1-2 Combo: Seal Apologizes To Oprah And Tells Stacey Dash Sashay Away Back Into Her Sunken Place

WENN.com Seal Insists He Didn’t Mean To Insult Oprah With His Weinstein Meme Seal was under fire on Thursday for a post he made about Oprah, implying that she cannot be a “Me Too” advocate after years of friendship with Harvey Weinstein. Though many people have been trying to use old pictures of (insert celebrity here) with Weinstein against them, nobody can say that those old friends knew anything about what the powerful producer was doing to various women–especially someone like Oprah, so powerful herself she wouldn’t have been subjected to any of it. Even worse for Seal, he was further labeled as a hypocrite since his ex-wife Heidi Klum was also photographed multiple times with Weinstein, who was a producer for her show  Project Runway .   Now, unsurprisingly, Seal is backtracking and apologizing for what he posted about Oprah and insisting he has a great deal of respect for the mogul. The singer explains that he only used the meme for the actual message itself, and not to take shots at her in particular. Seal says in a video posted to his Facebook page, “What I re-posted was not an attack on Oprah at all…She just happened to be the person photographed with the pig in the picture. What I re-posted was commentary on the hypocritical and double-standard nature and behavior of Hollywood.”   The “Kiss From A Rose” singer also took the opportunity to stick to to Stacey Dash and let her know he isn’t okay with her tweeting articles about him and trying to prove a point. He fired at the Fox News commentator, “Stacey Dash, keep my name out of your mouth. Do not retweet, re-quote anything I said in order to reinforce your self-hating agenda. You live in the Sunken Place.” Can’t really win people over any more than loving on Oprah and hating on Stacey Dash, right?

Donald Trump to Oprah: Bring… It… On!

Donald Trump has heard the same rumors as you have. And, not surprisingly, the Commander-in-Chief has something to say about them. And the Winner is? Donald Trump Click Here To Vote for Donald Oprah Winfrey Click Here To Vote for Oprah The Donald or The Big O? Vote on who would want as President! View Poll » On the heels of a rousing speech at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night, the Internet lit up with talk of Oprah Winfrey running for President . For real. According to various social media users, that is. After she inspired the nation with talk of female empowerment and equality, Winfrey quickly became the subject of talk among regular television viewers and experienced political pundits. Is she really considering a run for the Oval Office in 2020? Was the following speech her attempt at a stump speech? Was she thanking the Hollywood Foreign Press for bestowing upon her a major honor… or making a case that she is the most fit person to run the free world? Oprah Winfrey Delivers the Golden Globes Speech Everyone is Talking About Oprah herself has said nearly nothing about this chatter. Her close friend, though, has not dismissed the possibility. Gayle King talked the rumor on CBS This Morning Tuesday, telling viewers of her BFF: “I do think she’s intrigued by the idea. I do think that. I also know that after years of watching the Oprah show, you always have the right to change your mind. “I don’t think at this point she’s considering it. But listen, there are people who have said they want to be her campaign manager, quit their jobs and campaign for her. “She loves this country and would like to be of service in some way, but I don’t think that she’s actively considering it at this time.”  Winfrey became the first black woman to receive the Cecile B. DeMille Award at the Golden Globes. She’s as respected as any celebrity on the planet. In other words: she’s the antithesis of Donald Trump. So, would Trump be concerned about Oprah as a potential opponent in 2020? He was basically asked this question on Tuesday afternoon. “I like Oprah… I don’t think she’s gonna run,” Trump replied, adding that if she happens to toss her name in the race, well… “I’ll beat Oprah.” Of course. What else is going to say? We don’t even mean that as a typical Donald Trump diss. It’s just, what would any sitting President say about a future opponent, that he or she may defeat him or her? Way back in 1991, interestingly, Trump said he would select Oprah as his Vice President, were he ever to run for President. Fast forward decades later and he went with Mike Pence instead. Oprah, meanwhile, has admitted that Trump getting elected does make her rethink whether she would have a shot at the White House down the line. “I thought, ‘Oh gee, I don’t have the experience. I don’t know enough. I don’t…’” Winfrey told Bloomberg Television last year. “And now I’m thinking, ‘Oh. Oh.’” Oh, oh, as in: Vote for O, Vote for O? What do you think? Amy Roloff: Exploiting Jacob Roloff to Make Money Online?

