Earlier today, we reported that Saved By the Bell star Lark Voorhies married Jimmy Green – a man she met on Facebook less than a year ago – in a private, civil ceremony back in April. The couple kept the news under wraps for over two months, and now we might have a clue as to why. TMZ is reporting that Green is wanted by police for allegedly threatening to kill a man in Tucson, Arizona in 2012. It’s a bizarre story: Cops say Green attempted to return a cell phone that had been lost by a man who owned a store in the area. For reasons unknown, the owner refused to take the phone back, which allegedly prompted Green to smash it against a wall and tell the say, “I’m going to break into the store and kill you.” It doesn’t sound like the sort of thing Green will have to serve time for, but death threats are taken seriously, and the altercation may have been a factor in the couple’s decision to keep the nuptials on the down-low. It’s unknown whether or not Voorhies was aware of Green’s criminal past, but it’s one of many odd details about her new marriage. In addition to how quickly Green proposed, he and Voorhies have had two weddings already and are currently planning a third. Weirder still – they’ve still never lived together.
