Ever since co-signing Donald Trump’s MAGA madness that’s been tearing away at the fabric that is our democracy and turning political norms on it’s head, Kanye West has been making some interesting choices, including starting a weekly Sunday service in which he and his congregation praise the Lord in Yeezy fashion. Naturally, the service is an exclusive affair and held at a secret location in LA. So when it was announced that Kanye would be taking his choir with him to Coachella to give the crowd a spiritual experience, we didn’t know what to expect but it has happened and of course, it was something to behold. Taking to a hilltop stage at a camping area of the festival, Kanye’s set began at nine in the morning, but Yeezus himself didn’t take to the mic until two hours later where he set things off with his ’04 classic cut “All Falls Down” before eventually debuting his new spiritually moving track “Water.” Rocking a new Easter-egg lavender colored wig piece and purple church getup, Ye rocked the crowd as only he can and gave attendees a show they’ll soon not forget. President Donald Trump has a lot to worry about these days. Specifically, the Commander-in-Chief must be wondering whether he’ll get impeached, whether he should resign and whether history will remember him as a traitor to his country or a really huge traitor to his country. But Milania Giudice would really appreciate it if President Trump took a moment to consider her request right now. The 13-year old has posted a message on social media about her father, Joe, and is very likely pending deportation. Joe Giudice, of course, pleaded guilty to bankruptcy and financial fraud back in 2016 and just recently completed a lengthy stint in prison for his crimes. Back in October, however, a judge determined that Joe – who is NOT an American citizen – must return to his native country of Italy once he’s no longer a ward of the state. This is what very often happens when an immigrant commits a felony. Joe Giudice is not usually the face of immigration in this regard, but here we are. Now that Giudice’s appeal to have this deportation decision reversed has been denied by a court , the former reality star is almost definitely headed back to Italy. Much to the understandable chagrin of his four daughters. “We will never stop fighting for you daddy,” Milania captioned the throwback photo of herself and her father above, adding: “It’s not the same without you. I miss you terribly. I wouldn’t be the person I am today with out you, I wouldn’t know how to stay strong. I need you home daddy. All I want is to be a family again. I love you endlessy buddy.” The young teenager added two pink hearts to her post — as well as the hashtag #freejoegiudice and she also tagged President Donald Trump. Trump, of course, really hates immigrants in this country. He especially hates immigrants who break the law, so he doesn’t seem like the ideal person to help Milania out here. Which really does make us sad, despite our disdain for Joe and his equally unethical and entitled wife, Real Housewife of New Jersey Teresa Giudice. These two may suck, but they have four innocent kids at home. The oldest of these kids, Gia, shared her own social media message to Joe/about Joe in response to his deportation appeal getting rejected this month. “Pictures, memories, and hope is the only thing that has gotten my family this far. we are fighters but my father is someone who is one of the most important people in my life,” she wrote, concluding: “not a day goes by where we don’t love you, miss you, and fight for you with all our hearts. you will be home with us soon daddy. I love you so much.” Heartbreaking, right? Teresa, though, doesn’t seem to really care that her husband is being sent to another country. She has very casually said already that she plans to divorce Joe once he gets kicked out of the United States. “I’m not doing a long-distance relationship. I’m not doing it,” she coldly said a few weeks ago, explaining herself as follows: “You know, I want somebody with me every day. I know exactly what happens. You know, I’m sure he’ll be with other women. It happens. We do the long-distance thing, it’s not going to work. I’d be like, ‘Bye, bye.’” We really hope Teresa’s kids never read that quote. The only real hope remaining for Joe appears to rest with Trump, whose mind really is occupied with other things at the moment. Although Teresa’s hair stylist, Lucia Casazza, figures there’s no harm in asking anyway. “All the things you have done I think you can make a motion to bring this man home back to his family instead of sending him to a country that he has no ties to besides his cultural background,” she wrote on Instagram yesterday, directing her plea to the Oval Office and concluding: “@realdonaldtrump Make a motion to pardon Joe Giudice.” View Slideshow: Teresa Giudice: The Wedding Ring is Off!

