Return to Return of the Living Dead with Nude Documentary More Brains! [VIDEO]

Mr. Skin is such a big fan of Linnea Quigley ‘s graveyard nude scene in Return of the Living Dead (1985) , he named it #10 on his Top Ten Horror Movie Nude Scenes of All Time list. In fact, he knows more about that scene than the makers of the new behind-the-scenes documentary More Brains! A Return To The Living Dead . Accoring to EW , the documentary purports to break the nudes that Linnea was “sporting a specially made prostheses-cum-merkin on the orders of a concerned producer ” in the skinfamous striptease scene. But if you’ve read Mr. Skin’s review of the flick, then you already knew that Quigley’s Down Under in Return of the Living Dead was not the work of God, but of the SFX department. Guess EW doesn’t spend their time staring at women’s crotches in ’80s fright flicks. Losers. Still, the doc promises to be a rollicking romp packed with trivia about the zombie classic, including the last on-camera interview with writer-director Dan O’Bannon , who passed away in 2009. Jay-Z On Past Assault Charge: “F*ck It I’m Guilty!” [EXCLUSIVE]

Excerpt from:

There were tons of highlights from Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne shows at Philips Arena this weekend, but one that really stood out was when Jigga performed his hit “Izzo (H.O.V.A.),” which includes the hook “Not guilty / Y’all got to feel me!” But during the Watch the Throne show, Jay altered the lyrics to “Izzo” and said on the hook: “F*ck it, I’m guilty!” Back in 1999 Jay-Z was charged in New York with stabbing record exec Lance “Un” Rivera at a listening party for Q-Tip’s “Amplified” album. Apparently Jigga blamed Rivera for allegedly bootlegging the “In My Lifetime Volume 3″ album. Despite maintaining his innocence in two songs (see below), Jay eventually plead guilty to third-degree assault and was sentenced to three years of probation. He was facing 15 years in jail if the case had gone to trial, which is why many people speculate he plead guilty rather than face prison time, even though he maintained his innocence. Is Soulja Boy’s Arrest A Publicity Stunt?

View post:

Soulja Boy was arrested yesterday (October 18th) for being caught with weed and weapons, but the timing has some wondering if this was just a big, fat publicity stunt. This is the time when he’s supposed to be promoting his documentary Soulja Boy: The Movie , but his arrest has generated way more attention than a series of interviews could have. Was Soulja Boy making a calculated move by getting arrested, or was he dumb enough to get caught with weed and weapons? And if this is a publicity stunt, are we making it worse by talking about Soulja Boy, mentioning his documentary, and posting the trailer below? Read more about the publicity stunt theory at TMZ .

REVIEW: Gorgeous Doc Bombay Beach Seems Earnest But Raises Questions of Exploitation

Where does appreciation end and exploitation begin? Gorgeous and disquieting, the documentary Bombay Beach wobbles between the two like a beginner gymnast on her first attempt on the balance beam. On one side, it’s a poetic, freeform examination of the lives of a few of the residents of the area of the title, located by the Salton Sea in the Southern California desert. On the other, it’s an uncomfortable fetishization of the community’s outsider status, dictated by poverty, by location and by an inability or unwillingness to exist elsewhere. Israeli-born director Alma Har’el, who comes from a background of music videos and commercials, doesn’t just bask in this abundance of scenic, decaying Americana, she shapes it into choreographed dance interludes with the subjects, who twirl outside their mobile homes and don carnival masks to cavort in an outdoor gazebo. It’s a bit of whimsy as pretty and problematic as the film as a whole.

Jennifer Ella: Her Violent Past Detailed

About a year before she started dating Chaz Bono , Jennifer Ella had an incident that she would just as soon forget. She was arrested and booked on a charge of “battery of an ex-spouse/fiancee/person with a dating relationship.” Pretty hard core. Often referred to as “ simple domestic battery ,” the charge means that the perpetrator or attacker can be arrested “even if only the slightest force is used in the incident … any unwanted physical touching will suffice.” Short story, you don’t have to injure the victim to be convicted. The outcome of Jennifer’s case is unknown, as only the victim and the victim’s family are privy to it. Most likely, it was dropped or settled out of court. Jennifer Ella may have hinted at her alleged aggression in the documentary Becoming Chaz when she admitted: “When things get tough, I start to drink.” Happily, Jennifer said in May that she’s 14 months sober. She’ll be cheering on Chaz Bono as he competes in week three of Dancing With the Stars tonight. Chaz says he wants to marry Jennifer Ella within a year. [Photo: WENN.com]