For some reason (or many reasons, most of them invented), certain “fans” of Little People, Big World like to take aim at Amy Roloff. Usually, it’s for nothing more than imagined misdeeds. This time … well, they’re not imagining anything. The Little People, Big World matriarch definitely staged a photo op with her previously estranged son, family black sheep Jacob Roloff. And she used the otherwise endearing photo to … sell bread . As we all remember, Jacob Roloff has been taking baby steps towards repairing his relationship with his siblings and parents. And while it looks like Jacob Roloff and Audrey Roloff still don’t see eye-to-eye (and, quite frankly, may never), he’s definitely been bonding with his family. Particularly with his mom. They’ve shared some of their touching moments over social media over the past several months, which has been great to see. But this particular photo isn’t sitting too well with fans: On the surface, Amy and her youngest son are just eating side by side at the table. Okay, with some very prominently displayed bread.  Like, remember the old timey food pyramid and how like a quarter of what you were supposed to ingest was bread? This is that amount of bread. Amy’s caption raised some eyebrows when she wrote: “I just love when I get to hang out w/ my youngest son Jacob.” Sweet … and totally innocuous. So far. Then she writes: “Even more so when having some of Amy Roloff’s Little Kitchen Snickerdoodle Bread, Coffee, and hearing all about his Iceland trip w/ Isabel.” That’s … that’s such awkward, cringe-worthy product placement that most movies would turn down the money for it. “What a blast! Check out my January bread and other offerings at www.amyjroloff.com and Order some today! Enjoy! ” Don’t even get us started on her ridiculous tags at the end of the caption, which included the following tags: “#snickerdoodle #amyroloffslittlekitchen #amyssecondactcontinues .#lovetocookandbake #mylittlekitchen @AmyRoloffsLittleKitchen” Honestly, and we don’t say this to be mean, but it’s possible that Amy Roloff doesn’t know how tagging on Instagram works. If you take a group photo and somebody says “tag me,” it means, like, on the photo. Like Facebook tagging has worked since not long after Hurricane Katrina. The issue, of course, was that it seemed wildly disingenuous to a number of fans for Amy to turn what looks like a normal social gathering into a painfully awkward commercial for bread. Especially considering the reason that Jacob parted ways with his family in the first place. A couple of years ago, Jacob Roloff decided that he didn’t want to be on Little People, Big World anymore. In fact, he didn’t want to be around his family. He had a number of issues with his family – normal teen angst, combined with some very real grievances about how he was raised. Not everybody likes growing up on a farm. And the agnostic Roloff didn’t like being raised with zero religious choices , either. The final straw was the show, which he blasted as “phony” when he departed. If Jacob doesn’t like phony shows, how does he feel about staged get-togethers with mom? Clearly he agreed to it — sometimes it’s hard to say “no” to mom — but fans really let Amy have it in the comments. “I love my son but i also love my bread…both of which are for sale,” parodied one fan. “Can you ever take a picture without selling your expensive products. You are tooooo commercial!” This one sounded less like hate and more like feedback. “It’s awesome to see the 2 of you together, but does everything have to be a commercial?” That one’s definitely said lovingly. There were plenty of nice comments, too, and others defending Amy. Even Jacob stepped in to speak up for his mother, writing: ” I’ve actually never said filming ruined my childhood, only that it (obviously?) had, and continues to hold, a massive impact on my person now.” “In any case,” he adds, “being rude about a thing you want to change won’t do anything in the end – so please cool it, my moms bread is dank (that means good). ” Of course, not everyone likes Jacob, either. One commenter wrote in response: “He’s a little juvenile delinquent hates his family sorry SNOWFLAKE if you don’t like my post truth hurts” Our takeaway? People who leave internet comments can sometimes be nasty people who say cruel things that they’d never say in person. Groundbreaking stuff. View Slideshow: Little People, Big World Fans DRAG Amy & Jacob Roloff Again … Why? It’s crystal clear that Jacob is fine with helping his mom sell bread, and more importantly, he values their relationship. He’s trying to repair his bond with his family. So let’s not create additional problems where there aren’t any, okay? It’s bad enough that some fans want Jacob to cut his (great!) hair. Now you want him to cut ties with his mom again? Chill, everyone. Just chill. View Slideshow: Jacob Roloff: What You Don’t Know About the Little People, Big World Star

