Fox Business’ Lou Dobbs Blasts The Lorax for Pushing Left Wing Agenda and Creating ‘Occu-Toddlers’

With Universal’s colorful animated tale The Lorax , “the President’s liberal friends in Hollywood [are] targeting a younger demographic using animated movies to sell their agenda to children,” claimed an outraged Lou Dobbs this week on Fox Business Network. Animated movies ! A liberal agenda! HOW DARE THEY. What’s to blame for allowing this “insidious nonsense” into the vulnerable minds of our nation’s youth? Bad parenting, of course. As conservative radio host Matt Patrick bellowed from the commentator pit, “We are creating Occu-toddlers !” In the classic Seuss story — adapted into a 3-D animated adventure that hits screens next week — a magical creature called The Lorax attempts to intervene as an industrialist, driven by greed, ravages an entire ecosystem. This would seem to make The Lorax even more “dangerous” than previous Fox News target The Muppets , which took as its villain a much broader and clearly unlikeable capitalist; The Lorax is designed to show viewers how much they potentially have in common with the unwitting forest-killer The Once-ler, which is why it’s so powerful to begin with. My favorite part of this insanity is when Patrick advocates intentional littering in movie theaters as a means of protest against the Obama-led agenda espoused by The Lorax (and the Studio Ghibli animated pic The Secret World of Arriety , which could lead youngsters down the slippery slope of sharing things ). Throwing popcorn buckets on the ground would fly in the face of everything Dr. Seuss’s anti-deforestation, pro-environment tale stands for, but it would also make you look ridiculous in front of your own children. I think the Lorax’s face above says it all. Bring on the Occu-toddlers! The Lorax hits theaters on March 2. [ Media Matters via The Film Stage ]

Jay-Z, Kanye West Take The Throne Overseas

The Throne will kick off a 12-show European tour beginning May 20 in London. By Rob Markman Kanye West & Jay-Z Photo: Ethan Miller/Getty Images Jay-Z and Kanye West are about to get the people going again — this time overseas . International Hov and Martin Louis the King Jr. are taking their fan-favorite and critically acclaimed tour to Europe, where they recorded significant portions of their groundbreaking Watch the Throne LP. The 12-show run kicks off May 20 at the O2 Arena in London and runs through Switzerland, Norway, Germany and Belgium, ending on June 13. As far as when Jay and ‘Ye will be bringing their ubiquitous hit “N—as in Paris” to its point of inspiration, the duo will be holding down two shows on June 1 and June 2 at Paris Bercy. Jay and Kanye kicked off their WTT tour in October in Atlanta at the Phillips Arena. Noted for its unique set design with two rising pillars, the North American run of the tour found Hov and Yeezy bouncing off of each other perfectly, performing songs from both the Throne album and their individual catalogs. It was a gaudy display of hits that usually ended with the infectious “N—as in Paris” being performed multiple times — a record-breaking 11 times during their Vancouver stop. Prince William & Kate Middleton as Ken & Barbie: First Look!

Mattel’s collector’s edition Duke and Duchess of Cambridge versions of Barbie and Ken have been released, and are quite regal – and realistic for miniature dolls! Case in point: Barbie Kate Middleton isn’t as voluptuous as the blonde original, while William/Ken isn’t nearly as much of a fake-tanned metrosexual douche. The toy company is releasing the special Prince William and Kate Middleton figurines in time to mark the real-life royal couple’s one-year anniversary April 29. Here they are, outfitted in their royal wedding attire: William’s red military jacket with a blue sash is a surprisingly accurate replica, as are Kate’s Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown, tiara and engagement ring. Kate Middleton has been a doll before, if you remember – last year, the Franklin Mint made an engagement edition – and in a different sense, she’s a doll every day. Sadly for those stateside, when the royal Barbie-and-Ken dolls go on sale for $155 from Amazon.com U.K. come April 7, they will not be offered in North America. Shoppers throughout Europe, on the other hand, can buy all they want and charge absurd sums on eBay. International online commerce at its finest, people.

