The Voice Recap: James Irwin Returns, Wins Night Four of Blind Auditions

Night four of The Voice blind auditions proved that sometimes, the second time is the charm, while even a gifted talent doesn’t guarantee a spot on NBC. Who blew away Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton last night after failing to turn a single chair one season ago? Who else landed spots with the fab four of The Voice? Here’s a look at the singers who successfully gained entry into the next round last night … James Irwin – Losing My Religion (The Voice Blind Audition) James Irwin didn’t do much for the coaches last season. This time, with is performance of the R.E.M. classic “Losing My Religion,” it was a different story. Returning with newfound confidence and much more stage presence, Irwin had his pick of coaches, but went with the only one to point out weaknesses: Adam. Will Champlin – Not Over You (The Voice Blind Audition) Will Champlin, with a stirring performance of “Not Over You,” had all three male coaches pining for him. He went with Adam as well, a coup for the singer. Stephanie Anne Johnson – Black Horse and the Cherry Tree (The Voice Blind Audition) Stephanie Anne Johnson, with a performance of “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree,” landed on Team Christina. But Cee Lo is already looking to steal. Sam Cerniglia – It’s a Beautiful Day (The Voice Blind Audition) Sam Cerniglia sang “It’s a Beautiful Day” and the Michael Buble song was a hit with Blake, whose team he joined. Cee Lo also turned around for Sam. Olivia Henken – Two Black Cadillacs (The Voice Blind Audition) Olivia Henken had Cee Lo and Christina vying for her services with a strong spin on “Two Black Cadillacs,” and Aguilera eventually won her over. R. Anthony – Hall of Fame (The Voice Blind Audition) R. Anthony would love to be standing in the “Hall of Fame” himself one day, and took the first step last night, opting for Cee Lo over Christina Aguilera. Justin Chain – She’s Country (The Voice) Justin Chain only got one chair to turn around on “She’s Country,” but one is all it takes, as Blake clearly liked his take on the Jason Aldean song. Ashley DuBose – Diamonds (The Voice Blind Audition) Ashley DuBose turned all four chairs with “Diamonds,” channeling Rihanna in tremendous fashion and picking Levine despite near unanimous begging. Amber Nicole, Emily Randolph & Keaira LaShae – The Voice Blind Auditions Keaira LaShae also landed with Green, while Aguilera recruited Amber Nicole, and Shelton seized Emily Randolph to finish off night four of Season 5. That leaves Levine and Aguilera with 10 singers each, while Shelton and Green both have nine. Which contestants picked the right or wrong coaches? Khloe Kardashian on Marital Woes: "Trying My Best" to Persevere!

Khloe Kardashian is doing all she can to remain positive these days. That was the message the reality star delivered last night during a 35-minute chat with her Facebook followers. After one fan wrote that Khloe is an “inspiration” for how she carries herself these “all of these hard times,” Kardashian responded: “I’m trying my best! Kisses.” The challenging times, of course, refer to Lamar Odom and the downward spiral he has been on for months now. According to the latest accounts, Odom is freebasing pure cocaine and making massive drug purchases on a nearly weekly basis. He somehow still believes he can play in the NBA this season as well. Does he believe he can save his marriage? It’s unclear, but also unlikely. The couple didn’t spend its fourth wedding anniversary together and Khloe has been taking passive aggressive shots at her estranged husband online. She did so again last night, in fact, writing via Instagram. “I crave a love so deep the ocean would be jealous.” Does that sound like a woman in a happy relationship?