Fortunately, on Monday, it was announced Flint is finally set to receive the remaining $77.7 million it was promised, as part of the $120 million loan allocated to the city back in 2017 following their water crisis . “$77.7 million in loan assistance at a zero percent interest rate with 100-percent principal loan forgiveness,” Michigan Department of Environmental Quality announced . “The loan will fund the completion of a secondary water source pipeline, Dort Street and Cedar Street Reservoir and Pump Station improvements, construction of a chemical feed building, replacement of the Northwest transmission main, water main and water meter replacement, water quality monitoring panels, and contingency service line replacement funding. These projects will enhance the water distribution system by ensuring long-term compliance and protection of public health.” Monroe County and the City of East Lansing will also receive funding to improve their respective water distribution systems . “While we are grateful for this funding it’s important to understand it’s not new funding,” Flint’s Director of Public Works Rob Bincsik said, according to MLive . “The federal government awarded this funding and is utilizing the MDEQ’s Drinking Water Revolving Fund as the mechanism to disperse it to the City of Flint.” This is great news and we’ll continue to keep you informed as updates are provided. At the end of March, beloved rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot dead , murdered by an acquaintance following a verbal disagreement. Nipsey's funeral included tributes from singers and politicians. He was mourned by thousands — he is mourned by thousands. Fox News villain Laura Ingraham decided to mock those mourners. To smear Nipsey for her viewers, she played a video of a different black man. “Yesterday in L.A.,” Laura Ingraham says in a now viral Fox News clip. “Thousands lined the streets to say goodbye to rapper Nipsey Hussle.” “Now this dear artist,” she says, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “Recently released a song called 'FDT.'” Ingraham then explains that the song's title stands for: “Eff Donald Trump” We don't say this often because it is rarely true, but Ingraham is right about the meaning of that title. She then immediately squanders that brief moment of not being wrong by playing a clip from the music video. As you will see when you watch the clip, the video focuses on an L.A. rapper by the name of YG. That's because it's his song, from his 2016 album, Still Brazy . Nipsey is featured in the song, but it's not his song and he didn't release it. It's also not “recent” in music terms. The song is three years old. Why did Laura Ingraham use her show and platform to play the wrong music video in an attempt to disparage Nipsey? Maybe she just wanted to address hot topics and give her core demographic — ageing white supremacists — a target for their ire. A rapper who doesn't like Trump would certainly make an inviting target. Fox News' whole brand is about distracting people from real stories by drumming up pointless outrage. And maybe Ingraham and her entire staff really didn't know YG from Nipsey. They look like different people to us. But maybe all “Trump critics” look the same to them. Ingraham's latest bad move comes on the heels of months of controversy, including her verbal attacks on children who survive school shootings. The accused white nationalist's remarks have been praised by members of the KKK. In the mean time, rappers and black celebrities have called for a boycott of Ingraham's show. The goal is to deprive her of the platform that she uses to sow misinformation and hatred. Absolutely anyone would mistake one face for another, especially if one spends all day staring at faces. One would hope that someone with the infinite resource of Fox News behind them would be able to do some basic fact-checking. Of course, that's doesn't seem to be a priority for them. The fact that Laura Ingraham continues to have a job shows that the network doesn't take her white nationalist rants seriously. Or worse — that they're pleased with her hateful words. We're sorry to say that mocking the lyrics of an associate of a dead black man is far from the worst thing that Ingraham has said. A man named Eric Holder was arrested for Nipsey's murder and for the shooting of the two men who were with Nipsey but survived. The 29-year-old was brought in following a manhunt and has entered a plea of Not Guilty. His defense attorney is Chris Darden — yes, the very same attorney who rose to fame as a prosecutor on the O.J. Simpson trial. If Holder is convicted, he may face life behind bars.
This week we sit down with the actors behind the film “The Curse of La Llorona” that claims to bring the iconic legend to life in a terrifying original horror film set in the world kicked off by The Conjuring. The movie takes place in Los Angeles, Calfornia in the 70s and follows Anna Tate-Garcia played by Linda Cardellini. She’s a social worker who is struggling to balance her job and raising her kids because she is still coping with the loss of her husband, a cop who was murdered on the job. Determined to keep up with the responsibilities of her job Anna gets called to the home of Patricia Alvarez played by Patricia Velasquez, and finds her two young sons locked in a closet, she interprets their terrified mother’s desperate efforts to keep them locked away as a dangerous sign of abuse, when in reality she is protecting them from La Llorona, but since Anna is a skeptic she doesn’t believe her and takes her kids away. This sparks a series of events that make a horror film that does its job. Scare the screams out of you. I sat down with Breaking Bad’s Raymond Cruz, Linda Cardellini, and Patricia Valesquez to break down their movie. We talked about balancing acting vs really being scared and Patricia explained that with a movie like this, there is no playing because you’re really scared. Patricia also told me that La Llorona is real, “It’s only La Llorona, she was the biggest one. We really believe in her. Your parents will keep you at home. When it gets dark come in or La Llorona will get you. Listen to your parents of La Llorona will get you!” Raymond chimed in saying Latin kids have a bigger monster to worry about saying, “Nowadays… There’s Trump.” It’s an obvious dig at Donald Trump immigration policy that’s ripping Mexican kids away from their parents and locking them in cages. After that, we kept the politics out of this interview and focused on the scariest movies of all time in which we talked about The Exorcist, Jaws and The Nightmare On Elm Street franchise. Judging from these three films I think that’s the reason why every movie in The Conjuring Universe holds weight because their actors know what it’s like to be scared by a movie. Go see The Curse Of La Llorona hitting theaters everywhere this Friday, it’s definitely worth your money.