Jon Paul Steuer, Former Star Trek Actor, Dies at 33

Jon Paul Steuer, a former child actor who turned into a successful musician later in life, passed away on New Year’s Day from an unknown cause.  He was 33 years old. Fellow members of the band P.R.O.B.L.E.M.S confirmed this sad piece news via a Facebook post on Wednesday, January 3. It reads as follows: “It is with heavy hearts and saddened minds that we announce the passing of our dear friend and singer Jonny Jewels, AKA Jon Paul Steuer. “The addition of Jonny to our dysfunctional band family was one of the best choices that we have ever made.” “He brought a much needed sense of fun and lightheartedness to everything we did.” The band continued: “He was only with us for a little more than a year, but we managed to cram a lifetime of great experiences into his tenure as our singer.” “Dozens shows at home in Portland and across several states, an amazing European tour, and our best full-length release yet.” Concluded the farewell message: “We’ve lost our singer, but far, far more than that we’ve lost a friend. Rest in peace, Jonny…we love you.” A former child actor, Steuer rose to fame when he portrayed a young Klingon on Star Trek: The Next Generation. He was also know for playing the oldest son of Brett Butler’s lead character on the 1990s sitcom Grace Under Fire. (The photo below is taken from his time on Star Trek.) Steuer also appeared on an episode of the series The Wonder Years and the film Little Giants before landing his best known acting job on the aforementioned NBC show. He left Grace Under Fire at age 12 after three years, in 1996… and promptly retired from acting. In the years since, however, Steuer has occasionally been spotted at Star Trek conventions. The official Star Trek Online Twitter account shared a message in tribute to the late actor on Thursday: “Rest in Peace, Jon Paul Steuer, the first actor to play Alexander in TNG. You will be deeply missed.” He told The A.V. Club website in 2015, regarding his career: “I wanted to forge on with acting after quitting the show, and I went out on a few interviews. “But even then they’d turn into question-and-answer sessions with casting agents about Grace Under Fire.” “I was kind of blown away by how unprofessional people inside the industry were. “It really soured me. I didn’t want that kind of attention.” After leaving the acting world, Steuer performed in rock bands and, a few years ago, even launched Harvest At The Bindery in Portland. The restaurant announced on Facebook on Thursday it will shut down in wake of Steuer’s passing. “Due to an unexpected tragedy, Harvest will be permanently closing our doors,” the post reads. “We thank you for your support and understanding. Jon Paul Steuer R.I.P.” “There will be a memorial gathering for Jonny at Harvest on Sunday 1/7 beginning at 1:00.” View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2017: In Memoriam Continued the statement released by the establishment, for those interested in contributing to his family during a difficult time: “You can donate to help cover Funeral and Memorial costs here .”  Steuer, seen above when he was 18 years old, is survived by his parents. He will be forever missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

Kanye West is Almost Smiling in This Family Photo!

