Bar Refaeli and Shaun White: Random Couple Alert!

Bar Refaeli. Shaun White. Not two people we would’ve predicted would get together, but who are we to judge, right? The snowboarding champ was spotted with Maxim’s newly crowned “hottest woman in the world” at NYC lounge Sway “ dancing, hugging and kissing ” Monday. Score one for the Flying Tomato. The New York Post writes that “the Israeli ex of Leonardo DiCaprio and the half-pipe hero promptly hit the dance floor, going for the gold in the canoodle-a-thon.” Mark that down as one of the best celebrity gossip lines of the year. “They were all over each other,” a spy said. “They were dancing, hugging, kissing … you name it.” Then “around 3 a.m.,” White gallantly walked her out. No word if Sean White has seen Bar Refaeli nude in person yet, but millions of Maxim readers have. Okay, probably more like a few thousand at this point. [Photo: WENN.com]

Kim Kardashian, Kris Humphries Gear Up For Divorce Battle

While she’s long since moved on, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are still technically married, and their divorce proceedings are likely to be contentious. The former couple is scheduled to have their depositions taken in their ongoing divorce proceedings at the end of June, with plenty of unresolved matters. How can this be, considering that they did have a prenup and have now been apart much longer than they were even married? Depends who you ask. Kim’s camp insists Kris is dragging this out to keep his name in the news (unlikely) and hoping to secure the best possible settlement (slightly less unlikely). Humphries’ lawyer plans on asking Kim about her decision to keep her engagement ring , the $325,000 Ferrari wedding gift they got, and much more. Kardashian filed for divorce after only 72 days of marriage, which Kris says was based on fraud and deceit … never a bad assumption with Kim really. Whatever his motivation, the two are approaching this quite differently. “Kim is just livid that she has to be deposed. She’s tried to get out of it, but there is no way she can,” a source says. “Kris is ready for his deposition and wants the truth to come out about what really happened when they were dating and after the wedding.” At least Kim can distract herself by moving in with Kanye West . Kim’s deposition will take place at her lawyer Laura Wasser’s office at the end of June and Kris’ attorney Lee Hutton will do the majority of the questioning. Kris’ deposition will take place in Minnesota, where he resides, later this month as well. Wasser will fly in for that, though Kim almost certainly will not. [Photos: WENN.com]

Chris Hayes, MSNBC Commentator, Questions "Hero" Designation for Military Members

Chris Hayes, a political commentator on MSNBC, has created quite a stir – on Memorial Day of all days – for remarks he made yesterday in regard to the designation of military personnel as “heroes.” The journalist said he feels “uncomfortable” throwing that word about because it is “so rhetorically proximate to justifications for more war.” In other words: How can we refer to someone as heroic if we disagree with the cause for which he or she died? It certainly seems like an odd way to make a point about war. Surely we can differentiate between policy and the troops carrying out that policy in the name of a country they love, can’t we? Watch the clip and form your own opinion. Chris Hayes Asks: Are Military Men Heroes? Should Chris Hayes apologize for these comments?

Christine Marinoni and Cynthia Nixon: Married!

Former Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon is now a married woman. The actress exchanged vows over the weekend with Christine Marinoni, the woman to whom she got engaged three years ago during a rally to support same-sex marriage in New York. A bill allowing for just that was passed in the summer of 2011. Confirms Nixon’s rep to People : “On May 27, 2012, Cynthia Nixon and her girlfriend, Christine Marinoni, were legally married in the state of New York. Nixon wore a custom dress by Carolina Herrera.” Nixon – who has two children from a previous relationship and one with Marinoni, an education activist – created a stir earlier this year when she said homosexuality is a choice . She then went on to amend the statement and explain she was only referring to her own experience. [Photo: WENN.com]

Flavor Flav Owes $111K in Back Child Support, Faces Jail Time

Flavor Flav needs to cough up $111,186 in child support payments to the mother of three of his seven kids or face jail time, news sources say. “It was declared a willful violation,” an official said of his failure to pay child support … which can’t be good. He faces up to 180 days behind bars. The rapper didn’t show up for a hearing last week, so an Albany, N.Y. magistrate recommended his driver’s license and passport be revoked. While Flav, 53, is required to pony up $837.72 a week to baby-mama Angie Parker for child support … he clearly hasn’t done so in some time. This isn’t the first time the outspoken, likely insane rapper has slipped up on child support payments. Parker sued Flav in 2010 for $63,458. Before his second career as a ridiculous VH1 reality show star, Flav was a member of Public Enemy. He served 90 days in jail in 1993 for shooting at his neighbor. The Flavor of Love star and House of Flavor restaurant owner is due back in court June 19 to answer the charges … we’ll see if he shows. [Photo: WENN.com]
