According to Vice News , she as well as other women have announced that their running for office. Follow @TheRSMS Crooks spoke out and claimed that while working in Trump Tower in 2005 he kissed her without permission. She shared her story right before the election and is now running for state legislature in Ohio. Crooks said, “I think my voice should have been heard then, and I’ll still fight for it to be heard now. Americans are really upset with politics as usual, and I want to be a voice for them.” Crooks has support from the Ohio’s Democratic party and so many others. If she wins she will go against two-term Republican Rep. Bill Reineke . We wish Rachel Crooks the best of luck. Han Myung-Gu/Getty Images for Disney Facebook Group Planning To Sabotage Black Panther Ratings Shut Down A Facebook group started by an alt-right member planning to sabotage “Black Panther” with negative reviews has been shut down. Last week news spread that the maladroit mayo in the Down-With-Disneys-Treatment-of-Franchises-and-its-Fanboys group declared that they’d flood Rotten Tomatoes with low scores for the film. Over 3,000 people agreed to participate. Unfortunately for the desperate deplorables, Facebook’s shut them down because they “violated community standards.” Rotten Tomatoes has also spoken out and added that they don’t support the hate speech the rancid racists were spewing and if they try to downplay the film, they’ll be blocked. “We at Rotten Tomatoes are proud to have become a platform for passionate fans to debate and discuss entertainment, and we take that responsibility seriously,” wrote RT in a statement. “While we respect our fans’ diverse opinions, we do not condone hate speech. Our team of security, network and social experts continue to closely monitor our platforms, and any users who engage in such activities will be blocked from our site and their comments removed as quickly as possible.” The film’s director Ryan Coogler previously shook off criticism from the Facebook group and classily said he wants everyone to feel included no matter their politcal views. “For me, I’m looking forward to everybody seeing the film,” Coogler said to The Huffington Post . “I’m really looking forward to sharing the film with audiences regardless of what their political views are … that’s kind of where I [stand on that].” He’s a much kinder person than us. According to the Boston Globe , the police were called to Gronks crib upon reports that “multiple safes and guns” were stolen during a burglary. William D. Baker, Foxborough Police Chief, referred to the two losses as a “double whammy” lol: “I don’t know if you ever been the victim of a break-in, but when you are robbed and there is an intrustion into your personal space, it’s unpleasant whether you are Rob Gronkowski or Bill Baker,’’ the chief said. “For him it’s a double whammy coming off the loss.” No one was home at the time of the robbery and no one was hurt. Aw, poor Patriot.

The American Idol alum’s sibling, Bryanna Jackson-Frias, died Tuesday evening after a long battle with the blood disorder. She was only 16. “Bry went peacefully to Heaven,” Sparks’s mom, Jodi Jackson, wrote on a Facebook post. “I can’t help to think [that] she’s smiling just like this. Thank you all for your prayers.” Sparks, who was recently married, revealed her sister was in the ICU early Tuesday, “Please keep my little sister, Bryanna, in your prayers,” the American Idol alum captioned an Instagram Story. “She’s suffering from complications from sickle cell and is in the ICU fighting for her life.” The family asked that donations be sent to El Paso Children’s Hospital in her honor. Great news for fans of Counting On: it’s less than a month now until the new season premieres! We’ve got some bad news for fans of Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard though … Back in November, we learned that Derick had been fired from the show after repeatedly making offensive remarks about Jazz Jennings, the star of another show on TLC. Jazz is also a child, by the way. His comments had to do with the fact that Jazz is transgender, which he considers to be “a myth.” “Gender is not fluid,” he tweeted at one point. “It’s ordained by God.” When he got some backlash for that comment, he dug his hole a little deeper, tweeting “I want to be clear. I have nothing against him. I only have issue with the words and definitions being propagated here.” Except he referred to Jazz as a “him,” not a “her,” which is disrespectful and hurtful and there’s no way he didn’t know that. He made those comments in August, and in the following months, he continued to make ignorant statements about Jazz and the transgender community as a whole. Then, in November, he tweeted ” I pity Jazz, 4 those who take advantage of him in order 2 promote their agenda, including the parents who allow these kinds of decisions 2 be made by a child.” “It’s sad that ppl would use a juvenile this way. Again, nothing against him, just unfortunate what’s on tv these days.” He was right about one thing: it is unfortunate what’s on TV these days. Thankfully, TLC helped solve a bit of this