Kanye West Responds To MTV Hottest MC List Although G.O.O.D music guru Kanye West has been on a roll with this rambling and ranting as of late, he actually made a few notable points during a brief chat with HOT 97′s DJ Enuff in response to the release of MTV’s annual “Hottest MCs” list, which ranked ‘Ye at number 7 this year. It sounded like things were all good and normal during the interview until Yeezy put MTV Veejay Sway on blizzy blast…..and then hung up in DJ Enuff’s face in true ‘Ye fashion. Check out a few excerpts from the conversation below: DJ Enuff: I saw you on the list. You came in at #7 on the MTV list. That’s wassup. Kanye: That was cool and everything. More than anything, I’m happy for Sean, but I feel like he should be on top 5. The way he’s just bodying records, like the way he started off that “Mercy….” DJ Enuff: So you think you and Sean should be top 5 definitely? Maybe top 3? I know you, ‘Ye. To me, you’re gonna say you’re the number one rapper in the world. So, number 7, does this bother you? Kanye: Yeah, number 7 bothers me. I think that [Lil] Wayne is the number one rapper in the world. DJ Enuff: Wait, you think Wayne is the number one rapper in the world? Kanye: Yeah, I just think he’s like, you know, him and Jay and Em and certain people are just the greatest rappers of all time. To me, I feel that in order for them to put me as number 7, they had to bring up things that they didn’t like. Like, they was like they didn’t like the “Cruel Summer” album…It’s definitely not based on a body of work. They don’t like Givenchy Kanye, they don’t like Kanye in a kilt, they don’t like Kanye in a relationship… DJ Enuff: So you think that is what puts you at number seven as opposed to number five, four, three, two, one? Kanye: I don’t think it’s them really going bar for bar. I said, “Lucky I ain’t had Jay drop him from the team.” Ain’t no bar, ain’t no bar in the entire past 12 months that’s hotter than that bar. That’s one bar! I come from this battle rap, that’s how I grew up in Chicago. I couldn’t believe it. I gave Sway his first TV. He came over to my crib in Newark, NJ. I was living in Newark doing beats for Jay and Beans and all them and I was getting a new TV and I gave Sway his first TV. And really I didn’t really wanna even like call to talk about the number seven list, I just wanna tell everybody that I gave Sway his first TV. And he need to remember that. On 23rd February 2013 I met Justin for the second time and it was absolutely perfect. I’m still in shock. I got to the venue for Justin’s book signing at around 4 p.m., and my two friends and I chased Justin’s car, but we couldn’t see him going in because there were too many people. Then we entered the building and went straight to the bathroom to write a birthday card for Justin. We finally joined the queue and we were probably the fifth people from the back. Whilst we queued, they were playing ‘Believe’ and the three of us were the only ones who were screaming, jumping, singing along and dancing the entire time. When we got close to the door of the room where Justin was, Kenny came out and I yelled, “YOU’RE SO MEECHY.” We entered the room. and I felt sick. I felt as if I was about to pass out. I couldn’t breathe. My absolute everything was in there and I was seconds away from meeting him. I didn’t see Justin immediately because I’m short but then I saw the flawless creature. He was so gorgeous, photos do not do him justice. I started sobbing and I yelled, “JUSTIN YOU’RE SO FLAWLESS.” The line moved and soon my best friend and I were right in front of him. My best friend said to him, “Justin you’re the reason why we’re best friends,” and he smiled at her and said, “Aww thank you so much.” Then he turned to me and goes, “Aww really?” I was DYING BECAUSE JUSTIN FREAKING BIEBER JUST SPOKE TO ME. I managed to get out the words, “Yes! Can I please have a hug?” and he said, “I’m sorry, but I’m not allowed” he said, and looked kind of sad, but then he reached out and fist bumped me, and winked! His hand was so freaking soft and his wink was identical to the one he did on his SNL Valentine’s skit. As I walked out I yelled, “I love you so much, see you in 9 days!” I collapsed on the floor sobbing. We all grabbed each other and cried because it was so surreal. It was the best experience of my entire life and my brain still hasn’t processed that it happened. I don’t think it’ll ever sink in. The best part of it was that Justin seemed GENUINELY happy