Kim Kardashian has shared a new picture on her Instagram and Facebook pages, and it’s worth noting for two reasons: 1. It features Kim, her husband and both of their kids, something we do not see very often. 2. Kanye West is smiling in the snapshot. Or at least smirking! For real! See for yourself: Amazing, right? Kim shared the photo along with a very simple caption that read “Happy Holidays.” It’s nothing too special or newsworthy, but this is Kim Kardashian and this is social media, so the photo has been Liked over 72,000 times in just a few hours on Facebook. Kardashian and West have actually lived a mostly quiet life in 2017. They concluded last year on quite the low note, of course, with Kim getting robbed at gunpoint in Paris and then Kanye suffering a nervous breakdown mere weeks later. These traumatic events left both stars shaken. For a few months afterward, divorce rumors plagued Kimye, as multiple outlets and tabloids wrote that these incidents were simply too much for the couple to handle. Word spread that the pair were drifting apart. There was even a rumor just this month that Kardashian was ready to file for divorce . We aren’t buying it, however. Why would we?!? First of all, Kanye just gifted his wife with over $500,000 in stocks, which does not seem like the actions one would take if one were about to get a divorce. Second, Kanye actually struck some poses for the family Christmas card, as you can see above. He didn’t make the cut for the final version, which left us a little confused and concerned, but still. There’s one final, very strong reason to believe this romance is doing just fine. And that reason is this: Kim and Kanye will soon welcome child number-three! As has now been confirmed by Kardashian herself, a surrogate is pregnant with the baby because doctors deemed it too dangerous for Kim to give birth for a third time. She actually may be due any day now. Would Kardashian and West really make this plan if there was any doubt about their romance? If they believed for one second that they weren’t staying together? We think everyone knows the answers to these questions. Over the next couple months, meanwhile, Kim and Kanye will welcome their child… Khloe Kardashian will give birth… AND Kylie Jenner will give birth. So while 2017 was actually pretty tame as far as this famous family goes, it’s already pretty clear that they’ll be back to making headlines of every kind in 2018. Buckle up. Jinger Duggar: Birth Control Rumors Spread as Fan Favorite Remains Childless

Earlier this week, the world learned that Kendra Caldwell is pregnant with Joseph Duggar’s baby. As is always the case with Duggar baby news, the announcement was greeted with enthusiasm from the family’s devoted fan base–but it also reminded many of a mystery that continues to grow with the passage of time: It’s been over a year since Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo got married , and yet the couple remains childless. As the pregnancies of Kendra Caldwell and Joy-Anna Duggar have recently reminded us, this is highly unusual in Jinger’s family. (Kendra and Joy both announced that they’re expecting within a few months of tying the knot. Some believe that Joy didn’t even wait until she was married .) Thus far, all of Jinger’s sisters have gotten pregnant within a year of getting married, and some have even given birth prior to their one-year anniversary. So it’s not hard to see why fans are growing increasingly curious about Jinger and Jeremy’s apparent reluctance to start a family. Some have even gone so far as to suggest that Jinger is on birth control . Like wearing pants as a woman or marrying a man whose religious beliefs don’t perfectly coincide with your father’s, using birth control is no big deal throughout most of the civilized world, but these are the Duggars we’re talking about. They’re civilized in the sense that they sleep indoors and use silverware, but they’d be the first to tell you that their belief system bears little in common with the average American’s code of conduct. Birth control is strictly forbidden in the Duggars’ world, and Jim Bob and Michelle have even recorded videos in which they preach about its evils. Jinger may rebel against her parents’ teachings in small, mostly inconsequential ways (see the aforementioned wearing of pants), but finding out that she’s using birth control would likely push Jim Bob and Michelle over the edge. Fortunately, for the most part, Duggar fans have proven to be uncharacteristically level-headed with regard to this issue. Recently, the Duggars posted a photo of Jeremy and Jinger on their Facebook page, and the comments section quickly devolved into the usual flurry of uterine speculation. But for every “fan” throwing shade, there were three getting Jinger’s back: “Jinger raised kids all her life, she might not want kids or she just wants to wait,” one commenter wrote. “Maybe they’re not waiting, maybe she’s having trouble conceiving. Give the poor girl a break, when she’s pregnant they’ll announce it,” remarked another. “I think these two are being smart and will choose to have children on their own timetable,” a third wrote. Is it possible that Duggar fans are beginning to let go of their judgmental tendencies a bit? Maybe, but many of these same people will likely lose it if 2018 passes without any baby news from Jinger. Watch Counting On online for more on reality TV’s most controversial family.