Kim Kardashian West has finally figured out what she wants to be when she grows up. At the age of 38 and with three kids at home, the reality star is giving us a MAJOR plot twist. And by major — I mean Kim just actually declared one. During a cover interview for this month’s Vogue issue, Kim opened up about a surprising life announcement … she’s becoming a lawyer. Legit. She will actually be opening up a book and studying to become a lawyer. The soon-to-be mother of four said she decided last summer to begin a four-year apprenticeship with a law firm in San Francisco, with the goal of taking the bar in 2022. The exam that is so notoriously hard — especially in the state of California, where it spans three days — even Hilary Clinton failed it the first time around. Of course, she obviously went on to still have an extremely successful legal career — so I guess anything is possible for the reality star. “I had to think long and hard about this,” Kim said. The choice came from the combination of “seeing a really good result” with Alice Marie Johnson’s case while simultaneously feeling like she needed to do more. “I never in a million years thought we would get to the point of getting laws passed,” she says. “That was really a turning point for me.” Still, she knew her celebrity superpowers weren’t enough and she needed more, hence her desire to educate herself. “The White House called me to advise me to help change the system of clemency, and I’m sitting in the Roosevelt Room with, like, a judge who had sentence criminals and a lot of really powerful people,” she explained. “And I just sat there, like, Oh, shit. I need to know more.” Kardashian West, 38, has been working with author and CNN commentator Van Jones and attorney Jessica Jackson for months, visiting prisons, petitioning governors, and attending meetings at the White House. Husband Kanye West already has his foot in the door there anyway — so why not! “I would say what I had to say, about the human side and why this is so unfair. But I had attorneys with me who could back that up with all the facts of the case,” she explained. “It’s never one person who gets things done; it’s always a collective of people and I’ve always known my role, but I just feel like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society.” “I just felt like the system could be so different, and I wanted to fight to fix it, and if I knew more, I could do more,” she reasoned. The reality star also revealed that she’s had a long interest in the subject thanks to her late father, Robert Kardashian. Robert was a businessman and attorney, who became a household name while helping defend friend O.J. Simpson in his infamous 1994 murder trial. “On the weekend they used our home as an office, with Johnnie Cochran and Bob Shapiro,” the middle Kardashian child recalls. “My dad had a library, and when you pushed on this wall there was this whole hidden closet room, with all of his O.J. evidence books. “On weekends I would always snoop and look through. I was really nosy about the forensics.” Ok, well hopefully Kim can at least learn in law school that evidence is not to be tampered with. Luckily for Kim, considering she never finished college, California offers another path to passing the bar by “reading the law” or apprenticing with a practicing lawyer or judge. And according to Vogue , sometime this summer she will be taking what is known as the “baby bar” administered by the state; if she passes, she will be given the okay to continue for three more years of study. “The reading is what really gets me,” she admits. “It’s so time-consuming. The concepts I grasp in two seconds.” And when asked about the negative feedback she will inevitably face? “I don’t pay attention to that anymore,” she says. “I love to be put in a situation where I can have a conversation with someone who might not be inclined to think much of me because I can guarantee they will have a different opinion and understand what’s important to me after they’ve met me.” She also has full support from her popular family members! Kourtney Kardashian, 39, tells Vogue she thinks her sister is definitely lawyerly. “She seems to have all the answers or something like she just kind of knows,” Kourt says. Momager Kris Jenner is on the same page as us, admitting that she “did not see this one coming.” “What didn’t surprise me was the way she embraced Miss Alice and how she was so hopeful for that outcome,” she adds. “When you find something that you’re just that passionate about, it’s not difficult; you don’t have to think about it — it just happens.” I guess we will see how difficult it proves to be this summer. While we certainly do not object to Kim furthering her education and would love to see her use her fame for something more charitable, we will be shocked if law school pans out for this socialite. This is racist at it’s core, but if you’re someone who loves guacamole and avocado toast more than you care about what happens to human beings, perhaps this will strike fear into your soulless existence. According to DailyMail , almost 50% of vegetables and 40% of fruits that are imported into America are grown in Mexico. Let Steve Barnard, president and chief executive of Mission Produce, tell it, we would only have enough avocado for three weeks worth of green cool, creamy dip. A complete shutdown would ultimately cost the U.S. $137 billion in trade imports. ‘When a border is closed or barriers to trade are put in place, I absolutely expect there would be an impact on consumers,’ said Monica Ganley, principal at Quarterra, a consultancy specializing in Latin American agricultural issues and trade. ‘We’re absolutely going to see higher prices. This is a very real and very relevant concern for American consumers.’ Mexico also is said to be a major importer of fossil fuels that are created here in America. Bottom line, a closed border will hurt the U.S., but orangey doesn’t care as long as 53% of dumba$$ white women and the uneducated Bubbas who date their cousins will continue to support him. SMH.
