Given that Teresa Giudice is headed to prison in a few weeks, we’re sure she’s feeling a lot of pressure to give her kids everything they want this holiday season. But apparently that doesn’t include attempting to buy her eldest daughter a music career. It had been previously reported that Teresa shelled out upwards of ten grand a piece for Gia Giudice’s music videos . The most recent clip, entitled ” Season of Joy ,” just hit the Internet yesterday, and it left most viewers wondering where all that money went: 3KT: “Season of Joy” Music Video Even fans of Teresa’s were upset with the idea of her dropping big bucks on some pretty crappy music videos when she still owes six figures in restitution and she’s supposedly burdened by millions in debt. Fortunately, Gia’s production company (Yes, that video was actually produced by professionals.) has come forward to clear Teresa’s name. Owners of the obnoxiously-named Xhist Entertainment say that Teresa didn’t pony up any of the dough for Gia and friends’ videos. Instead, the cost was covered by Xhist and a a group of private investors. We’re hoping the FBI keeps close take on anyone too eager to invest in a 13-year-old girl’s racy music videos. Just sayin’. Gabrielle Union has confirmed that the hacked photos are in fact real, and of her. She had sent the private photos to her husband Dwayne Wade, but they somehow got out all over the Internet. The couple released a joint statement to TMZ regarding the leak, and said that their legal team will be contacting the FBI. Marion Barry, one of the more controversial political figures of modern times, died this morning from causes not yet known. He was 78 years old. Barry rose to national prominent after he was caught by the FBI while smoking crack in a hotel room with a young woman. He screamed “she set me up!” upon being arrested by authorities, but, incredibly, this incident did NOT derail his career. Barry served four rearms as Mayor – including a re-election after serving time in prison – and was often the butt of jokes from comedians, talk show hosts and, most often, on Saturday Night Live. Barry was a council member for Washington’s 8th ward at the time of his passing. “Marion was not just a colleague but also was a friend with whom I shared many fond moments about governing the city,” Mayor Vincent C. Hank claims that the transsexual model, who revealed their sexual dealings, is guilty of illegally recording and extorting him, and he wants to make her pay. Her account could be entirely accurate and still tantamount to extortion if she tried to bilk him for cash. He seems to be trying to dance around what really happened with Ava London , though, acknowledging only that he “hung out with her” that night. What else was hanging out, though!? This isn’t gonna go over well… NFL May Be Forced To Reinstate Ray Rice In November Via CBSSports Former Ravens running back Ray Rice remains suspended indefinitely following the publication of the video of him striking his now-wife, Janay, in a casino elevator, but he could be reinstated within the next four weeks, sources said. An appeal hearing date has been set, with a final decision expected to come in an expeditious manner thereafter, and all of that could be resolved by mid-November, which would conceivably allow Rice to sign with another team this season. Perhaps, even if reinstated, teams will find him too controversial to sign, but there is every expectation his playing status will be resolved before the NFL’s investigation into its handling of his case, being conducted by former FBI chief Robert Mueller, is completed. Former U.S. District Court Judge Barbara S. Jones is handling the appeal as a neutral, third-party arbitrator, and all sides in the case have agreed to a date to conduct the hearing in the near future. That date could change somewhat based on what Jones rules this week on some requests the NFLPA made to have certain materials available to them in discovery, but sources said Rice’s legal team has made it explicitly clear it has no desire to wait until the NFL and the NFLPA’s investigations are concluded to resolve the matter of this suspension appeal. Rice has maintained he did not lie in his testimony to Commissioner Roger Goodell, and his legal team will make the case that even under the NFL’s new domestic violence policy, and as a first-time offender, Rice should be suspended a maximum of six games, which has already passed. Furthermore, they will make the argument that the video tape of Rice’s actions were available to the team and the league throughout the process of determining his discipline, and thus nothing changed whatsoever with the case from the time Rice was suspended two games, until eventually being suspended indefinitely, save for TMZ obtaining and posting the video. Numerous legal experts I’ve spoken to believe Rice has an exceedingly strong case, and, considering it could be Week 10 or so before this hearing is resolved, it’s hard for them to conceive that Rice isn’t reinstated by Jones as part of her decision. If he is, would a team like the Colts, coached by former Ravens assistant Chuck Pagano who thinks highly of Rice, or New England, where Bill Belichick has very strong ties to Rice’s college coach, Greg Schiano, take a chance on Rice if they need a running back down the stretch? We wouldn’t be surprised if the NFL is literally BEGGING Ray to take the rest of the year off to keep the heat off of their shady azzes. Image via AP
