Flavor Flav Owes $111K in Back Child Support, Faces Jail Time

Flavor Flav needs to cough up $111,186 in child support payments to the mother of three of his seven kids or face jail time, news sources say. “It was declared a willful violation,” an official said of his failure to pay child support … which can’t be good. He faces up to 180 days behind bars. The rapper didn’t show up for a hearing last week, so an Albany, N.Y. magistrate recommended his driver’s license and passport be revoked. While Flav, 53, is required to pony up $837.72 a week to baby-mama Angie Parker for child support … he clearly hasn’t done so in some time. This isn’t the first time the outspoken, likely insane rapper has slipped up on child support payments. Parker sued Flav in 2010 for $63,458. Before his second career as a ridiculous VH1 reality show star, Flav was a member of Public Enemy. He served 90 days in jail in 1993 for shooting at his neighbor. The Flavor of Love star and House of Flavor restaurant owner is due back in court June 19 to answer the charges … we’ll see if he shows. [Photo: WENN.com]

Donald Driver Wins ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Mirror-Ball Trophy

‘He’s the best celebrity dance partner anyone could ask for,’ his pro dance partner Peta Murgatroyd said. By Kelley L. Carter Peta Murgatroyd and Donald Driver on “Dancing With the Stars” Photo: ABC Upon hearing his name called as the season 14 winner of ABC’s hit show “Dancing With the Stars,” Donald Driver stopped, dropped and rolled. “Amazing! This is awesome!” he said, his fist punching the sky in excitement. It was a sweet moment, considering that Driver, an NFL star, revealed that he’s been a longtime fan of the show and had watched it since its inaugural season. Driver ran around the ballroom dance floor and screamed his excitement, while rolling around on the floor after he found out he outscored classical singer Katherine Jenkins (Monday night’s top scorer) and her partner Mark Ballas. On Monday night, Driver and his partner, Peta Murgatroyd, danced the Argentine tango for their first dance, and head judge Len Goodman said he loved Driver’s intensity. The other judges thought his storytelling through dance was moving. The three judges gave him one point shy of a perfect score for that round. For the freestyle round, the Green Bay Packers wide receiver two-stepped to country music, which could have been a risk on the ballroom floor. The judges loved it, and Carrie Ann Inaba actually jumped up on the table and proclaimed, “This is my favorite dance of the season!” For that, Driver earned a perfect score. As for Tuesday night’s finale, he danced one last shirtless dance, for which the judges gave him another perfect trio of 10s. Len Goodman named him the best dancing footballer they’ve ever had on the show. “He’s the best celebrity dance partner anyone could ask for,” Murgatroyd said before her partner was crowned the winner. “I was lucky.”

Dancing With the Stars Recap: A Fantastic Finals

Heading into Monday’s performance finale on Season 14 of Dancing With the Stars, it was anybody’s game . Heading into the final results show, it still is! The most evenly-matched final three in history lived up to that billing, finishing within a single point of each other after six great routines. Let’s revisit them all, shall we? William Levy & Cheryl Burke – Cha Cha Cha (DWTS Week 10) Head judge Len Goodman said that William Levy’s show-opening cha-cha was as good as any he has seen in 14 seasons. He got a 30 for it. Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas – Paso Doble (DWTS Week 10) There was no less love for Katherine Jenkins’ paso doble, which Len said was “full of tasty tidbits to tickle your taste buds.” Crickets . 30. Donald Driver & Peta Murgatroyd – Argentine Tango (DWTS Week 10) Donald Driver fell short – by a single point – in merely scraping together 10s from Bruno and Carrie Ann Inaba for his Argentine tango. William Levy & Cheryl Burke – Freestyle (DWTS Week 10) In the lift-happy freestyle round, William and Cheryl Burke’s tango / samba / salsa whatever earned them a 29 for a total of 59 Monday. Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas – Freestyle (DWTS Week 10) Mark Ballas hit the jackpot with the swing routine he crafted for Katherine, sweeping her (and the judges) off their feet for another 30. Donald Driver & Peta Murgatroyd – Freestyle (DWTS Week 10) Peta Murgatroyd literally bled for her freestyle. She got knocked in the face by her beefy partner during rehearsal, but rallied for a 29. The scores after Monday’s performance finale, which will account for half the overall scores this evening along with America’s votes: Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas (30, 30): 60 William Levy & Cheryl Burke (30, 29): 59 Donald Driver & Peta Murgatroyd (29, 30): 59 Yup. Basically, it’s all your votes to decide this one. Who should win Dancing With the Stars?

Maria Menounos Eliminated From ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Despite Perfect Score

Remaining three celebrities — William Levy, Katherine Jenkins and Donald Driver — will continue competing for mirror ball trophy next week. By Kelley L. Carter Maria Menounos and Derek Hough on “Dancing With the Stars” Photo: ABC The truth is, anyone’s name could have been called to head home from ABC’s hit show “Dancing With the Stars” on Tuesday night and it would have been a shock. On Monday night, most of the contestants scored well with the judges. Although opera singer Katherine Jenkins has been a top performer on the show all season, she made a few missteps in one of her Monday night performances — and subsequently beat herself up about it. So folks may not have been too surprised to hear her name called as this week’s eliminated dancer. Instead, it was one of the night’s top scorers who got the boot. It ultimately came down to TV journalist Maria Menounos and her partner Derek Hough and NFL star Donald Driver and his partner Peta Murgatroyd. Menounos was the one to go, despite having a near-perfect score on Monday night. The judges salivated over the Argentine tango she performed as her first dance, rewarding her with perfect 10s all around. For her second performance, she took on the jive, and the judges actually named her the winner of the night — and possibly the competition itself. When her name was called Tuesday night, Menounos said, “I learned so many things — how strong I was, to persevere … I want to thank everyone here. I want to thank Derek and my family and everyone who voted for us.” Next week, the remaining three celebrities — Latin heartthrob William Levy and his partner Cheryl Burke, Driver and Murgatroyd, and Jenkins and Mark Ballas will compete for the mirror ball trophy.

Dancing With the Stars Results: Who Survived the Double Elimination?

Dancing With the Stars bid farewell to two of its top six competitors on last night’s results show. Did the four favorites survive, or were there surprises? It was really anyone’s game. A week after scoring a perfect 30, Maria Menounos and Derek Hough found themselves in second-to-last place Monday. Roshon Fegan, who narrowly avoided elimination, climbed to second, while only six points separated William Levy in first from Melissa Gilbert in last. So which four celebrities are moving on to the semifinals? Roshon and Chelsie Hightower were the first couple to be eliminated. Even after having one of their better weeks, it wasn’t enough for the young pair. “I’m definitely very happy that I can add ballroom dancing to my super-duper dance moves,” Roshon told co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet in response. “I’m so proud of you,” his partner Chelsie said. “He was such a joy to work with and came to work everyday willing to work and with such a great attitude.” “I’m happy to end it on a high note and I’m happy I had you as my partner.” The second couple eliminated on Tuesday were … Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. “I can’t even describe what a learning and growing experience it’s been. It’s been a real blessing and a joy,” said the actress, on her 48th birthday. “I’m amazed that I even made it this far, and the things that I was able to do and the things that were able to overcome to have been here on this day, does make it a really incredible birthday,” Gilbert added. “Maks has been amazing, an incredible teacher, an incredible friend.” And so it goes. Levy, Menounos, Katherine Jenkins and Donald Driver are on to the final four, where it will again be anyone’s game next week! What do you think? Did America get the DWTS results right?