Lamar Odom has been accused over the last several days of some seriously unclean actions, most notably smoking crack cocaine . But that’s nothing compared to the dirty words of his estranged wife yesterday, who hacked into her half-sister’s Twitter account and sullied the minds of Kylie Jenner’s 4.6 million followers with such messages as: “My d-ck hurts” and “Someone lick my b-lls NOW!!!” and “My t-ts are so massive they get in the way on twitter.” Call us crazy, but hitting the gym with Kendall seems like a far healthier way for Khloe to cope with her ongoing marital strife. Khloe Kardashian Hacks Kylie Jenner’s Twitter Account Khloe even referenced new mother Kim Kardashian in another odd missive, writing at one point: “I love wearing Kims breast pump!! Yummy the smell of sour milk.” Kylie chimed in at one point and warned fans that she was not behind these postings, but Khloe refused to let her younger sibling have the final say. “I am not hacked I am just having major issues with my male and female self,” the final lewd Tweet of the day read. “A bitch with b-lls. Bitch with a d-ck. Best of both worlds.” For real, Lamar Odom . Please get help soon. Your wife is clearly losing it.

Khloe Kardashian to Lamar Odom: Get Help or Get Out!

Khloe Kardashian is laying down the law. Either Lamar Odom goes to rehab and actually sticks with it this time or he can pack his things and hit the road. He is not welcome back in their home until he gets clean. As has been well documented, Lamar Odom has a problem with drugs and has been unwilling to address it since his addiction spun out of control. Khloe Kardashian has kicked him out before, only to cave and take him back, but Lamar’s DUI arrest Friday morning was apparently the last straw. According to reports, Lamar didn’t even call Khloe OR his lawyers after the arrest, leaving them to find out when TMZ broke the story hours later. Suffice it to say, his estranged wife was far from thrilled with him. Khloe and Lamar did spend time together Saturday, but after four hours of talking about his addiction to crack and who knows what else, he was sent away. To go look for his own apartment?  Score some crack from the junkies downtown? Tool around with his “crack head” enabler/mistress Polina Polonsky ? No one knows, but the basketball star clearly isn’t taking a hint, leaving his wife at the end of her rope and with little choice but to do what she did. Sources say the couple is “still at an impasse” regarding his addiction, which seems ludicrous given how one-sided the debate should be at this point. Embroiled in cheating scandals and what looks like a serious substance abuse problem, Odom is effectively ruining his marriage, NBA career and life. What is Khloe to do at this point? She clearly wants to save Lamar in all those respects, but without effort or even admission on his part it will be a lost cause. Khloe Kardashian: Desperate to Save Lamar Odom

Forget her marriage. Khloe Kardashian is desperate to save Lamar Odom’s life. As we’ve documented in detail over the last couple days, Odom is reportedly in serious trouble: sources allege he is hooked on crack cocaine and disappeared for days toward the end of last week. But TMZ now says Khloe has tracked down her estranged husband and is doing all she can to get him back on the clean and sober track. Lamar Odom: Missing? On Drugs? Khloe and Lamar Divorce: Will it Happen? Last Wednesday, Kardashian attempted an intervention and kicked Odom out when he refused to get help. The couple is now essentially separated , but insiders say Khloe refuses to give up on Lamar. However, she will not consider a reconciliation unless he admits to his substance abuse issues and seeks assistance. So the relationship remains at a standstill. Khloe believes there’s hope for Odom and neither side has conferred with divorce lawyers. But the most important topic at the moment is Odom’s well being. Only once that is taken care of can these two even contemplate a healthy marriage again.