problem by firing Derick soon after those statements. Since then, he’s claimed that he wasn’t actually fired , that he just decided that it would be best if he and his family began “heading in a different direction.” *Insert “Sure, Jan” gif here* We have our doubts about that, but it’s clear that whatever happened, Derick and Jill really won’t be appearing on Counting On anymore. The Duggar family’s Facebook page just shared a promotional image from the upcoming season of the show, and we see Jessa, Joy-Anna, and Jinger cozying up to their husbands. Where are Jill and Derick? Trying to think up a way to make a GoFundMe page without getting heaps of backlash for begging fans for money , we guess — whatever it is, it certainly doesn’t look like they’re filming a reality show anymore. It’s nice to see that the Dillards are gone, and that while TLC hesitates to let the Duggar family go completely, they still won’t tolerate the kind of nonsense that Derick spews. But as it turns out, many, many fans of this family disagree with that — and they took to the Facebook post to address this. “Utterly ridiculous that TLC removed Jill & Derick everyone is entitled to free speech we may not agree but still no reason to remove them from the show!!” one person wrote. That’s not how freedom of speech works, but OK, sure. “I wasn’t aware that bullying was defined by disagreeing,” someone else commented. “Such a double standard with anything that is conservative. Such a sad thing. Freedom of speech only applies if your not conservative.” … Seriously, do they not teach this stuff in school anymore? Considering that another person wrote “I think everyone should have freedom of speech and Derick could say what he wants to say and that is freedom of speech…”, we’d wager that they don’t. Yet another Dillard fan complained that “You can believe multiple spouses are fine and get a show on TLC. You can believe it is fine for a boy to live as a girl and have a show on TLC.” “You CANNOT voice your deeply held beliefs based on Biblical principles and remain on a show on TLC.” Another wrote “It is a shame how it is ok to bully anyone Duggar but they can’t have an opinion or a voice. I think the Dillards are awesome and will keep up with them on their social media accounts.” None of these people see an issue with what Derick said? They all think it’s cool that he went after a 16-year-old girl, and they don’t understand why TLC may have had an issue with that? It’s a scary, scary world out there. We’re not usually in the advice of giving advice to murderers, but if you’re going to kill someone, you might not want to pose in a selfie with your victim. And you definitely don’t want for that selfie to also feature the murder weapon. One such selfie was part of what led to Cheyenne Antoine’s arrest, conviction, and sentencing for the murder of her friend. Can you spot the murder weapon? Cheyenne Antoine (left) posted this selfie with Brittney Gargol (right), a photo posted to Facebook on March 15, 2015. Just hours before Brittney’s life was snuffed out forever. In the photo, Cheyenne can be seen wearing a belt. It is the same belt that police believe that Cheyenne, now 21 years old, employed to murder her 18-year-old friend. In March of 2015, Brittney Gargol’s body was found by the side of the road near a landfill in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The belt was discovered near her body. According to the Saskatoon Star Phoenix , Cheyenne employed multiple attempts to mislead investigators, including lengthy Facebook posts about being worried about her friend’s whereabouts. Cheyenne originally claimed that she and her friend Brittney parted ways during the night, with Brittney leaving with an unidentified man. Meanwhile, Cheyenne said that she herself had gone to see a friend and then gone to visit her uncle. In reality, investigators came to believe that Cheyenne, under the influence of alcohol, murdered her friend — strangling her with her belt. To be fair, the murder and the Facebook selfie weren’t Cheyenne’s only mistakes. Police were tipped off by a friend who said that Cheyenne had drunkenly confessed to the killing. Apparently Cheyenne and Brittney had gotten into an argument, and a drunk Cheyenne had ended up taking her friend’s life. Between that and photographic evidence linking Cheyenne, Brittney, and the belt, police were able to identify the killer. Cheyenne Antoine pleaded guilty and has now been sentenced to 7 years in prison. In addition to expressing remorse, Cheyenne appears to be haunted by her inability to explain what happened to Brittney Gargol’s family. Lisa Watson (picture speaking to reporters) says of Cheyenne: “She knows the family would like an explanation, a reason, but unfortunately she cannot provide that.” The crime was thoroughly senseless, even to the killer. Watson also mentions that Cheyenne was clearly dealing with personal issues, as well as substance abuse issues, which contributed to the homicide. That much is clear, though we haven’t read anything that would qualify as an excuse for the murder. Brittney Gargol surely deserved to live.