today. No fake smiles. All real. He’s the sweetest person ever. Every fan was greeted with a smile. In an interview with 60 Minutes Australia that will air Sunday night, the singer is asked about previous claims that he spent $20 million on cocaine in the 1970s. That’s not exactly accurate, the ex- American Idol judge admits. “Realistically, 5 or 6 [million],” says Tyler, adding: “You also could say I snorted half of Peru, but it doesn’t matter.” The Aerosmith frontman has been sober for 20 years, though he did suffer a relapse with prescription pills in the late 2000. My name is Jodi and this is my MBE. Never in a million years did I expect to ever write my own Bieber experience. I have met Justin once before when he was doing a book signing in London, England but didn’t had the opportunity to get my own picture with him. When I found out that you could buy meet and greets at the Believe Tour, I just knew I had to get one. It all started when Justin announced his UK tour dates. I got up super early to try and get M&G’s in London but they sold out like lightening. I ended up buying 6th row tickets for London instead which were still beyond amazing! I didn’t give up just yet. I found out Justin was going on tour in Ireland, so I begged my mum to let us go on a short holiday to Ireland if I was lucky enough to get tickets. Being the silly mother she is, expecting my to NOT get them, she agreed and soon enough we were flying from London to Dublin! I had the meet and greets!! The atmosphere was so great in Ireland, even the staff at my hotel were excited for me to meet Justin. The cabin crew who were on Justin’s plane stayed at my same hotel! Anyway, the day of the show, I arrived at the arena and waited in the long queue outside in the cold ready to be let in to the meet and greet. I collected my VIP package, 2 wristbands and waited. There was an amazing raffle going on that include prizes such as Justin’s shoe, vest tops that he had worn the night before, signed programs and posters. Sadly, I didn’t have the winning ticket, but some of my new friends I made in line did. One of the girls kindly let me take a photo with Justin’s shoe! About 2-3 hours later, Justin had still not arrived in time for the meet and greet so some crew members came out and decided to meet us beliebers. I was so lucky to be able to speak to Dan and get a photo with him, Nick Demoura and a couple of other dancers! Then Justin had finally arrived and it was time for the meet and greet to start. As I got closer to the curtain my heart was beating extremely fast and I could feel the tears producing in my eyes. I calmed myself down and walked in through the curtain! Justin was standing there talking to the photographer saying, “She was small but thick…but I like them petite.” I had no idea what he was talking about so I just gazed up and looked at his beautiful, flawless face! We took a picture and before I knew it I was being told to leave, but I promised myself I would speak to him. I asked for a hug and he said, “Of course!” At this point security were pulling me out but Justin grabbed my waste and squeezed me a little! This was such an amazing feeling. Then as I was walking out, I heard my mum say thank you and then Justin said, “I like your braces!” I found this so adorable because most people feel horrid when they have braces, and for him to say that made me confident and realize that JUSTIN BIEBER WAS STARING AT MY MOUTH! Anyways, I left the meet and greet and quickly found my seat in the arena as Cody’s set had just started. My seat was amazing! It was the front row, centre in front of the end of the catwalk! There was a bar in front of me but I was allowed to lean over and touch Justin when he came on! Because of this, I got to touch Cody and Carly’s hand when they performed! Finally it was Justin’s time to come on the stage! He entered from the very top of the catwalk, right where I was and I had the most perfect view ever. Like I could see his sweat and his gorgeous melting brown eyes. Justin grabbed my hand in the opening song of ‘All Around The World’ and then during OLLG he rubbed my hand and sang me a line! I was in complete shock and was lucky enough to have this on video! I have never been so happy in my entire life. I also had a Canadian flag with me and kept waving it whenever Justin was close, which he saw and commented on the amazing posters and flag he had seen. Overall, February 18th 2013 was the best day of my entire life.
