NY Giants star running back Rashad Jennings has teamed up with teammates and the New York Jets to present the first annual “GIANT Night of Comedy Team” fundraiser and reception at NY’s legendary Gotham Club on Nov. 30.
Apparently it's not enough for Chris Evans to be incredibly good looking and talented, while also saving the world on occasion. He also must be able to carry a classic tune. The sizzling superhero has gone viral after he and his younger brother, Scott, uploaded a video they recorded over Memorial Day Weekend of them belting out a cover of James Taylor‘s “Fire and Rain.” The 33-year-old stud is playing the piano while Scott is singing backup. “Chris and I messing around over Memorial Day weekend. Unfortunately we had the giggles and couldn’t make it through the whole thing without laughing for here is just a tease… With some sung apologies to each other. :)” the cute men captioned the video. Cookie Monster and Busta Rhymes have a lot more in common than you might think. They're both sort of wild-eyed and unpredictable, and obviously they're both prone to frequent bouts of the munchies. So perhaps it was only a matter of time before these two gravelly-voiced icons came together to bring the Flip Mode Squad sensibility to Sesame Street. This mashup works so well it's hard to imagine Busta didn't have the blue binge-eater in mind when he wrote “Gimme Some More.” Is this as on-point as the recent Sesame Street-Avengers parody? As memorable as last week's brilliant Beyonce-Duck Tales mashup ? We're not sure (the Internet's been on point with the bizarre mashups lately), but we can say that it's pretty entertaining.
Did Jada Pinkett Smith just confirm that she has an open marriage with Will Smith ? The actress – who has hinted at this unique arrangement in the past and who has battled divorce rumors for years surrounding her and her husband – opened up about her relationship yesterday during a chat with Howard Stern. “You’ve gotta be strong. It takes work – you know that!” she said to Stern. “Here’s the deal, Howard. You’ve gotta trust who you’re with. And at the end of the day, I’m not here to be anybody’s watcher. I’m not his watcher. He’s a grown man.” A grown man who apparently takes photos of Jada while she sleeps . Perhaps aware of how that quote comes across, the Gotham star elaborated on the fundamentals of her relationship: “Here’s what I trust: The man that Will is… is a man of integrity. I’m good.” There has been talk of infidelity on both sides of this marriage, with some tabloids claiming Jada cheated with Marc Anthony and others saying Will stepped out with Focus co-star Margot Robbie. Nicholas D’Agosto debuted as Harvey Dent premiered on Gotham Season 1 Episode 9 . But the freshman series made the same mistake with this character as it has made in the past, seemingly caring more about teasing his future as Two-Face than establishing him as an actual person in this Gotham universe first. Consider: the first time we see Dent, he’s using his famous two-headed coin to teach a young criminal a lesson. Watch Gotham Season 1 Episode 9 Online Gotham has many strong parts on its own. It doesn’t need to keep reminding us about who these people will become. It ought to focus on who they are right now. Along those lines, Harvey Dent did at least bring a few smiles to what may be the most dour show on network television. He also told Jim that a billionaire named Dick Lovecraft may the murderous mastermind behind the Wayne family killings. We later saw Dent interact with Lovecraft and witnessed the temper than can occasionally flare up in the district attorney. The Case of the Week, meanwhile, was a relatively pointless bore. It centered on an expert bomb maker who Gordon and Bullock eventually exonerated. But then Fish Mooney’s henchman, Butch, blew up some stuff and… well… the entire point of this arc was for the Mayor to dub Arkham as a destination for the criminally insane. Again, more foreshadowing for what’s to come way down the line. Not enough focus on the here and now. The most entertaining aspect of the hour centered on Bruce and Selina Kyle. Jim chose to store the latter at Wayne Mansion to keep her safe as a witness in the Wayne murders. And it was cute to see Bruce and Selina get along, tease each other, flirt up a storm. We’d tell anyone to watch Gotham online (via the above video) for this reason alone. Finally, Jim called Barbara after reading the note that said she needed time away. And viewers saw she was in bed with Montoya. Sigh . The show really has gone there. But it looks like it will go someplace far more exciting on Gotham Season Episode 10 , the fall finale. We’ve heard Willie Robertson approves her outfits to ensure that his 17-year-old daughter covers up and wear things that are in keeping with her conservative values. The sad, ongoing saga of Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott’s crumbling marriage somehow got even more depressing this week. It all started when, Spelling was hospitalized for a nervous breakdown . Even if he didn’t care about her condition, you might think McDermott would want to spend as much time as possible visiting Tori in the hospital just to earn some brownie points. You would be wrong: Instead, Dean visited an Encino sex shop and left with several bags’ worth of unknown items. Of course, given what we know about Tori and Dean’s sex life , it’s possible he bought the objects in question for both of them to use. Even so, his timing isn’t the greatest. When you’re thinking of ways to help your significant other overcome severe emotional distress, dildos shouldn’t be high on the list. We hate to break this to you, Detective Jim Gordon, but your day of reckoning is about to arrive. At the conclusion of Gotham Season 1 Episode 6 , Benjamin McKenzie’s dour police officer was about to be arrested for the murder of Oswald Cobblepot. Except, well… then in walked Oswald Cobblepot! So much for that whole homicide thing. Gotham Season 1 Episode 7 Promo But while Cobblepot’s stunning arrival (to everyone else) inside the Gotham Police Department headquarters may have saved Jim from a lifetime behind bars, it didn’t save him from a lifetime of looking over his shoulder. As teased in the promo above for Gotham Season 1 Episode 7 , the secret is now fully out: Gordon did not kill Cobblepot. This has Fish Mooney concerned and Falcone sending his most lethal henchman to track Gordon down. Look for an epic showdown to take place – and, even though we know Gordon makes it out alive, fans can also look for the conclusion of this arc to change him forever.
