How To Balance “Bro-mance” Versus “Romance”

See more here:

We all know that being liked by your boyfriend’s friends is a plus. What better security is there than knowing that his friends aren’t actively trying to change his mind about you? One of my friends is so used to being invited to her boyfriend’s “guys’ nights”. Whether it’s getting wings at the local dive bar or being rowdy and watching the game on someone’s couch, she’s always been a “guys’ girl”. The guy that she recently started dating, however, likes to separate his “guy time” and “girlfriend time”. BUT, this doesn’t mean that she needs to kick him to the curb and find a more romantic guy. We talked and tried to figure out what the right amount of “bro-mance” time versus “romance” time is. The first thing I did was explain to her the importance of “bro-mances” to men. Just because they’re spending time with their guys does not mean that they are going to break up with you. There’s no need to constantly call and text him asking about his plans. Having time to “bro out” can actually be extremely healthy for relationships. You have more to talk about, and let’s be real- you’d rather him be hanging out with his best guy  friends than getting drinks with the new lady at work. But how much “bro-mance” is too much ? When he is choosing to play poker with the guys 5 days out of the week, it’s time to step in and ask for a little more “loving time”. If you can squeeze yourself into a game of black jack with him and the guys, that’s great! But don’t go dealing cards where they don’t belong. You don’t want to start showing up everywhere and have his guys get annoyed of you. When my friend showed up at one of the guys’ golf games, she felt completely out of place and definitely heard the snide comments: “uhh dude, what’s she doing here?” Most importantly, keep in mind what his “bro-mance” time can mean for you. Use this time to pamper yourself or plan a girls’ night out . Just because he wants to hang out with the guys on Friday night doesn’t mean that you need to stay in by yourself. The most healthy relationships have a balance between romantic time and friend time. What are your thoughts on “bro-mances”? How do you stay in a healthy relationship while still giving him room to breathe? How much room is too much room? Fill us in! Nicki Minaj & Britney Spears Get Into Altercation At Femme Fatale Tour?! Here is the original post:

Nicki Minaj and Britney Spears nearly came to blows during their Femme Fatale tour after Britney was reportedly angered at the fact that Nicki Minaj’s set was running over the allotted time frame! Mediatakeout.com has reported “”[Britney] is upset that Nicki kept running over [her allotted] time. In Sacramento she was over about 10 minutes. But [on Saturday night in San Jose] Nicki went over by nearly 45 minutes. And Britney, being the GHETTO chick that she is – tried to STEP to Nicki and her security team. The insider added, “Britney came by Nicki’s dressing room with her [gay] dancers. They were talking sh*t like they were going to do something. Nicki came out [her dressing room] and at first was going to beat someone’s azz. But when she saw how RIDICULOUS Britney and them looked, she just laughed.” FACT OF THE DAY: Nicki Minaj Plays The Clarinet [VIDEO] Nicki Minaj Lets “The Girls” Hang Out At MTV Movie Awards [PHOTOS]

Britney Spears’ ‘I Wanna Go’ Premieres Next Wednesday

Chris Marrs Piliero-directed clip will meet deadline for 2011 VMA consideration. By Jocelyn Vena Britney Spears Photo: Max Morse/Getty Images Britney Spears is ready to unleash her “I Wanna Go” music video. The Chris Marrs Piliero-directed clip will hit the Web on Wednesday at 6 a.m. ET. This is the third single off Spears’ Femme Fatale, following up “Hold It Against Me” and “Till the World Ends.” This date is particularly important as it means that Spears just makes the June 24 deadline for the video to qualify for a 2011 Video Music Award. The video was shot late last month in the Los Angeles area. Little else is known about the actual concept for the clip, but given the song’s lyrical content, it seems that dancing will be featured. Piliero recently worked with Ke$ha on her cheeky “Blow” video. He’s also worked with indie acts like the Black Keys and pop rockers like Yellowcard. On Thursday, he gave fans an update on the video via Twitter . “Hey Brit fans … whenever I get deep into a project, I tend to not do much tweeting, so let’s do a quick catch up … finished editing the ‘I Wanna Go’ music video … love it … met up with @britneyspears … we watched it together … she loved it …,” he wrote. “Stoked …” Produced by Max Martin and Shellback, “I Wanna Go” is a funky dance track about going out, letting loose and having a great time, regardless of the consequences. On the song, Spears coos, “Lately I’ve been stuck imaginin’/ What I wanna do and what I really think, time to blow out/ Be a little inappropriate ’cause I know that everybody’s/ Thinkin’ it when the lights out/ Shame on me/ To need release/ Un-uncontrollably.” Related Videos Britney Spears: I Am The Femme Fatale Related Artists Britney Spears