Channing Tatum, Rachel McAdams ‘Vow’ To Be Romantic

‘I sort of learned how to do that through movies and through TV, through stories,’ Tatum tells MTV News of his love lessons. By Kara Warner Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams in “The Vow” Photo: Sony Pictures If you’re a fan of romance and pretty people falling in love on the big screen, then “The Vow” is the movie for you. In the film, out Friday, a couple (played by Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams) survive a serious car accident, but the wife suffers severe memory loss and can’t even remember meeting her husband. Tatum’s character goes to great lengths to try and get her to fall in love with him again. “The Vow” is not a movie for everyone, of course, but when MTV News caught up with Tatum and McAdams , they had no problem gushing about their experiences falling in love onscreen. We asked them to explain to the more cynical-seeming younger generation out there why the film has universal appeal and how they learned to be romantic in the first place. “I sort of learned how to do that through movies and through TV, through stories,” Tatum said. “Stories are such teachers and lesson-learning tools. Maybe we’re not making good enough love stories and they’re just losing touch,” he added with a laugh. McAdams spoke to certain times in a person’s life that are more ripe for romance than others, that when we’re younger and just starting to experience romantic relationships, there doesn’t have to be as much emphasis on lifelong commitment and the seriousness involved. “I think there’s a period of life which is really not meant for that, where you’re supposed to be just sort of hanging out and being friends and not putting that kind of forever pressure on things,” she said. “It’s getting later and later for kids growing up,” Tatum said regarding the average ages when people start thinking and talking about taking their relationships to the next level. Tatum married actress Jenna Dewan when he was 29. “It’s just getting pushed back and back and back, the idea of getting married, which is good. In Europe they don’t get married until way late.” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Vow.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com .

‘Devil Inside’ Writer And Director Talk Success, Controversy

‘More than anything, we’re just excited that people are talking about the movie,’ writer Matthew Peterman tells MTV News. By Kevin P. Sullivan Bonnie Morgan in “The Devil Inside” Photo: Paramount Director William Brent Bell and writer Matthew Peterman defied all expectations when their new film, “The Devil Inside,” broke January box-office records . The horror movie grossed $35 million domestically in its opening weekend for Paramount, whose parent company, Viacom, owns MTV. Since the film’s surprise success and subsequent controversy , Bell and Peterman have found themselves at the center of a lot of talk around Hollywood. The writer/director duo took time to speak with MTV News about the film, the audience reaction and the controversial ending. MTV : What has your week been like since the release? Matthew Peterman : It’s really exciting. It’s just exciting for the movie business that it reinvigorated the marketplace a little bit, so it’s nice to be a part of that to some degree. MTV : What were your expectations going into the release? Bell : When we made the film, we made it completely independently and outside the studio system. It was me, Matt [and] our producing partner Morris Paulson, who independently financed the film. We went off to Europe and shot the movie, came back here with it and just worked on it for about a year. We brought on Steven Schneider and Lorenzo di Bonaventura. We worked on it with them for a while and then presented it to Paramount. We had been working on the film since its first inception, over five years at that point, but a year and a half of actually shooting and editing and all the good stuff. Peterman : I think our expectations were to make the best film we could. Hopefully, everything else would just take care of itself. We didn’t have an idea that it would do anything like this. There were no expectations for that. MTV : What do you think of the audience reaction? Peterman : I think, more than anything, we’re just excited that people are talking about the movie. We know it’s a polarized audience. That’s kind of the cool thing that movies do, because we took a lot of chances. We kind of see it in the way people are talking about it. Bell : We’re just excited people are talking about it. We’re excited there are a lot of people who do like the movie. It is very interesting and cool to have a polarizing movie out there that people can get into the heat of discussion about. That’s actually interesting. The more people are interested, the better it is for the film. Peterman : It’s a lot better, man, than just putting a movie out there that’s just forgotten. We have our fair share of fans. We have our fair share of naysayers. It’s cool to see people getting into healthy discussion about a film. MTV : How different was your experience this time compared to your first film, the video game-themed horror movie “Stay Alive”? Bell : It was 180 degrees different. It kind of started off the same, but it very quickly changed. The budget was 10 times this, depending on how you look at it. We did it kind of independently but not really, because it had such a big budget. We shot in America with a huge union crew. It was a much more standard Hollywood kind of experience and one I didn’t enjoy very much. Peterman : There were huge companies involved in that film. “The Devil Inside” was a completely independent project in every sense of the word. We enjoyed “Devil Inside” much better. Bell : It was released by a studio that really didn’t understand those types of films. You know the typical story where you destroy the movie in editing and you turn it from an R-rated film to a PG-13 film, and the result is something really unsatisfying. This time, we got to do what we wanted to do, pretty much. MTV : What are you going to take away from “The Devil Inside”? Bell : We really love this. You can call it “found footage.” You can call it “mock-doc” or “faux-doc” or whatever, depending on how you tell the story. We love this whole space, because you can work with really talented people and aren’t beholden to a great deal of money and take more chances. There are only so many stories you can tell, so to be able to tell a story in a unique way, this kind of documentary style allows us to do that. We certainly want to continue down that path. It gives audiences something different. Peterman : It allows you to do unconventional things. We did those on “The Devil Inside” for sure. MTV : Is horror a genre you want to stay in? Bell : I think it will be for a while. We’ve written a lot of projects that we’ve set up at different studios that kind of span different genres. We have a project now that’s more of a straightforward thriller. It’s in the pipeline. Certainly the next project and maybe the next two projects will stay in that space. We have a really exciting horror project that we hope to be shooting really soon. It’s a real departure from this one, but then again, there are also some similarities, the techniques we’re using. [ Spoiler ahead! ] MTV : The film’s ending frustrated many moviegoers. What were your thoughts on the URL at the end of the film? Bell : That was something different. When that idea came up, we thought that could fit. It’s a very interactive concept. Check out everything we’ve got on “The Devil Inside.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .

