Married Doctor Dies After Drug-Filled Night In NYC A well-respected NJ dermatologist was found half-naked and unconscious in the foyer of a New York apartment building during the wee hours of Sunday morning. Initially, authorities were confused as to how and why the married Mother of three ended up in such a situation…until a sordid tale of an apparent extramarital affair with a television producer and wild, recreational drug use slowly began to come to light. Via NY Post : A supposed “girls night out” for a married doctor turned into a deadly drug binge with an Emmy-nominated HBO producer in his dealer’s Chelsea apartment, police sources told The Post on Monday. Pretty dermatologist Kiersten Rickenbach Cerveny, 38, a mother of three, is believed to have suffered a fatal cocaine overdose while partying with Marc Henry Johnson in the wee hours Sunday morning, sources said. Surveillance video shows Johnson, who is also married, carrying Cerveny down the stairs inside 223 W. 16th St. with the help of ex-con James Holder, sources said. The video also shows the men dropping or dumping the former beauty-pageant princess in the vestibule at around 8:30 a.m., then going their separate ways outside. Johnson — who is currently producing “The Deuce,” a pilot for an HBO series about the porn industry starring James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal — called 911, and paramedics tried in vain to revive Cerveny, the sources said. “She came out topless,” a building resident said. “Her face was white and her lips were blue. They were doing chest compressions.” And it seems that no one had any idea that Cerveny got down this way at all… Angelo Pappas, 46, a New York City teacher, said he often saw Cerveny and her husband jogging with their kids in a stroller at 6 a.m. “You’re talking about a person who looks very healthy, working out. That type,” he said. A friend and fellow club member, Penny Morash, called Kiersten Cerveny “a great mom.” “Everybody thinks it’s horrible that this is what she’s going to be known for,” Morash said. Wells Fargo Does An About Face After BOSSIP Highlighted Black Stuntmen’s Fight For Bank To Honor Black Stagecoach Driver In Commcercial The Black Stuntmen’s Association scored a win in their fight against Wells Fargo to honor a freedom-fighting black stagecoach driver who worked for the bank during the California Gold Rush. Wells Fargo bank offered to fork over a $10,000 grant to the Black Stuntmen’s Association the day after BOSSIP asked its reps about the group’s battle with the bank to commemorate their one-time employee, William Robison, with a commercial featuring a black stagecoach driver. The bank also agreed to include them in an upcoming publicity campaign. “We recognize the importance of your legacy to the African-American community,” Wells Fargo rep Lisa Frison told the stuntmen in an email, “and would be pleased to help bring broader visibility and awareness to your organization in this way.” But association president Willie Harris said the $10,000 amounted to “hush money,” and said the bank hadn’t been in touch for weeks until BOSSIP began asking questions. “I think they think if they offered us the $10,000 we would go away,” Harris told BOSSIP. “We ain’t for sale.” “Why did they wait till you called?” he asked. “We do have some pride.” The association – created in the 1960s to tackle the entrenched racism in the Hollywood movie stunt industry – has been in a two year fight with Wells Fargo over Robison, who drove a six-horse stagecoach from Stockton, Ca. to the Nevada gold mines for 40 years until he retired in 1895. Robison was part of a gun-toting gang who freed a group of African-Americans in San Joaquin County who were being illegally sold into slavery. Robison also worked to desegregate California’s school system, and as a delegate in the state Convention of Colored Citizens, he distributed petitions demanding blacks be allowed to testify in court. We’ve reached out to Wells Fargo for comment. Harris said he’s asked Wells Fargo for a face-to-face meeting, and he doesn’t know if the group would accept the money. “We’re not stupid and we do have respect for ourselves,” Harris told BOSSIP. “We’re going to stand on our feet.”

Mendeecees Copped To Major Drug Slinging Last Spring; Faces Up To 40 Years Love & Hip Hop New York’s Mendeecees Harris has been given a little bit more time to enjoy life on the outside. The admitted drug kingpin and father of two has had his sentencing hearing for drug trafficking delayed until the Fall, BOSSIP can reveal. Harris, who earlier this year pled guilty to felony conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute, was supposed to be sentenced Aug. 31 in New York State Federal Court, but the sentencing hearing was pushed back until Oct. 2. “It was the judge’s schedule,” Harris’ lawyer, Donald Thompson, told BOSSIP. “We didn’t have any control over it.” The government contended that Harris helped operate a large drug dealing operation that funneled huge quantities of cocaine and heroin from New York City to upstate New York. Under his plea deal, Harris could get anywhere from five to 40 years in prison, as well as a $5 million fine. Thompson said it wasn’t yet clear how much time Harris was going to do. “As we get closer, we’ll have a better idea,” he said. “We don’t have anything firmed up. In the meantime, Harris is keeping busy with work and family, Thompson said. “He seems to be doing well,” he said. “They’re filming the new season, he’s doing a lot of public appearances.”

Carrier Pigeon Caught Trying To Smuggle Drugs Into Prison Prison guards in Costa Rica caught a pigeon with a bag of drugs attached to its chest in a bizarre attempt to smuggle drugs to inmates. Via Boston News Times : Officers at La Reforma prison captured it with 14g of cocaine and 14g of cannabis stuffed into a black pouch which camouflaged against its dark feathers. They have previously caught other animals such as cats and iguanas trying to transport drugs into the prison in San Rafael de Alajuela, local websites have reported. The guards spotted the bird on Tuesday afternoon as it flew towards an open area of the medium security La Reforma prison, Teletica reported. Prison director Paul Bertozzi said: ‘They observed the bulge on the animal so they captured it and confirmed that it carried a bag with zipper – and the drugs were inside… It seems the dove was trained for it.’ The pigeon was examined by experts at the ZooAve Animal Rescue Centre who said the bag it was carrying caused some damage to its digestive system. Reports from Costa Rica suggest it will be kept in quarantine for at least 40 days because they believe it will return to where it came from if they release it. The head of the centre was ‘stunned’ by the incident and said it would be well looked after at the centre. The prison is now investigating who was responsible for the drug-smuggling attempt. Paul Bertozzi added: ‘We have a warning that this method can be used again as it is not the first time in the history of La Reforma that a pigeon was detected with drugs.’ Move that dope by any means necessary! According to AP reports : Bill Cosby testified in 2005 that he got Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to young women he wanted to have sex with, and he admitted giving the sedative to at least one woman and “other people,” according to documents obtained Monday by The Associated Press. The AP had gone to court to compel the release of the documents; Cosby’s lawyers had objected on the grounds that it would embarrass their client. The 77-year-old comedian was testifying under oath in a lawsuit filed by a former Temple University employee. He testified he gave her three half-pills of Benadryl. Cosby settled that sexual-abuse lawsuit for undisclosed terms in 2006. His lawyers in the Philadelphia case did not immediately return phone calls Monday. Cosby has been accused by more than two dozen women of sexual misconduct, including allegations by many that he drugged and raped them in incidents dating back more than four decades. Cosby, 77, has never been criminally charged, and most of the accusations are barred by statutes of limitations. Cosby resigned in December from the board of trustees at Temple, where he was the popular face of the Philadelphia school in advertisements, fundraising campaigns and commencement speeches.