It looks like a former member of a Black Greek letter organization is BIG mad at a sorority. Priyanka Banks who appeared on the very short-lived “Sorority Sisters” series has filed a lawsuit against Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Banks was one of nine women on the show and one of several members of DST expelled for participating in the program. Now according to Banks, the sorority’s brash move to expel her was unwarranted and she needs to be compensated for their actions. TheJasmineBrand reports that Banks filed a complaint against the sorority in the Eastern District of New York claiming that she learned of her expulsion through a “random Facebook posting” in January 2015 but never received a formal letter notifying her of her dismissal. Banks claims that she was abruptly duck-walked from Delta’s good graces because of VH1’s reputation for “ratchet television,” which she defines as a genre where black women are “seen bickering, using profanity, behaving violently and verbally tearing one another down.” Prince Williams/WireImage She’s asking for (undisclosed) punitive damages, alleging defamation, breach of contract and negligence. Jill Duggar just can’t seem to catch a break these days. As if it’s not bad enough that her husband, Derick Dillard, has been fired by TLC after bullying a transgender teen on Twitter, now it looks like Jill might soon be jobless as well. Yes, Derick says his wife will be joining him in stepping away from the spotlight, and while that might mean things are soon to get a little leaner around the Dillard household, there may be some benefits to the new arrangement. For instance, perhaps Jill’s parenting won’t be subject to quite as much scrutiny now that her family is no longer on TV. Ha! Just kidding! As long as she continues posting on Instagram, new Jill Duggar parenting controversy will continue to pop up at the rate of about one per week. The latest might not be as scandalous as the time Jill put a tortilla on her son’s head , but it’s still got Duggar obsessives all worked up. A photo from Thanksgiving has once again caught the attention of the internet’s finest mommy-shamers, and again, they’re filled with seething rage. Yes, for reasons that aren’t entirely clear, the issue of Jill putting her kid on the floor is once again being raised. Some fans seem to not realize the pic is several months old. Others are just leaping at the chance to once again look down their nose at Jill. In both cases, the argument remains pretty much the same: Jill is terrible for leaving her kid on the floor while the rest of the family eats dinner. It’s a bit of reach, considering we know nothing about the context of the pic, but that hasn’t stopped fans from really going off on the mother of two. “Jill enjoys procreating, but once the baby is born, she’s not interested in the least in the actual parenting,” one person wrote on Facebook over the weekend. “How about a carrier or swing — something besides the dirty floor? I would have never done that to either of my children.” Is the floor actually dirty? Who knows. Does it matter? Obviously not. Look, we’re not ones to jump to the Duggars’ defense, but it does seem like Jill’s not really getting a fair shake here. WENN.com Seal Insists He Didn’t Mean To Insult Oprah With His Weinstein Meme Seal was under fire on Thursday for a post he made about Oprah, implying that she cannot be a “Me Too” advocate after years of friendship with Harvey Weinstein. Though many people have been trying to use old pictures of (insert celebrity here) with Weinstein against them, nobody can say that those old friends knew anything about what the powerful producer was doing to various women–especially someone like Oprah, so powerful herself she wouldn’t have been subjected to any of it. Even worse for Seal, he was further labeled as a hypocrite since his ex-wife Heidi Klum was also photographed multiple times with Weinstein, who was a producer for her show Project Runway . Now, unsurprisingly, Seal is backtracking and apologizing for what he posted about Oprah and insisting he has a great deal of respect for the mogul. The singer explains that he only used the meme for the actual message itself, and not to take shots at her in particular. Seal says in a video posted to his Facebook page, “What I re-posted was not an attack on Oprah at all…She just happened to be the person photographed with the pig in the picture. What I re-posted was commentary on the hypocritical and double-standard nature and behavior of Hollywood.” The “Kiss From A Rose” singer also took the opportunity to stick to to Stacey Dash and let her know he isn’t okay with her tweeting articles about him and trying to prove a point. He fired at the Fox News commentator, “Stacey Dash, keep my name out of your mouth. Do not retweet, re-quote anything I said in order to reinforce your self-hating agenda. You live in the Sunken Place.” Can’t really win people over any more than loving on Oprah and hating on Stacey Dash, right?