Lindsay Lohan Classes Up The Short Shorts

These are a few shots of Lindsay Lohan from back when she had that modeling job for about a week over in Europe this past summer. I think I had some behind the scenes pictures from this photoshoot. Anyhow, that was months ago, the airbrush artists have had plenty of time to work their magic and here’s the end result. I like it. The girl is hot, especially in the right freckle hiding light. I’m not sure I would have spent so much time showing off her legs, she’s got some fat chesticles that deserve more attention, but I’m no photographer. Maybe next time.

Girl Who Will Fuck Anyone on TV in Her Bikini of the Day

Here is further proof that if you are even the most obscure person on TV, I’m talking the guy in the Best Buy ads….or even the guy in the local furniture store ads….you’re gonna get pussy…because I assume girls figure you’ve got shit going for you if people are willing to let you on camera…especially since they aren’t on TV…and their last asshole boyfriend wasn’t on TV…but he’d sure be pissed off to find out that she’s fucking someone who is on TV….kinda thing that makes the world go round…and the nice thing about it is that she looks hot in a bikini….. If you’re wondering who the guy is, not that you are…he’s on the Kardashian show from hell I hope no one watches leaving them unwanted and in line for a good old fashioned family murder suicide.

Estelle Cruijff Tits in a Bikini of the Day

Here’s some great older bitch tits on some older bitch named Estelle Cruijff who is some dutch prostitute who avoided the red light district window display job….because she is the neice of some dutch footballer labeled the player of the century and in Europe that’s a title close to sainthood…..at least a title that gets his family looped into the Dutch world for football and in a position to groupie out, groupie on, and get stuffed by entire teams before settling down and getting married to some footballer hero named Ruud Gullit, who was the head coach for the LA Galaxy for a year….cuz Soccer is not just for gay euro trash anymore…..but he got fired and he now sits around on beaches with his baby momma and her great tits cuz he’s got enough money that….since he doesn’t really need to work and getting fired pretty much doesn’t mean much for being able to afford his wife’s botox injections and other luxuries…..if you know what I mean…and what’s important is that these titties are looking good in their bikini they call home….cuz sex with your wife may be hell….and farm sex may be more appealing than relationship sex most of the time…you know to switch things up…but at least she’s got features that help her husband through the suffering…and more importantly….she probably lets him fuck whatever he wants so long as he doesnt cut up her gold card….typical.
