WENN Donald Trump’s Administration Just Cut $200 Million From Teen Pregnancy Programs In not so surprising news, Trump and his administration have cut a huge amount of money from funding for teen pregnancy programs, $213.6 Million to be exact. These budget cuts amount to two years’ worth of funding from five-year grants that were given to these same programs by the Obama administration two years ago, designed to help find scientifically proven ways to help teens avoid unwanted pregnancy. The annual grant letter sent to the Federal Office of Adolescent Health this year began with the following sentence: “this award also shortens the project period to end June 30, 2018, at the end of this budget year,” though the initial end date when rewarded was said to be 2020. Those affected by these cuts include the Chicago Department of Public Health, the University of Southern California, and the Healthy Teen Network in Baltimore. Though teen pregnancy rates have been steadily declining since 1990, and were at a record low in 2016, the U.S. teen pregnancy rate is still the highest among developed countries. So shoutout to Trump and his administration for taking a step in the wrong direction and cutting spending when we really need it. Is his term over yet???

The Polish First Lady posed for a photo opportunity with the President, fellow First Lady Melania Trump and Polish President Andrzej Duda on Thursday, standing side-by-side with the aforementioned trio in front of the Warsaw Uprising Monument on Krasinski Square. Just moments before the quartet gathered for the picture above, Donald Trump delivered a speech during the Three Seas Initiative Summit in Duda's native country. After the cameras stopped clicking, however, and it was time for the wives and husbands to part ways, Duda got in what can only be interpreted as a parting shot at the controversial Commander-in-Chief. In the video below, you'll see the Presidents shake hands and utter a few pleasantries. You'll then see Trump extend his hand out to Duda, only for her to walk right past it and embrace Melania instead! HA! As far as we know, she never circled back and acknowledged The Donald, who was left standing with an embarrassed, angry and stunned look on his face. In Duda's defense, it's possible that Trump's hand was so small she didn't even see it there. But watch the video for yourself and decide: Was this a purposeful dissing of our President?

Appearing at the Glastonbury Film Festival yesterday, Depp told the crowd that the “press” would likely get a hold of what he was about to say, but… screw it! He was gonna go ahead and say it anyway. When was the last time an actor assassinated a president? Depp stupidly asked. The distasteful, borderline illegal remark prompted Depp to be roasted over the Twitter coals (below), while it also elicited a reaction from the White House . “President Trump has condemned violence in all forms and it’s sad that others like Johnny Depp have not followed his lead,” the Trump administration said in a statement this afternoon, adding: “I hope that some of Mr. Depp’s colleagues will speak out against this type of rhetoric as strongly as they would if his comments were directed to a democrat elected official.” It’s hard to disagree with any point made here. With the backlash mounting, Depp came out on Friday and said he was sorry. “I apologize for the bad joke I attempted last night in poor taste about President Trump,” the actor told People . “It did not come out as intended, and I intended no malice. “I was only trying to amuse, not to harm anyone.” It was pretty clear that Depp regretted the remark as soon as he uttered it. “I want to clarify, I’m not an actor. I lie for a living,” Depp said in an attempt to backtrack, just moments after making his quasi threat last night. But new information has surfaced that makes it clear Depp can’t really be all that sorry. It also makes it clear that Depp may have disdain for Trump, but he’s also had disdain for the office of the President for a very long time now. TMZ has unearthed photos that depict Depp standing in front of the White House and raising his middle finger. There’s also a photo of him picking his nose in the press room, along with tales of how disrespectful he acted in general during a trip to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in January of 1988. On hand for a ceremony for the fight against AIDS hosted by President and Nancy Reagan, the then-21 Jump Street star flipped off cameras and made rude gestures during a private White House tour. He reportedly angered the Secret Service when he lit up a cigarette in the Rose Garden at one point and then dared to do so again in the Blue Room. When the time for him to stand in receiving line and meet the President came, agents told Depp he could not participate because he had shown disrespect. Getty Images Philadelphia Redesigns Pride Flag For The Black LGBTs Last week, the city of ‘brotherly love’ unveiled a redesigned Pride flag . Their new and improved version added black and brown stripes to the rainbow, in recognition of LGBTQ people of color. Curbed.com reports that this is just the first visual reminder from city that they include black and brown LGBT member and support all of the community. Back in January of 2016, an American college student named Otto Warmbier was detained by North Korean officials after allegedly attempting to steal a government propaganda banner while visiting Pyongyang. In the weeks that followed, Warmbier’s family watched in horror as their son tearfully begged for leniency in open court, only to be sentenced to 15 years hard labor by the Kim Jong-Un regime. This morning, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson announced that Warmbier has been released from prison and will return to the US following a round of successful negotiations with North Korean leaders. Unfortunately, it’s not all good news for Warmbier’s long-suffering family back in his native Cincinnatti. Several news outlets are reporting today that the newly released 22-year-old is in a coma for reasons that remain somewhat unclear. In an interview with The Washington Post , Warmbier’s parents revealed that their son has been in a coma since shortly after his last public appearance in March of 2016. He is currently being medically evacuated via a US military base in Sapporo, Japan. “Our son is coming home,” Fred Warmbier told the newspaper. “At the moment, we’re just treating this like he’s been in an accident. We get to see our son Otto tonight.” North Korean officials claim that Warmbier came down with botulism shortly after being incarcerated. He was reportedly given a sleeping pill and never awoke after losing consciousness. Tillerson made no mention of Warmbier’s condition in a statement announcing his relase: “At the direction of the President, the Department of State has secured the release of Otto Warmbier from North Korea,” Tillerson said. “Mr. Warmbier is en route to the United States, where he will be reunited with his family.” Tillerson stated that he will not comment further “out of respect for the privacy of Mr. Warmbier and his family.” The news of Warmbier’s release comes on the heels of reports that former NBA star Dennis Rodman will soon head to North Korea on a diplomatic visit. Rodman has met with Kim Jong-Un in the past and has stated that he considers the dictator a friend. We’ll have further updates on this developing story as more information becomes available.