Man Tries To Have Wife Killed In Murder-For-Hire Plot According to Mail Online A former Bank of America executive from South Carolina has pleaded not guilty to charges in connection to a murder-for-hire plot targeting his estranged wife amid a contentious divorce. Christopher Latham, 50, is accused of orchestrating the killing of his spouse of 24 years and the mother of his children with the help of four accomplices, among them his live-in girlfriend. Last Wednesday, Mr Latham pleaded not guilty to federal charges of conspiracy to use interstate commerce facilities in the commission of murder-for-hire, use of interstate commerce facilities in the commission of murder-for-hire and possession of a firearm in the furtherance of a crime of violence. Following his arrest, Latham’s wife, Nancy, expressed relieve that the alleged plot on her life has been uncovered in time, but called the ordeal ‘heart-breaking.’ ‘It’s not by any means celebratory,’ a somber Mrs Latham told the station WCNC. ‘It’s not celebratory for my children.’ She added that it has been ‘heart-breaking’ both for her and for their two grown daughters, Madison and Emily. The alleged contract killing plot was uncovered back in April when Latham’s four alleged co-conspirators were arrested and charged with conspiring to kill Nancy Latham. Last Month, the estranged wife said in an affidavit that she suspected her husband of being part of the murder-for-hire plot. Chris Latham, formerly a high-powered executive with a $683,000 annual salary, has previously denied any involvement in the case. Nancy Latham said that when the alleged plot has been uncovered, she and her daughters went into hiding for two months – a time that was spent looking behind her shoulder and living in fear, she said ‘We’ve been married for 24 years,’ Nancy Latham said. ‘How do you reconcile the idea that this person hired someone to kill you?’ It’s a sad day when a man tries to have the mother of his children killed.

Jason Hoppy Accuses Bethenny Frankel of Water Throwing, Vegan Diet Pushing

The divorce battle between Jason Hoppy and Bethenny Frankel is starting to get uglier than Kris Jenner’s talk show reviews. As previously reported, Frankel is already accused of referring to her estranged husband as trash in front of their little daughter. Now, an insider who has apparently seen Hoppy’s court-submitted documents, tells In Touch Weekly that they allege more mean actions by Bethenny in March. “She threw water on him to wake him and yelled that she ‘has more money than God,’” claims this tabloid source, adding that ” Bryn was sleeping in the next room” at the time of the confrontation. The source goes on to say that Frankel is consumed by her career, to the point that Bryn locked herself in the set bathroom once under Bethenny’s watch and firemen had to be called in. Moreover, Hoppy says Bethenny tried to force vegan recipes on the child, even though a nutritionist later said that it wasn’t healthy such a young girl. “According to Jason, Bethenny has ‘issues’ with food and refused to allow Bryn to eat animal products,” the insider tells the publication. Frankel’s attorney has denied all allegations, but there’s no denying the following summation by this anonymous mole: “No one expected it to be amicable. But this has gotten downright nasty.”

Anna Benson Arrested for Breaking Into Ex’s Apartment with Gun, Bulletproof Vest

Anna Benson has been arrested for brandishing something a lot more dangerous than a 12-inch dildo . The ex-wife of former Major League Baseball pitcher Kris Benson was taken into custody this morning after she allegedly broke into her former husband’s home, armed with a metal baton and a handgun. According to TMZ, Kris told authorities that Anna went off on him because a judge had forced her to vacate the estranged couple’s marital residence. She arrived at his apartment and threatened to wallop Kris with an “expandable metal baton.” She then brandished a gun, demanded money from Kris and was reportedly donning a bulletproof vest throughout the attack. Anna was booked on charges of felony aggravated assault with a weapon; criminal trespass; and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. She and Kris divorced last year, which followed her saying she would sleep with all of the New York Mets if he ever cheated on her.

Lisa Vanderpump Demands Dismissal of Kyle and Kim Richards

You won’t believe this, but there’s drama on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills set. A new report claims that Lisa Vanderpump recently got into a major blowup with Kyle and Kim Richards while filming and has told producers she wants the siblings off the series. A source tells Radar Online that the claws “came out early when Lisa and [ Brandi Glanville ] confronted Kyle and hubby Mauricio Umansky and made catty comments about their marriage.” The diss “came out of nowhere,” according to the mole, leaving Kyle “stunned.” “Lisa has made it known she wants Kyle and Kim off of the show,” alleges this Real Housewives insider . “She wanted to be the last original housewife on the show.” And such a move isn’t new for Vanderpump. “Lisa did the same thing to Adrienne Maloof last season,” Radar adds. “She gets Brandi to do all of her dirty work. Lisa is a master manipulator, and now that she is no longer BFF’s with Kyle, she has no use for her and wants her gone.” Or she’s just following the Bravo script. Either one.
