allowed to privately pursue this important path without need, or request from the media, for further comment.” In his sermon on Sunday, Long reiterated that he had no plans to resign, saying he had not “stepped down,” but instead had “stepped up.” Several protesters picketing outside New Birth Sunday morning said Long didn’t go far enough and needs to resign. Last fall four young men accused Eddie Long of sexual abuse. Although Long vowed to fight the charges, he later settled the matter out of court for an undisclosed sum of money. It was later revealed that a fifth man, Centino Kemp, also received settlement money. New Birth once boasted a membership of roughly 25,000, but attendance has declined in the year since the sexual coercion lawsuit was filed.