“It#39;s Opening Night B–––!” Britney Spears wrote. Britney Spears Old, Big and Half Naked Costumes of the Day

Britney Spears opened her Femme Fatale concert last night, and she did what all the popstars are doing, cuz I guess she’s medicated enough to try to keep up with them, in what must feel like a dream to her, cuz she’s just someone’s puppet getting manipulated into being seemingly normal, and apparently cashing the fuck in…. Sure, I think she looks like a barnyard pig with lipstick, but I’m also an asshole who discounts her sloppy mom body and labels it something I don’t want to look at, but would want to knock up, cuz K-Fed’s living the dream… Sure, she’s much beter too look at half naked than Gaga, but she’s 30 and this whole pop thing for the gays thing pays the bills, but is kind of a stretch….like watching Cher or Carmen Electra or Pam Anderson all with their own variety of holding on as hard a they can to what they had shit… But she was half naked…and I’ll always notice that….whether it is good or bad….or a fragement of what it was during “Hit Me Baby One More Time Days”….and here are the pics… TO See the Rest of the Pictures FOLLOW THIS LINK

Britney Spears’ Tour ‘A Real Buzz’ For Openers Nervo

‘The nerves are gone now, and I just want to own it more,’ Nervo’s Liv tells MTV News. By Jocelyn Vena Britney Spears Photo: Jeremy Cowart/ WireImage The Femme Fatale Tour kicked off Thursday night to rave reviews, with critics giving Britney Spears props for her over-the-top stage show. The show is all about the ladies, thanks to opening slots from Nervo , Jessie and the Boy Toys, as well as Nicki Minaj, with Spears acting as the show’s head mistress. MTV News caught up with Liv from the DJ act Nervo on Friday (June 17), nearly 24 hours after their first warm-up gig for Ms. Spears. “I’ve got to say, it was a real buzz for us to open the show; that’s the selfish highlight,” she told MTV News. “We were honored to be there. I thought the crowd got our house music.” Liv had the pleasure of finally seeing Spears in concert for the first time and couldn’t help but rave about her. “I thought she was brilliant. It was my first time seeing Nicki, as well, and she was brilliant,” she said. “I love ‘Slave 4 U.’ I was really happy she was playing her oldies.” When fans first heard that Spears and Minaj would be touring together, no one knew how the two would mesh. But, as it turns out, Liv said they work just perfectly. “They’re both very strong women. Britney was the same old Britney we love,” she said. “They complemented each other.” In fact, there’s a real sense of camaraderie on the road. “The nerves are gone now, and I just want to own it more,” she said. “It really does [feel like girl power]. It’s very exciting. We’re all girls. This business is crazy, and it’s fun we can all be in it together. “It really is a machine. We’ve done RV tours before with club DJs, and this is so far and beyond from the RV tours,” she said. “The catering is insane; three-course meals, three times a day. I’ve never seen what it takes to be a part of one of these pop shows, and it takes so much work. It’s full on. It’s great. It’s amazing that she can take it all in stride all these years later.” Will you be checking out Britney’s latest tour? Let us know in the comments! Related Artists Britney Spears

Britney Spears Kicks Off ‘Flashiest’ Tour Yet

The Femme Fatale launched her tour in Sacramento, California, and is getting raves from music critics. By Jocelyn Vena Britney Spears Photo: Max Morse/Getty Images On Thursday night, Britney Spears declared herself a Femme Fatale, launching her tour in Sacramento, California. Having already garnered praise from critics who attended her dress rehearsal , Spears got more rave reviews from music journalists who attended the kick-off show. In addition to the glitzy costumes and high production value, Spears flaunted her stage chops, sashaying to songs like “Hold It Against Me” and “Big Fat Bass,” as well as old-school jams like “Toxic” and “Don’t Let Me Be the Last to Know.” Describing it as “her flashiest, fastest moving, and most entertaining production yet,” Rollingstone.com said that while tour-opener Nicki Minaj brought her signature sass, “The night belonged to Britney: She managed to prove that she’s still progressing as a showgirl. Not only that, she’s doing it better than even die-hard defenders would’ve predicted.” The Sacramento Bee explained that while “Spears performed like a pro throughout the show, hitting all her marks, she had shown hesitancy in her movements — natural for the first stop on a tour. But that hesitancy vanished when she put on the denim. She seemed at ease.” The best review of all may have come from Spears herself, who enthusiastically took to Twitter to thank her fans: “Can’t sleep. WAY too much Adrenaline right now. Sacramento was on fire tonight. You ready San Jose? Cause I am!!!!” Once she wraps her San Jos
